I highly recommend Custom Air Conditioning and Heating! I have been using them for several years now for my condo and have always been more than satisfied with their work. I use their yearly Service Plan to have my furnace and air conditioner checked at the beginning of the season so I don't have problems during the year. The service men have always been polite, friendly and knowledgeable about what they were there to do. I recently had a complicated problem with a new furnace and they spent several hours at my home until they came up with the solution to my problem.

Nobody like a it when their furnace goes down, as mine did early Sunday morning, especially when the temp is 27 degrees outside. But the Custom Air team has been terrific. Austin came out, diagnosed the issue, found a "hack" (my words not his) work-around to keep the heat on while they sorted it out. He walked me through troubleshooting I could do myself if it happened again, which it did. The next day another tech came out - Scott I think? - and fixed the problem, which we hope will not happen again of course, and didn't charge me for the hours he spent here. Sometimes things go wrong, and sometimes it takes more than one visit to fix it. Especially over the life of a furnace. In fact, a few years ago I had an issue similarly resolved with accountability and a smile by other team members. It's all about HOW the company responds and how they treat you as a customer, how they communicate with you and take responsibility that makes the difference. Bravo Custom Air. This is how you build customer loyalty.

On time, efficient, pleasant and all around great! I'd been without air for three weeks. The estimator came the day after I called. He checked everything out and gave me a great estimate. The work was scheduled 10 days out - not bad in the grueling heat wave. Installers were due here at 8:30. They showed up at 8:29, got to work and had the furnace/a/c installation finished in about 4 hours. For the first time in three weeks, I'm relaxing in a cool, dry living room! I even cooked dinner tonight. Can't recommend Custom Air highly enough!

My furnace had been acting a little weird, inconsistent, but would turn on for short periods and then turn off. I assumed it needed cleaning because I had not done it for a few years and frankly let the filter go way too long. The house was still heating so it wasn't an emergency. I Looked up reviews on yelp and emailed Custom Air before I went to work in the morning, by the time I got to work they had already emailed me back with pricing. I gave them a call and they said they would come out same day! Wonderful! The technician was kind and went right to work. I could tell that after he worked on it, it still wasn't working right. He had to give me bad news I needed a new gas value, there wasn't any other issue with the furnace but it wasn't working consistently after many tries. Not an inexpensive thing..$700+. I held back tears, money is tight and that was not what I was expecting. I could tell he also felt bad about it. But he talked to be about it and explained what was happening, as we talked I mentioned I was having a water heater issue as well. He asked what was happening. I explained the pilot light won't stay lit, he immediately went to my gas stove and tried the burners. Then went back into the basement looked at my gas meter, he said, 'call the gas company right away, I think you need a new gas meter.' What?! He said it sounds like you aren't getting enough gas to the house to fuel all your appliances, so he left me with the estimate and said to call them if the gas company didn't solve the issue. I called they gas company, they were at my house within 20 mins. They took one look at my meter and said, 'yep, you need a new meter. We will have it done in 1/2hr, free of charge.' WOW! WOW! I will wrap this up with Custom Air is HONEST!!!! They could have charged me for a part I didn't need, but they took the time to talk to me and understand what was going on. They were not in a rush to hand me a bill and walk away. They have gained a loyal customer!!! Sorry for the long review, but they are wonderful! 100% recommended.

After being told by our "usual" heating/cooling company that we've used for years that they couldn't get to us for 2 weeks when our A/C decided to stop working, I took to Yelp to read reviews -- and THANKFULLY found Custom Air!!!!!! WOO HOO!! The experience was EXCELLENT, right from the start!! They were able to send a repair guy out the SAME DAY -- major props for THAT!! Sadly, when he got here and diagnosed the issue, our compressor needed to be replaced... But the sales guy was able to come out the NEXT DAY -- more props to Custom Air -- so we were able to discuss our options and decide how to proceed. And within a week, we had a brand new system installed! Everyone we came into contact with from Custom Air was professional, thorough and knowledgeable! We would highly recommend Custom Air!! (And thanks other Yelpers for helping us to find them!!)

Received a call today from Bonnie.I guess my request for a estimate had somehow slipped thru the cracks.She apologized and said that's not the way she or Custom Air does business.She offered to send someone right out to give us a estimate for a new furnace. Unfortunately we already have had it taken care of.I don't know Bonnie personally but by talking to her I can tell she was sincere in her apology.Although I can't leave a review on the quality of their work, however her being a spokesperson I'm sure their work is also top notch.I will try them again when I need furnace repairs.

All I wanted was a estimate.Went to website,explained what I was looking for.Received a email someone would contact me with in 24hrs.35 hours later no one called so I called them.Talked to a lady that said that she was sorry,and that she had received my request online herself.Said the guy who does estimates just went on vacation.I thought is was funny that there is only one guy that does estimates.Anyhow 12 days later still no return phone call or estimate.

No one wants to replace a furnace or AC unit but if you have to you want to work with a company who is professional, experienced, fairly priced, and great to work with. Custom Air is that company. I had a great experience from beginning to end when I replaced my AC unit during a rising heat spell in July. Bonnie, who was friendly and knowledgable, took my information and scheduled Dave to come out to help me choose the best unit for my needs. He made the process so easy and saved me a lot of money. Andrew and Jake installed the unit and did a great job. Everyone I dealt with was terrific! I'm sitting in AC comfort thanks to them and I highly recommend them.

From start (estimate) to finish (heating and cooling system replacement) Custom Air did an awesome job; and will be our "go to" for any HVAC issues, repairs, maintenance. Not one complaint or concern. Professional, friendly, informative... with competitive pricing. Thanks guys!

This is at least my 4th or 5th visit with Custom Air. Recently Scott Haring came out after our furnace went out in January. The no pressure, fact filled information he shared was easy to understand and helped me make a good decision on a replacement. The crew that came out to install the furnace and AC, Perry & Andrew, did a fantastic job. I couldn't be more pleased with the way the whole thing turned out. You know I said this was my 4th or 5th visit with them? That's because every visit I have had with them was like this - professional and well executed. I would recommend them for any heat or air matter you have.

Custom Air installed a Trane HVAC (with air filter, humidifier, UV light) and a Mitsubishi Mini Split. My neighbor, a retired engineer, was right on the money when he recommended Custom Air for our new heating or cooling equipment. Office staff, sales and installers are total professionals and very friendly. Ty Gates did a terrific job laying out our options for a new Trane HVAC system plus a Mitsubishi Mini Split to heat and cool our third floor. We had presentations from three companies and quotes from two. Ty beat the other company's price by over $1,600 including rebates -- more, actually, because Custom Air's quote included a remote thermostat for the second floor, external temperature sensor, an internet connector for the app, and a sensor that notifies us if there is water on the basement floor. He also saved us over $1,000 in rebates (the other company had missed the $200 AEP rebate for the mini split). We also appreciated his making it possible for us to speak with two people for whom Custom Air had installed Mitsubishi Mini Splits. Custom Air is a Diamond Contractor for Mitsubishi, which means they have specialized training and the parts warranty is 12 years instead of the standard 10 years. Ty also balanced our ducts and supervised and followed up on the installation. He was easy to talk to and answered texts and emails promptly. The installation team, led by Chris, was terrific. The crew put down dropcloths to protect our wood floors. They needed to drill through brick and plaster to install the Mitsubishi Mini Split. It could have been a huge mess, but they tented the area in plastic. It was a pleasure having Chris, Perry and Nate in our home. Mark, the electrician, also did an excellent job. Everyone was super nice. These folks are all staff, not subcontractors. The plastic parts to be installed on the outside of our redbrick house are beige, so we bought a can each of plastic primer and paint and gave them to Ty. The crew painted the parts offsite and brought them all ready to go. It ended up taking 5 cans of spray paint to cover the length of wire molding up the side of our house and the condensation exhaust cover, and Custom Air went out and bought the extra paint. We appreciated this extra service. They also carried our old window air conditioner down two flights of stairs and hauled it away. The new furnace and air conditioning compressor are much quieter than our old equipment, and it's great having a remote thermostat on the second floor so we don't have to go downstairs to change the temperature. The Mitsubishi Mini Split is a huge improvement over the window air conditioner and baseboard heating we had been using on the third floor. It's energy efficient, super quiet (inside and out) and the temperature is always just right. Like the Trane HVAC, this system includes a remote thermostat and an app. We are thrilled with our new systems and with Custom Air's excellent installation. Exceeded expectations! Highly recommend!

Custom Air is the company contracted to our building by the strata. A few months ago a phantom leak in the bathroom ceiling started haunting us and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Jim B. has been our service technician and it has been great working with him! He certainly lives up to the company motto "The Difference Is Service". He is friendly and personable, and has been working hard to sort out our unusual problem. I don't know very much about plumbing/heating but Jim seems to be much more knowledgeable and informative than previous techs sent in to diagnose our leak. Jim or their friendly office staff usually sets up a 1-2 hour arrival window, none of this "between 1-6" BS, and gets in touch when he is on his way. He has also gone out of his way to stop by short-notice, as our issue was completely random and impossible to diagnose when the leak wasn't active. There was some demo work required in the bathroom ceiling, Jim took care to create minimal damage and mess as well as cleaning up everything before he leaves for the day - even if he was returning the next morning.

Our furnace have not been working properly and making some noises telling us that is a time to look at it. I started calling places to find service. Really happy that i did pick Custom Air to come out and do maintenance on our furnace besides being reasonably priced i was able to get appointment 3 days after request (meanwhile other places were available only in 6 to 8 weeks). I was impressed with technician's professionalism, knowledge of product and great service.

I was a first time customer based on a recommendation of a friend. Our Air Conditioning went out late this evening. They came out, got it running, and then did a full diagnostic check of the entire system. The gentleman was personable, knowledgeable, and very informative. Custom Air Conditioning just recruited lifelong customers in the Willson family.

They have been excellent in terms of the installation and in terms of their annual maintenance. I would highly recommend them and would use them again. .

The guys who came out were so helpful and nice. They were thorough and explained what was going on with my system and gave me the options before moving forward with the solutions. I will have them check my system twice a year to keep everything working!

They came out twice. The first time, May 15, was to give the AC a spring check-up. The second, May 23, was to replace a leaking coil. The technician was on time, polite, professional, and helpful. He seemed to know what he was about. He confirmed the AC coil was leaking and said he could refill the system and see how long the Freon lasted, but he recommended replacing the coil. Another company had already found the leak, but I brought in Custom Air because of some concerns I had about the first company. He took the info back to his manager who called me with a cost for the job (half the price of the first company). He determined the coil was under warranty which saved me $500. He also willingly sent me a full quote in e-mail. The technician came out and provided professional service again. They told me in advance how long he wold be on site and they were finished early. I'd use this company again. They also have a high Yelp rating.
