Stellar service from a company with a well-earned reputation for solid workmanship. These guys are the real deal. Ramon was exceptionally knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time explaining what needed to be done. Once I signed the contract, everything happened at lightening speed. The servicemen showed up on time, were careful to not damage the doors, walls, or hardwood floors when they hauled in the new gas boiler and water heater, and left the basement in spotless condition. After I sold the oil stored in my old oil tank, Horizon was out the very next day to cut up the tank, clean the inside of it, and haul it onto the driveway for inspection. Not a single drop of oil was spilled. They are that meticulous about their work. A shout out not only to the remarkably zenlike Ramon, but also to Robert, who patiently and respectfully dealt with an unnecessarily finicky inspector.

We called horizon to have our toilet seal fixed but they sent us a 3rd party Hutchinson Plumbing which charged us 714.00for 40 minute work. Horizon shouldn’t have sent us a company that charges exorbitant amounts. We had no choice as they were at our home and we would have to pay them $89.00 just for showing up and doing nothing. This isn’t right.

Quoted $3400+ for HW heater Boiler repair. That was Option B - Option A, their recommendation, was replacement of a 10 year old boiler LOL I fixed for $70 in parts. $60 and 20 minutes labor for expansion tank (Horizon quoted $1200) My system bleeds air automatically (Horizon wanted $1200 for that) ignored another fix they specified, running fine now. They even messed up the quote by a thousand - the tech's verbal estimate and written estimate not matching, I still don't have the proper quote in writing after 5 phone calls.

It was expensive and there was a delay but it was fine.

I've been using Horizon for these services for several years now. The office staff and technicians have consistently been courteous and professional. All covid safety precautions are being taken. I typically purchase a package at a discount price that covers summer and winter inspections. The price is very reasonable. Fortunately, I have never had to hire them for a problem. The techs always try to sell additional services, but they are not pushy about it. I will continue to use Horizon.

disappointing. product is 6 years old and still under warranty for 4 more years. the service person brought me down to the basement to show me that though everything checked out fine, some parts were dirty/dusty and he would clean them for an extra 304 dollars. i questioned why this wasn't part of the regular maintenance and declined. he later told me that he had planned to give me a discount down to 150 dollars. this type of pricing is a huge red flag to me and doesn't put this company in a good light. i have used this company exclusively for the past 6 years but i'm not sure i will continue after this period. some of their service techs however are terrific but this last one was not even careful with social distancing.

Horizon is a great company their workers came out late at night to help us regain our water supply. I highly recommend this company.
