The install of the geothermal system went fairly smoothly however the cleanup work has still not been completed after nearly 5 months and the insulation work was not installed as promised. This company has no followup process as they have never called me yet they continue to make promises when I call them. I am going to ask the Water-Furnace company (manufacturer of the Geothermal unit) to provide me with another distributor of their product to service my warranty because I simply cannot believe what I am told by Krueger.

Chris was great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time explaining everything to us and worked with us to ensure we got all the discounts and tax credits we were entitled to as well. Geothermal is definitely a more expensive option up front, but we think it will pay off in the future.
Krueger sent a man out that very afternoon. While the problem ended up being something simple, he thoroughly checked out our entire plumbing system to make certain our water supply was safe. He fixed the problem and it has not recurred. On this occasion as on others, Krueger has been prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. We will continue to do business with them in the future.
My wife and I decided to do a complete rehab of, and addition to, a recently purchased '70s ranch house. While the Carrier HVAC system in the house still worked fine, it was 25+ years old and we felt that it made sense to replace the system while the walls and ceilings of the house were opened up. Being an engineer and a former procurement manager for Coca-Cola, I became personally involved in the selection of vendors and equipment for the HVAC and water heating systems. My preference was for a Carrier system but I knew that Carrier had a reputation of being more expensive than other brands and we were trying to control our costs. As an after thought, I decided that I also wanted to look at a ground source heat pump (geothermal) system as an option- knowing that the initial higher equipment costs would be recovered over time due to the much greater efficiency. I identified three local HVAC dealers and sent them bids for the job. Surprisingly, Krueger Mechanical's bid with Geothermal (the only one responding to the Geothermal option), came in at about the same price as Carrier's with a conventional HVAC system. Even more surprising was that they were bidding Bryant equipment which was exactly the same as Carrier branded equipment Carrier was bidding. The installation of the new systems was relatively painless. Krueger worked with me and we discussed duct placement, zones, etc. For the geothermal line sets, we decided to go with horizontal trenching rather than vertical boring. While this ripped up our lawn, it was already ripped up due to a new septic system and lateral lines required as a result of our addition. There was a several week delay in the delivery of the geothermal units. These units were a new design and there was a delay in releasing them by the manufacturer. We were not living in the house at the time and the delay did not affect us. Krueger designed our hot water system. We have a 60 gallon hot water storage tank. Waste heat from one of the geothermal units is used to heat the water in the tank. The tank feeds two Rinnai tankless demand water heaters. Depending on how much hot water is being called for, and how hot the water is in the storage tank, none, one, or both of the Rinnai's will kick in to provide hot water. With three teenagers and a jacuzzi tub in the house, I can claim that we have never run out of hot water even with the dish washer and washing machine going at the same time! We have been very happy with our HVAC and hot water systems installed by Krueger Mechanical. Sure, we have had some hickups along the way, but we have found the folks at Krueger to be personable, timely and responsible with regards to getting service issues resolved. We have also been absolutely thrilled with the cost savings on our electric and gas bills! Zeke Fairbank and Judy Smith, M.D.

Very unprofessional job! They promised to cover our losses, and yet they gave us a bill for payment for the entire contract - despite their many damages THEY caused, and promises to 'make it right'! Now they are threatening to put a lien on my property and not pay for their destruction. Public records also show where others have not been paid by Krueger, and now they are trying to bully money from me! They had one excuse after another, about why they left us with out heat when it was frigid (more than once each for most of an evening), why they left leaky connections and flooded the carpet, why they tripped the power and left no power, why our belongings were stolen from the property, told us we were 'too involved' in making sure they did what they agreed to do, why their measurements were wrong in ordering the correct equipment, why they left trash and didn't clean up, why they didn't have the right equipment etc etc etc Worst experience I have ever had in a remodel/upgrade project!!!
