Showed up early next morning, tech replaced tank within several hours

Maitz is the worst home services company that we have ever used. The ultimate extreme disappointment started when they gave us a four hour window (12pm-4pm) in which they would arrive, which we thought was a little annoying -- they really need that much flexibility in their scheduling? -- but whatever, at least they make a claim on their website that they are "ALWAYS ON TIME"... Hahahahaha, surprise! Joke's on us! 4:45 and they STILL hadn't arrived, and we had been all ready and waiting for them since noon. My husband had even taken the whole afternoon off from work to be there to meet with the technician. It just got worse from there... The receptionist when we called to find out what was going on wasn't even apologetic, she kept saying "we're short staffed right now" as though that was supposed to excuse everything, as if they weren't a business that had made a promise to a client that they failed to fulfill, as if we should be apologizing for being annoyed that they were so late. She was really unbelievably unprofessional. The technician spent the whole time on his phone either calling who knows who or "looking things up"... He got our heater going again after two hours... We paid a ton for the delightful experience... And then it stopped working again the next day. We called a different company who fixed it for a lot less $$, and now two months later it is still working. Maitz gets ZERO STARS from us. We'd recommend any other home repair service we've ever used over Maitz. Beware!!!

It went okay and they were professional, but there was no way to reach the electrician directly which made the whole situation more stressful and complicated.

They didn't not honor their schedule times. Horrible communication and service as it left us with no running water in the adjoining bathroom.

Victor from Maitz was outstanding. We had an inspection done and was very informative. He went above and beyond my expectations. He came back the next day and corrected the problems. He showed us what he did and explained everything. He is a top notch employee for maitz. Any future problems, he would be the one we ask for. Very professional and honest. Would recommend him to anybody.

We needed a whole new a/c system for our house. We looked at a few different companies in the area and decided to go with Maitz Home Services. Chris and Jerry came out to do the install. They were on time. They were very professional and nice. They were very knowledgeable about the whole system and how it works and good at explaining all of it. They left the workspace very clean after themselves. We are very happy with the job they did.

TOTAL SCUM DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They play bait and switch quotes with pricing. Wanted to charge me over 2000 for a job that other plumbers charge 5 to 6 hundred. Kicked them out of my house! Filling compliants with BBB NEXT.

If you want to play the game of low to high price, wait for the part and be treated rudely, Maitz is for you. Maitz used to be good. I used them for 14 years on my properties. Never again. Sad.

I was experiencing a slow drain which was backing up in my kitchen sink whenever using dishwasher. I called maitz Home Services and was happy to hear that the plumber would be at my house the same day. The kitchen sink was a mess with sludge and the plumber was friendly and efficient. He solved my problem! I would not hesitate to recommend this service to everyone also will be using maitz Home Services if anything should go wrong in my home in the future. I was especially happy that the plumber offered a preventive measure which I purchased and hope to use to keep my kitchen sink working moving forward. Thanks?

The technician determined that the condensate line was clogged. He recommended installing a condensate pump. I have this device in another house I own so I am familiar with it. It is a self contained unit where the PVC condensate line from the HVAC unit goes into, it plugs into a wall outlet, and there is a flexible clear plastic line that then goes into an existing drain. In this case there is a power outlet by the HVAC unit, and it's next to a washer/dryer so there is a drain for the washer a couple feet away. Basically a 5 minute install. The part is about $50 on amazon. The technician quoted me $850 to do the repair!!!! Unconscionable!!!! Luckily I knew enough to send him on his way, but what if I didn't? I called to complain to the manager who said "oh he should have adjusted the fee". Well he didn't, and if I didn't know better I would have been out $850!!! By the way, this is on top of requiring a separate visit for $99 to check it out!! I had a leaking toilet and I asked them to check out the HVAC issue at the same time. They said NO and that I had to pay a separate $99 fee for someone to go out there a second time.!! They charged $49 to come look at the toilet and then$266 to re-seat it (which seemed a lot, but ok).

They are wonderful and they did a very good job on that.  A couple times we had problems but it was more our ignorance than anything wrong with the system but they came cheerfully out and showed us what we did wrong and fixed it. They know the equipment that’s in our house, they are familiar with it, they have repaired it before, they have been reliable, they’ve been prompt, they’ve come in an emergency situations.

They are wonderful, we have a yearly contact and they check everything, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, everything.  Actually something my husband did, they came out, no charge, showed him what it was, showed him hot to fix it and fixed it.  You get top notch service you’re going to have to pay top notch dollars. They call and say when they are going to be there and they are there within 10 minutes of when they said they would.

All went fine. Refrigerant price seemed high, but I guess mark ups are to br expected.

Was given a complete quote for replacement range between $ 7,000 $10,000. Quote for repair $1800 or $3600. Paid $250 for initial service not informed where leak was discovered. Was told the quotes would be Emailed for my review. Called when quotes were not Emailed, another "Manager" tried to sell a replacement heat pump. He was provided a quote for repair for $7000. Stating it would be cheaper to replace than repair. Informed him that was not the quote I was told for repair. He tried to justify stating I had "old" heat pump. The unit was installed 2010. Had technician in home 06/13/2017, 06/14/2017,/06/15/2017. Called company 06/16/2017. Did not receive a written quote.

Work was done correctly the first time, & with no hidden costs.

The service person was knowledgeable about my water softening system and very informative on how to maintain the system. Plus he helped me out with an issue that I was having with my shower.

If we have a problem they are out right away. I had one tiny problem. It didn't turn out to be a problem, but I should have been careful. He asked me to sign a couple of pieces of paper to say I was satisfied that he fixed everything. That's before he told us how much it was going to cost. I didn't like that so I said something to him, so he didn't do it this year. That's just a small thing. I shouldn't never sign something without reading it. That shouldn't have counted against him, that was my mistake.
