Everything was done in a very professional manner. They were on time, the installation crew were very meticulous in workmanship and cleanup. They answered all questions and made sure we understood how to operate the systems. A little pricey, but comparable to other companies. You get what you pay for and we have been very happy.

Provider installed new air conditioning/furnace unit in 2008. They have <br /> done annual service since that time. They never changed out the <br /> humidity filter which caused an overflow of water to the basement which <br /> damaged one wall (drywall). Originally the owner came out and said he <br /> would take care of it as his employees never changed the filter. He <br /> than called 20 minutes after he left to state that we had never had his <br /> company do any service. <br />

The scheduling staff was great. After getting an appointment booked, they called back to see if I wanted a sooner appointment that very day when they doubled checked and realized it was possible to get me in between jobs. I was out running errands and they offered to have the tech wait even if I was a few minutes late. Impressive. <br /> Dennis was our tech and he was fantastic. He gave me great tips. He was very personable and professional and not at all phased by our 3 youngsters running amok. It didn't take him too long and I felt he did a very thorough job and explained everything he did well. <br /> I will definitely invite Keep Heating and Cooling back to our home do our seasonal maintenance. If we are ever in need of larger repairs I would not hesitate to give them a call. <br />

They are excellent. We pay them for yearly maintenance contract, which includes maintenance, upgrading, checking, and changing the filters. Their people are very good. They are very courteous. They are punctual. The price is pretty good. They are knowledgeable.

I called to have my furnace looked at when the blower motor wasn't running. I told the girl I spoke with that I needed the motor replaced or since my furnace is older that I was considering replacing the furnace.She stated that it was $40 for the call and min $40 for someone to assess and that someone could be at my home in about an hour (It's been unseasonably warm here and they were not busy) Did ask if they would have all the parts needed to fix it with them and she said they should. Technician did call and show within the hour, spent 5 min to look over the furnace. Blower motor did start at this time. It was noisy, however, and he stated that it was bad. I asked the cost and said that I was thinking of replacing the furnace to which he replied that replacing was a good idea but that they couldn't do it right away and that I couldn't go without heat.(Thought that should be my decision) He removed the motor but could not separate the pulley from the motor and needed to go for another. He told me that I was "lucky" that he didn't have to go too far. (Why? Because I later found out they continue to charge $80/hr even during the time they've left your house for a part.) Tech returned with only box.(motor) Came back upstairs stating that I also needed a new belt because the one on the furnace was cracked in 4 places. I was extremely surprised by this considering they had been there only one month prior to do yearly maintenance during which the belt was "replaced". He finished installing motor and talked to me about a replacing the furnace. Presented me with a bill for parts and 120 min labor. (was actually aprox 30 min). Called to voice my concerns to the owner. Asked if it was common practice for them to charge labor when they aren't onsite, and , yes, for them it is. (Apparently they also charge for parts that they don't install as well.) He was rude, talking over me. Told me that he wouldn't have paid to fix a furnace as old as mine and that I was stupid for putting money into it. Thing of it was is that I had no plans on fixing thing if they were going to cost over $250 but everyone at Keep ignored that at the time. Hope there are still quality people who want to earn their business. Jeff Keep is NOT one of them!

We've used them several times and they always would grade an A. They are very thorough, helpful and suggest things. They are nice to work with and usually very on time. We feel their prices are fair. I will use them again in the future.

They are timely, they are responsive, they do a good job, and they are reasonable. Mr. Keep was the service guy that installed my system 12 years ago and I stayed with him when he started his own business.

Installed November 2021. We needed follow up service visits to adjust system properly. Following installation/service visits, we realized that 3 binders containing collectible autographs and trading cards were missing. They were accounted for prior to boiler installation/service follow up visits by Preece Heating and Cooling. They were missing immediately following installation/service visits. Attempts to correct/compensate/resolve the matter with Preece proved unsuccessful. Although a representative of Preece pledged to investigate the theft of our possessions, nothing occurred. This representative stated that workers who installed/serviced our boiler system denied any culpability in the theft of the 3 binders. This individual no longer responds to my communications. Therefore, if you employ this concern, I strongly recommend that you have surveillance cameras sweeping the work area and/or maintain a physical presence through the installation/service visit process. We had no surveillance and trusted the Preece workmen. As a result of our naivety, we lost over $1000 worth of collectibles.

It was the best service experience I ever had, quick efficient and professional. I would recommend them to anyone needing repairs. I even requested a yard sign, which I never do just to sing their praises. Top notch from Start to finish. They got me running within 24 hours of first contact.

After H Jack's condemning the furnace, my fiance wanted a second opinion. I then remember that H Jack's didn't check the flame sensor after they installed a new switch. They couldn't get it to stay lit more than 5-7 minutes. They did a few things in between 5 times they tried to get it going. I was right there asking questions about what they were doing. We called Preece and I went down and cleaned the flame sensor. Preece came that night, about half hour or so. When Preece came I explained everything that happened as well as me cleaning up the sensor. He turned the unit switch on, then the gas. Had me turn up the thermostat. It lit and stayed lit. He had shut it down again and then restarted it again and a couple of burners were delayed in lighting by a few seconds. He opened the wings on the burners just a little bit and it was in perfect working order. He tested air and it was fine. They came in, were phenomenally personable and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and charged less for the services than H Jack's. Our hot water tank needed replacement as of the day after H Jack's condemnation. The cold water inlet line valve wouldn't stop the flow of water so we had to shut off the main line. Preece capped that the same day so we could have running water again. Gave us a quote for a new hot water tank that night too. They came and replaced the tank the next day! Imho, Preece was phenomenally awesome! I will definitely keep them for all our needs they handle!!! For everything both days it was less than H Jack's. For everything they did service call and work done for second opinion, $165. For the hot water tank, parts, and labor $800
