Very well. I wasn't sure whether we could get someone to come that day, but the company was really accommodating, and workers arrived within a couple of hours of my initial call.

We used the company twice. They were great and they were fast. Rapid response. They did great work done.

Dean is on my phone contact list now for anything I need. He's helped us with two of our properties and he is always a phone call away and gets it done the same day. The job speaks for itself because we have not needed him for the same job twice. Terrific job and company, I highly recommend. -Megi

Amro came over within the hour and looked at the pipe. I told him that I recently lost my job due to Covid and he worked with me on the price. He completed the job in minimal time and was meticulous about cleaning up after himself. As he was leaving, I asked him a question about my gas fireplace and he took the time to look at it, fix and and make sure it was safe to use. He even made me turn it on and off so he could watch that I was doing it correctly. I can't recommend him enough. He is now my plumber/HVAC guy.

Green Apple has come to our rescue not once but on TWO separate occasions! The first was last summer when my AC system had issues and most recently was right before Thanksgiving when my steam boiler died. The boiler broke the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We called numerous plumbers that friends recommended - most of which either never called us back or they told us they wouldn't be able to do any work until the Monday after Thanksgiving (at earliest). We did get one estimate but it was a LOT more than we ever expected and more than anyone had suggested we should pay for a new boiler. Then we remembered Green Apple and gave them a call. It was amazing to have them answer the call (no typical answering machine) and say they would be here in 2 hours or less. Dean came as promised and the estimate was substantially less expensive than my other one. By this time it was at least 3pm on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. They immediately started the work and were still working at 9pm. They said if they stayed until 11pm they could probably finish that same day, but we decided to call it a night and finish the next morning. They explained everything along the way and the cost never increased from what was quoted in the estimate, even with the late hours! In fact, they also installed a new thermostat and a valve for one of my radiators - all at no additional cost. In addition, they (team of 4 guys) fixed some prior issues with the old boiler that weren't up to code. They cleaned up everything and even gave me an estimate for additional work I will likely have done in the spring. I highly recommend Green Apple for all your HVAC work and plumbing! I won't hesitate to call them for any future work I need done.

High quality, responsive, fair, and clean These guys are the best! We worked with them on a water heater replacement and a air conditioner repair/replacement - both in July 2019. When our water heater broke, we called several places. They were the first to respond - Ahmad was able to come out to our house within an hour or so. He answered our questions, let us know why he knew it needed to be replaced (as opposed to repairing a link), and began working. He noted that our previous water heater had been installed incorrectly, and he re-welded a pipe so that the new water heater could be installed on a more level surface. While he was at our house, we asked if he could also install a new kitchen faucet that we had been meaning to replace. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes. For both repairs, he left the worksite clean. I'm glad our water heater broke that day, because we learned they also do air conditioner repair. Dean was much more knowledgeable and provided us with more repair options than any other company we had contacted. We had been under the impression that both our air handler and condenser needed to be replaced, but he let us know that although the condenser needed to be replaced, only one part of the air handler - the coil - needed to be replaced. This saved us thousands of dollars. Dean also patiently answered our questions about other air conditioner options we were considering (e.g., whether to get a a unit with greater capacity). While we were waiting for parts to be available, they did a temporary fix of our old air conditioner so that we didn't melt during the heat wave. On the day of the repair, everything went smoothly - they kept me informed about progress and cleaned up after themselves. I'll definitely call Green Apple the next time I have a plumbing or HVAC issue!

Deen and Ahmed are amazing! When I phoned, Dean was able to arrange a next-day appointment, with a two-hour arrival window and a promise to phone when he was en route. Right on time, he phoned to say he would be at my house in 1/2 hour, which he was. Our system is an ancient, over 30 year old unit, which, though still blowing cold, needed a full recharge, due to an apparent small pinhole leak that must have been draining the refrigerant slowly but surely. While many companies would have insisted on trying to sell us a new, high end, expensive system, Deen understood that this would be a major expense, and advised us that it was worth running the old system as long as possible after refilling the refrigerant, and that it would likely get us through the summer, which was a huge relief! While we realize it's risky to refill an older system, which could have leaks, and whose leaks could worsen, we are so grateful to Deen for not pressuring us into taking the plunge immediately by purchasing a new system, while our old system was still functioning, leak notwithstanding. While refilling, the unit began to freeze, so Deen let it sit for 20 minutes to allow the freon to settle, before finishing the process. Rather than rushing off to the next job, he patiently waited the necessary time and safely completed the process. When it came time to pay, Deen was kind enough to give us a break on the per pound cost of refrigerant, since we had purchased a full refill's worth, so that the total cost was in our budget range for taking the risk of trying to last another season with our old unit. I very much enjoyed chatting with Deen, who is an extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and pleasant guy, and will most certainly call him when our system is finally ready to be replaced, which may come this season or next. Either way, I appreciate his efforts at saving us from unnecessary spending, and his willingness and support for the gamble of refilling the system one last time, before RF22 refrigerant stops being produced in 2020. If you're looking for an AC service company who will treat you honestly, fairly, and without pressure, Green Apple Mechanical is the place to go.

I called at 7:30, they came by 9:30, we agreed on a price - got a different brand since Smart seems to break every 5 to 6 years (so 2 in ten years), they installed, worked hard, cleaned up and we had showers later in the day. Very pleased with the responsiveness and the owner comes.
