When I originally called, there was about a week and a half wait because of the heat wave. (They try to deal with emergencies first...that's understandable). The office called me two days before my scheduled appointment to see if my situation was such that I could consider possibly moving my appointment back another day. I was okay with that but not sure that my wife and kids were. When they found out that I had young children in the house, they actually moved me to the top of the list and came out that same afternoon. When they showed up, the issue with my system would require a part which they did not have in stock but they would have it the next day. That's where most companies would have left it but not this one. The repairman started calling around and was able to actually locate what I needed locally. He left, returned with the part in about an hour or two and immediately had me up and running again...much to my family's relief. The repairman also mentioned a service that Tom's offers which is a kind of membership that entitles you to certain things, one of which is a quarterly checkup. The cost was very reasonable (I can't remember the exact amount) but also included other perks. Because of the service that I had already been afforded, I readily agreed and signed up for the membership as well. Then I forgot about it. Some 3 months later I received a call from their office wanting to make an appointment to come out for my first checkup. They arrived as scheduled, spent about 45 minutes checking everything over and, took the time to discuss with me some things that I could do to make sure that I kept my heating and cooling costs where I want them. No charge for these checkups. No nothing. Just one of the benefits of my membership. I had the same repairman on both occasions. I can't recall his name but I know that he wasn't the owner - Tom. (Okay, I'm not sure if there really is a Tom) but nonetheless, this repairman was as good a representative for that company as any owner might hope for. I'm not sure if these memberships still exist or are even being offered but I can tell you that this is one company that from the office personnel to the repair people are really on top of their game. Because I neglected to write this review as soon as I should have, I don't recall the charges for the work that I had done or the membership but I do know that both were considerable under what I had anticipated. My initial service was late July of 2016 and my checkup was late October 2016.

Enron was very friendly & professional, even though it was after 5pm. He had spent the day at technical school then had come into work due the # of service calls because of the heat.

This happened in the middle of the recent hot spell and my house was up in the mid 90s even with the curtains drawn all day. Greg (the repairman) went the extra mile to find the particular piece I needed - coming back to my home 4 different times that day waiting for my unit to thaw out before it could be repaired. It would have probably been a lot easier for them to just say "we'll come back tomorrow" but, knowing I had two small children in the house they did everything possible to make sure we were up and running as soon as possible. I chose Tom's AC based upon their ratings on Angie's List and their solid reviews. The bill was even less than estimated. The entire cost of the repair was under $350.00...actually less than the ball park figure they had given me. The most impressive part about Tom's A/C is that during our present heat wave, they could have probably raise their prices and no one would complain. When you have absolutely no idea about heating and a/c systems, you are totally at the mercy of the company you have doing the work. I can't begin to express how grateful I am to Tom's A/C !!!

I called Tom's on a Friday evening after a "Big Deal" $29 A/C Inspection turned out to be 5 days out and an $80 Diagnostic Fee. Tom's kept me apprised of the service time the next afternoon and Tony arrived and immediately determined the problem with the condenser fan and replaced it with a universal unit that he had available on his truck. He then pressure tested the system and did temperature and performance tests of the entire system to be sure that we were getting good cooling. There was a $100 Saturday Service fee included in the total charge, but it was well worth the price to be up and running in just a couple of hours for my wife who is very heat sensitive and our 3 year old granddaughter. <br />

Tom diagnosed the problem and went over our options. We elected to replace rather than repair. He installed our newuunit within 3 days. Everything is working fine. Very happy. <br />

AC Central air unit was not cooling our home. Tom came out promptly and identified the problem and gave options and cost to fix it. He also took the extra step to pull out a special filter within the unit that had never been changed. The filter would be impossible to find at retail. Tom offered to do some research in finding and ordering the right filter. Air flow improved by 50% as a result, and this was not an issue I even knew existed. He went the extra step, and the cost to me was non-consequential. He could have charged more for his time and trouble on that extra step.

They were very informative to my Wife, explaining what all that needed to be done.good info. about what to expect with the age of our A/C unit.The work was done in a timely fashion.The work that we were charged for was a very fair amount. All in all we were very pleased with this company, would highly recommend them..
