Bruton Comfort Control

We had a really positive experience with Bruton, which as I understand it is a local family business. They were referred and recommended to us by a family friend and we were so glad to go with them! We are new homeowners and our furnace was literally older than us. They were super professional and helped us understand everything from start to finish including following up a couple weeks after installation to check that everything's working well. Unfortunately for us we need new AC soon as well but fortunately we know we can count on Bruton for the job!!

These guys are the absolute best. They are so helpful and friendly and respectful of our space and of CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Their prices are fair. They make themselves available when you need them. They did a complete cleaning of our HVAC system after construction left it unusable and left it running in perfect condition. They helped me troubleshoot our thermostat by phone, at no cost, when it was acting wonky. They really seem to know their stuff. It's so nice to have found a business I feel good about contacting when I need help with our HVAC system.

First time using BCC, and I'll be using them again in the future. Joe arrived on time, was quick and professional, and most importantly, solved our issue completely - including catching a couple of issues that our home inspector completely missed when we purchased the home. Very satisfied.

Replaced my furnace and AC with new models. By chance I had a home inspection a few weeks later and the job got thumbs up from the inspector. Everything working great so far. Will use again for my HVAC needs.

Researched multiple HVAC contractors via yelp. Decided to go with BCC for maintenance of my 20 year old carrier furnace. Fair price, great customer service, and did not attempt to up sell me. I have also been researching a lot about upgrading to a new more efficient furnace when the time comes. I likely will go with BCC. Thanks you guys!

What can I say? These guys are awesome! Bruton Comfort Control did repair work on an older, existing ductless HVAC system, as well as installation of a new ductless HVAC mini split system for four bedrooms in a home we purchased in the last year. In summary: Their bid was competitive and fair; the work they did superior to the work of two other companies I have worked with previously; Bruton's staff was professional and knowledgeable; the work was timely; their communication throughout the process was excellent, thorough, direct, professional and cordial; and their repair work and the installation work was likewise excellent. I would trust them unconditionally with an install or repair of a ductless HVAC system. If you want more details, read below. As background to the job: We moved into a house with an older system, where only the shared areas of the house had been configured with a Daiken ductless mini split HVAC system (living area, downstairs family room, and dining room/kitchen). The four bedrooms--two up, two down--were still on the original baseboard heaters from when the house was built in the late 1960's. The previously installed system was about 10 years old and appeared to have never been serviced. The outside unit made a high pitched whistling noise that could be heard with all the double-panes windows closed, and had an issue with the bearings or compressor motor. The noise was only getting worse with time, and it needed to be serviced, repaired, or replaced. One of the inside units, which was mounted on an inside wall, had a pump to drain the condensation line which had failed. This pump installed in the wall was making a horrible rattling noise tantamount to the sound of an old wind up alarm clock clacking away with no snooze button in site, piped through a loudspeaker. It was so bad that we could not use the unit, but it would also turn on randomly even with the unit off, which was absolutely crazy making and needed immediate attention. We had attempted at least one repair already with the company that did the original install work, which was now recommending a convoluted and expensive solution involving a new pump and custom drain pan in our attic. Also, the time line was weeks out. I called Bruton Comfort Control, and the owner of the company, Matt Bruton, promptly came out and met with me. We talked through the problems with the pump in the wall and with the noise from the outside unit, as well as the goals with the install of the new units. Matt quickly came up with a much better, more efficient and cheaper solution to the faulty wall pump on the inside unit than the much more expensive repair suggested by the original installers after they had failed to resolve the issue on the first repair. Matt also quickly identified what he believed to be the issue with the outside unit. The cost for both repairs was significantly less than the prior quote I had received from the first company. As part of the proposal process, Bruton's staff also suggested and took care of verifying what parts of the repair work could be done under existing warranty prior to any work being executed. I had a precise quote for all of the repair work and a reasonable schedule for completion shortly after that initial consult, along with a very competitive quote and recommendations for the install of the system for the bedroom units, that took into account our specific needs and what could be viably done in the home at the most reasonable cost. The work was all done well, on schedule and on budget with the bid. All of the staff that ever came out during the work was always kind, professional, tidy, demonstrated great knowledge, and were very thoughtful about making the install in the least obtrusive and most reliable setup possible. There were never any surprises, and communication with Matt, the owner, James at the office, and the technicians was always excellent. I just couldn't believe how pleasant everyone was, even when a small complication arose with one of the units post install, which they resolved quickly and completely in a manner that once again exceeded my expectations. I wish that my experience with all contractors were as good as my experience with Bruton Comfort Control. I don't normally take the time to write these kinds of lengthy reviews, but my experience with Bruton was--frankly--so good, that I felt it necessary to do so. They set a high standard for themselves and others, and I am thankful for their work and that contractors like Bruton Comfort Control are out there!

Great Job guys . It was quick , smooth and clean. Joe is prompt and professional. I had a furnace which was overheating. Joe stopped by and made sure he did not rush through the diagnosis . He spent time and checked all the boxes before he gave it a clear. Would surely recommend them.

I called to get a furnace repaired and Michelle told me they didn't have anyone available but she could put me on a list. I said are we talking a couple of days, a week or a year from now. She said the soonest she could have someone out is December 3rd (8 days from now). Well, who wants to wait 8 days to have a furnace repaired? I'll call someone else.

Great service and value! We got reminders and updates about arrival time, and Arthur gave us lots of useful information on the state of our ducts and heating system. He cleaned everything, changeded the filter, made some adjustments, and left no mess. We learned a lot about how the system works and how to keep it performing well. Awesome company!

We recently put in a heat pump in our small ranch house. The daikon system works so nice. It heats, it cools! Very impressive, and the team who installs and maintains are awesome too. I talked to James yesterday and he is top notch. They behave like they want your business for a lifetime!!

They charge for an in home estimate. Who does that? No one that I've worked with including The heat pump store, cost plus heating and Jacobs, who are all great.

I called them when our AC went out in the middle of a 90-degree week. They were booked out 3 weeks, but tried to talk me through a potential fix to avoid the delay and costs. I was not able to fix it on my own and they went above and beyond to get it fixed the next day despite their packed schedule. I am a fellow small business owner and I hope that my customers are treated as well as they treat their customers. I was kept informed and the work was completed quickly and effectively. I can't thank them enough.

Did a very good job with a repair project on my residential AC unit. Clean, prompt, and did what was necessary with zero up-selling, which is welcome as a customer. Would recommend/use them again the next time something comes up.

Bruton Comfort Control just finished maintenance on my HVAC system and they did not disappoint. Every time they have been to my house my questions are answered and I know I can trust their answers. They have gone above and beyond to serve the needs of my system and let me know what the future brings for its needs.

We recently needed to get our HVAC system replaced. It was original to the house and had given up the ghost in the middle of a heat wave. We contacted and spoke with several different companies and finally decided to go with Bruton. My biggest complaint was that I had to wait a month to get them to come out. After they came out I realized why I had to wait a month. They do great work and they are in demand. The owner himself came out with the crew on the first day to make sure they understood my specific concerns about airflow and installation and the install crew were great guys. I know it's not really necessary but they took the time to answer all my questions as they were working, explained what they did, and took the time they needed to get it done professionally and right. They've been back after the system was running for a bit to make sure it was doing what we wanted and the house is comfortable again. There is air coming out of vents that have been dead for the 2.5 years I've lived here. They're the only company that was able to fix it.

Bruton Comfort Control just installed my Daikin 2 zone ductless system last week. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and caring from the moment I requested an estimate to the end of the installation. Their work is clean and done with precision. They deserve their 5 star rating!

When you have A/C and it breaks...it kind of puts you in a panic (me anyway). That's what happened to us...during the hottest part of the summer. I searched Yelp and found that Bruton's had great reviews. I sent a message and received a response almost immediately. Matt was able to come out and had the parts we needed to get back up and running! He even went a step beyond and made sure the unit was free of dirt and spider webs by spraying it all down.

I have had Bruton service my Hvac since I got my new condo. When I had to replace the unit, I had them do the work. When I needed an emergency service ( cooling wouldn't work), Bruton came over immediately and made it right. They have been great to work with and I highly recommend them.

I had Bruton Comfort Control to install a new heat pump systems in my condo. When I met with James and Matt to provide me with an estimate, I found them to be very professional and knowledgeable. When Arthur came to install the heat pump systems, I was very impressed with the superb installation job he did.
