I believe this plumber (John) is over-extended. He was at my house, along with his wife and son, on a Sunday afternoon (Nov. 21, 2021). John installed a water heater in my garage while his son upgraded two toilets (new seals and toilet tank insides). Later, John repaired some faucets and faucet piping outside my house. John left well after dark and told me he had another service call after that. He said he loved doing plumbing. My toilet was leaking after they left. On Monday, the next day, instead of coming to my house and fixing the problem, he sent his son and another man - not sure if either were licensed because I had the same problem (water leaking out of toilet bottom on floor) later in the day after they had left. The next day (Tuesday, Nov. 23), John told me he would come that same day and correct the problem. That 24 days ago without me having a functioning toilet (I did not use my leaking toilet). Since then, John has NEVER called me but his wife, in a text about 2 weeks later, told me that he had been in the hospital and would get back to me when he was cleared to work. I am a senior citizen and do not like texting so I requested no more texts but I did request he call me. Never happened - neither John nor his wife have called since and it has been almost 4 weeks. Two days ago I got another plumber plumber to fix the leaking problem. He told me they did not use a real wax seal (their seal was made of rubber) even though I had requested I wax seal in writing and nobody ever asked if I d be OK with a non-wax seal. As for my water heater, I had requested, ON A PRINTED LIST of what I needed done, a 12-15 year warranty. John did not give me the book that comes with every water heater but promised to give me information on my water heater warranty by email. Never happened. My contract with Coastal Electric and Plumbing (not exactly sure how they relate to Plumbing & More, maybe a DBA) says that I have a 15-year warranty. John gave me no business card and there is no Business address on top of my contract only the name of a company. I asked John who I call if I have a warranty problem and he told me to call him first. I asked what happens if he gets hit by a truck or is not in business and he said my warranty is good through the water heater company. Maybe 1-2 weeks later, I called the water heater company and then learned that my water heater ONLY has a 6-year warranty even though my contract said I was getting a 15-year warranty. They do NOT even have a 15-year warranty for my type of water heater, but they do have a 12-year one. Moreover, the water heater company told me that if my water heater ruptures at any time I have NO warranty for that because JOHN did not install a thermal expansion tank on top of my water heater. I have been trying to discuss all this with John but he has not called me in almost 4 weeks. I believe John is a very knowledgeable plumber. He told me he uses commercial grade parts inside toilet tanks and I had the insides of both tanks replaced. He repaired some faucets and faucet piping outside the house and seemed very competent as to that work. It appears to me that he has helpers who are perhaps working for him without adequate supervision.

I paid $641 for my sewer lines to be cleaned out and for my 2 bathrooms to be cleaned and **unstopped**. A few weeks later, bathrooms stopped up again. Called the plumber only to be told by him that it was the field lines and that it would cost $4200 more. Called another plumber who found out it was not the field line. The sewer line was not completely cleaned out by this plumber. To do that, it cost me another $321.
