Comer Heating and Air

An existing system (20+ years) was replaced. The replacement included a new programmable thermostat, which had an automatic mode. The automatic mode was not showing as an option. I talked to a tech (Kyle) and he walked me thru the process of adding the automatic option to the thermostat. I have used both the heating and cooling of the new system.

I was using a different HVAC company that other people in the. neighborhood used and kept running into issues. Switching to Comer Heating & Air was the BEST decision—especially because of Colt! He always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of. The techs QUICKLY fixed my heat around the time we had an ice storm and I was so thankful for them. The communication is excellent, and I know I can rely on them every time!! Highly recommend Comer Heating & Air—I'll continue recommending them over and over again, esp to my neighbors! :)))

I always receive excellent service from Comer & my technician, Andrew. The company communicates clearly & it’s easy to make an appointment. Andrew has serviced my home three times, and is always on time (sometimes early) for my appointment. He is courteous & I trust his opinion and expertise on what my AC units need. I never feel pressured to buy anything.

We called Comer Heating and Air at 8 am, having come home after an extended trip to find our heat not working. By 8:30, their awesome technician Andrew was at our house and had diagnosed the issue. By 10:30, Andrew was back with the parts he needed and our heat was repaired. I highly recommend Andrew, and Comer Hearing and Air. Fantastic service!

Called Comer on a hot Friday morning with a/c out. Due to weather were booked til Monday afternoon, but put on list for cancellation. Called back before noon Friday and Kyle was at townhouse and done before 1:00pm. Great friendly service. Cool again.

I can’t say enough good things about Comer Heating and Air. We called several local companies to advise us about our 27-year-old HVAC unit. It was beyond repair, hemorrhaging water, and dying as we were days out from leaving for vacation. One company would have been able to replace our unit quickly; however, they wanted us to advance pay, so that was a definite deal breaker. Another company didn’t send us a quote for three weeks and couldn’t have replaced our unit in a timely manner because they were so backed up. We called Comer, and they came to our rescue, and everyone was so nice and helpful from the get go. We selected our unit Friday, and it was installed the following Tuesday. The installers were professional and friendly. Our unit was difficult to remove and resulted in some minor, yet unavoidable damage to our closet frame. Comer stood by their promise to make repairs, which were completed quickly and at our convenience. We love our new American Standard unit and highly recommend Comer Heating and Air.

My heat went out in the winter. I contacted Comer and, to their credit, their serviceman came out that same day. However, he only spent about 30 seconds with the unit, said we needed a new fan motor that “would be expensive” and left. The next day, I got a phone call quoting me $1600. At a friend’s suggestion, I called another service. Their serviceman spent about 30 minutes with our unit carefully examining everything, and told me that we did indeed need the expensive fan unit. I was heartbroken, until I got the “quote” for this expensive unit. It came back with a quote LESS THAN HALF of what these clowns at Comer quoted, and it even included the labor! Comer called me back a few days after the repair and wanted to know if I needed the part. I just gave them something noncommittal about it working now. I really didn’t want to get in an argument about their exorbitant prices over the phone. Today I got a bill for a $100 service call for what amounted to second of labor. I might feel differently had they explained I would be billed for the visit whether I chose to use their service for repair or not, but at no point was I ever told this. Even when I told them that the unit was now running, I was not told I would owe a bill. Therefore, I will NOT be paying it. I highly, highly, highly do NOT recommend anyone use this company. There are other more personable, thorough, and less expensive options from my experience.

During the hottest days in history, my AC completely died… during the Labor Day weekend! Very few companies could work me into their schedule. Devin with Comer returned my call and promptly came to my house. I also corresponded with Nicole at Comer. The company made my situation priority. Mark and Cliff came early the next morning, replaced AC, tested it and had my house cool the same day. I can’t thank this Comer Team enough.

Engaged Comer Heating & Air for yearly preventative maintenance on our two systems. Andrew came out, probably spent close to two hours on two ac units, cleaning, inspecting and checking them out. A true 110%er!

Comer is the absolute best. We have had trouble with our AC unit on and off for a few years and they are so nice, come out same day, are extremely affordable and knowledgeable and don’t try to push products or “fixes” we don’t need. They get it fixed fast and I’m always surprised to pay less than I anticipated. The guys who have shown up are always extremely polite and hardworking. I honestly wouldn’t trust any other company to work on my AC.

I own Cissell Management Co. and have used many HVAC vendors throughout the years to service the units on the properties we manage. Comer has always had a good reputation and is a great company all the way around. They're prompt, honest and their techs are very knowledgeable.

The servicemen came and checked my air units for the season. One unit they had not installed, but they said they would like to check it for me anyway. That is good service. Appreciate their help! I had an air conditioning problem while there were guests in my house and I was on a trip. They came immediately and fixed my problem- at my house in 30 min. Works great now!

Our AC went out on a hot Saturday in July. We called, and Reed was at our house in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, we had to get a new HVAC--old one was 25+ years old. Our installation crew was awesome and professional, and our new AC is great. Highly recommend.

Gone too far downhill. They were great in 2019 when I had a compressor replaced, though they kept pushing their "service plan" garbage. Recently, had a very strange issue causing our AC/heat to go out. It took 5 visits over 2 weeks, lots of $$$, and still never found the issue. Called another company and they fixed it in about 2-3 days.

Eric and the Comer crew installed two package HVAC units and new WiFi connect thermostats in my home. They provided a timely, professional installation and excellent price / value. I highly recommend this company.

We were having heating issues with our unit and called , to our surprise we were told someone would be out within an hour, Devin showed up, found the problem, ordered the part from Memphis, and returned the same day with the part! That is what I call service! Good Company, Good Service, and Good Polite Employees !

We thought we smelled gas in the house. Devin came quickly and thoroughly checked out our furnace. We were relieved to find out that there was no leak. He even checked out our gas logs and made a minor repair. All at no charge. Excellent. We are signing up for their PM program. Thanks!

Showed up for estimate and then showed up again which we thought that the job was going to be done. Then contacted Sam, Nathan and Eric. Many ...too many times trying to get the install taken care of. ( an a.c. pan replacement) No answer then no service for phone and no return call either. The estimate was 300$ then 360$ Which was fine. If they didn't want to do the job...geez just say so. After 12 days of getting the run around We did the install ourselves. And in one hour and for 57$

Devin was great to deal with. Very knowledgeable with HVAC systems! I would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

My heat pump would not stop running. Got to 92 degrees in home. I called Comer and they got back to me quickly. Came out. Solved the problem temporarily. Came back next day with parts and completed the job. I was very happy with the technician, Devin.

Have used this company for furnace replacements, AC installations, tankless water heater, heat pump service and recently a built in humidifier, all for my personal residence. Comer heating and air always exceeds my expectations. Great knowledgeable and polite service every time at a great price! I have and would always recommend this company to anyone in need.
