He responded quickly, diagnosed the issue right away, restored our heat, and then replaced the faulty part to ensure the repair was done correctly. Sean and his assistant Gary were professional, knowledgeable, and kind. It is clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about serving people well. I've had two GREAT experiences with Phoenix teams in the past week. Firstly, John assessed our hot water heater failure quickly and then helped us determine some issues with poorly installed duct work done by a former service company. He was efficient, professional and great to work with. Secondly, Matt and his team who installed our new hot water heater were great as well! I recently purchased a home and needed to replace the old oil furnace to something more energy efficient. I reached out to Phoenix Mechanical and received options and quotes that best fit my situation. Mark and his entire team at Phoenix were very responsive, respectful and trustworthy. Mark and the installation team were all very knowledgeable. The installation went smooth and was done very neatly, even the inspector was impressed. I highly recommend them.

I have been using Phoenix Mechanical for a bit more than 2 years. Initially, I contacted them to take over both our heating and air-conditioning maintenance, which they did flawlessly, including fixing a hard-to-fix problem with our Viessmann boiler. This spring one of our air-conditioning systems failed and Phoenix worked with us and helped us find an energy efficient AC/Heat Pump unit that satisfied our requirements. Everyone we have worked with, from senior management, in particular Jonathan Nissman, to system installers to service personnel to office staff, has been prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and capable. Our experience with Phoenix to date has been excellent, and I have no reason to believe that will change.

So glad to have found Phoenix Mechanical, finally -- they are responsive, trustworthy, fair, and reliable in ways that contrast with at least two other top-rated companies I've used in past decades. From their near-instant communication, including the extremely knowledgeable owner's attention to big jobs, to their fair pricing, fast-as-possible service, and skillful, highly competent technicians who know how to work in tight spots (literally) that are really hard to reach, I can't recommend Phoenix highly enough. They don't cut any corners, and I am really appreciating the tough AC job so well done!

Ever since we bought our home two years ago, our split-level house was costing us a fortune in utility bill while still being wildly uncomfortable. The house, built in the 1960s, was serviced by an ancient gas furnace on the main floor and a failing heat pump in the attic. The furnace was located in an unfinished basement directly beneath our master bedroom. It regularly woke us up at night due to the noise and the heat that radiated up through the floorboards. With everything on one thermostat zone, we had to turn our bedroom into a sauna just to ensure our kid's bedroom (located right above the garage) stayed warm. After researching HVAC companies on both Google and Reddit, we got a number of proposals. Larry from Phoenix came out and did a thorough walkthrough, taking measurements, inspecting our crawlspace, and proposing solutions that nobody else had suggested. I was most appreciative of the fact that he noticed the extreme temperature differentials as he walked through our home and explained what we could do to fix them. Rather than just adding zones to a noisy, costly system that was approaching its end-of-life (which was what almost every other company suggested), he proposed new units and ductwork. It was more expensive and ambitious than the other proposals we received, but his plan actually sought to address our main complaint: that month after month we were paying an arm and a leg just to be uncomfortable. He even laid out how his plan could be accomplished in stages if we weren't ready to do everything at once. We decided to take the plunge and redo everything and I'm happy to report that Larry's plan worked. Carlos led the installation team and was an absolute gem. (It's a small thing, but his team always wore booties any time they had to set foot in our home.) Carlos always took the time to talk us through what his team was doing and even connected us with an electrician (Brian McCormack) who did the requisite electrical work for a very reasonable rate. The two failing systems we inherited when we bought our house have been swapped out for three energy-efficient, whisper-quiet heat pumps (we liked the team so much we also had them replace our now-out-of-warranty water heater). Our home is now at a consistent temperature no matter what room you're in (and I no longer need to sweat above the covers to ensure my toddler stays toasty half a floor below). We're can't recommend Larry or Carlos enough. We're comfortable in our home for the first time in two years and it was worth every penny.

Phoenix have been excellent - replaced our furnace within a few days of putting in the request; their staff are always polite, reliable and courteous - and they work efficiently. Highly recommend and are so glad to have them as our HVAC guys! Thank you!

We’ve used the Phoenix team twice since moving to Chappaqua 6 months ago, once to install digital thermostats and once to replace a number of older systems. We could not have been happier with the quality of service and incredibly nice and knowledgeable technicians. Our neighbors used the team for a large system upgrade as well and were equally happy. Doug and his team are amazing. They saved me during Covid by replacing my Rinnai tankless water system with two new units in 2021. They continue to service the units and everything works exactly as expected and promised. Had a recent issue with backflow from my reserve hot water tank due to the setup of the check valve. Doug was very responsive - came to my home and figured out the solution with the engineering team at Phoenix. They came yesterday and did the work. High quality and solved the issue. I have dealt with many contractors over the decades - Phoenix is on the top of my list. Great people, honest, reliable and stand by their work...

We recently had a new heat pump and ductless mini-split HVAC system installed in our home. Phoenix installed the system and the process was fantastic from beginning to end. An assessment was done, and we were explained very clearly what needed to be done. When it was time for the work, the installers were amazing in their quality of work, time frame, and how kind and professional they were. I would highly recommend (and have already) Phoenix for any of your HVAC needs. This is a well run organization!!

Over the course of several months, I had two different techs from Phoenix mechanical in my home to inspect my boiler and water heater for repairs (and down the road, replacement) I even requested a quote for a gas line for a stove- The line is already dug up to my house. It would have been a quick and easy job. They couldn't bother getting back to me with any actual quotes. I'm in touch with a plumber now who quickly gave me all the information I requested after one visit. I'll be moving forward with them.

Phoenix Mechanical has done an energy audit, new thermostats, and HVAC Mitsubishi and Daikin systems in various parts of my home. Their work has improved and evened out the comfort in my home. They are reliable, impeccably neat, and gracious.

We have used Phoenix Mechanical (in Elmsford) since moving to the Rivertowns 5 years ago. They have installed 2 new furnaces, done duct work to support those, installed 2 new air con units, and have done twice yearly maintenance. I have always found their work professional and efficient.

Great company , I have used them for over 15 years, they are experienced in all boiler types. They did a great job installing a triangle wall hung boiler with all new piping and shut off valves. Did such a nice job that I had them repeat this system for my moms house.

They came out to to service the heat pumps/ac units for the season. They did almost nothing but provide a bill. Said they couldn't check compression because it was below 65 degrees, didn't flush the system, and didn't clean the blower fan or coils because "that's not something we do anymore..." They couldn't even be bothered to follow up and and send me the name of a company that would. The only thing they did was check to make sure the units heated to the correct temp - we certainly didn't need to pay hundreds of $ when we already knew that.

Highly recommended! Phoenix showed up on time, diagnosed and fixed my central air conditioner quickly and at a super reasonable price. Will definitely use again. Thanks Phoenix!

Reckless driving on route 22 this afternoon a pheniox van blew right past me looked like road rage taken to far cutting and speeding through traffic to catch up to another car. I’m sure they don’t drive like this to get to there service calls
