As a Facility Manager for a local hospital, I have been exceptionally pleased with Crosstown Mechanical. We have used them for a lot of our refrigeration needs as well as ice and water machine PMs and repairs. They do a great job communicating, have fair pricing, are very responsive to our needs. Their invoices are very clear, with great descriptions of the problems found including pictures. I highly recommend this team!

DO NOT hire these guys without finding out the costs upfront. They are a bait and switch operation. Spent 6 hours essentially breaking my equipment and sent me a bill for 6k, with a forged signature! Complete hacks, doing google searches the whole time.

This company will not contact you when they figure out problems to make sure the work was done to your liking. No signatures or paperwork when they finish their job on site and no communication at all. Just straight invoice you for $600 for less than an hours worth of work. And then on their emailed invoice have the balls to add “my signature approves of the work and am satisfied with the work that’s been done”. How’s that possible when I’ve never once signed for anything

They charged a truck fee ($60) to me both times to come out ($120 total) and also charge from the time they leave their facility until the time they return - so essentially you get billed twice for the service call. None of this was communicated prior to the actual service. The appointment was at 7am both times. The technician arrived at 7:21am for the appointment the first time and 7:27am the second time. When he was late, I called and I was told "oh he's there, maybe he's just walking around." They want the appointments at 7am. So, both times, I arrived to work early, to sit around and wait. I asked for the second time to be later in the day when I had an opening only to get a return email that the appointment was scheduled for 7am the following Tuesday. Overall, my bill was $732 for them to tell me to defrost my freezer and let it sit for 48hrs before starting it again. All in, about 1-1.5hrs of actual work on their side. As far as I can tell, the work is ok, but they need to be much more transparent about their pricing.

All the techs called before they got here, arrived on-time, did what they said, went the extra mile to help us on a major issue and on a small thing like replacing batteries on our thermostats to ensure our hvac system didn’t have to run hard. The tech’s were clean in appearance! Such wonderful people to work with all the way around! We loved them so much we signed up for their Maintenance Plan & they came out the next day & got us all cleaned up! Honest, hard working, pleasant. Wouldn’t go anyplace else!

Crosstown Mechanical has serviced and maintained the coolers and HVAC systems for 2 restaurants for us for going on 15 years. Consistently have quality technicians and easy communication and billing. They also have 24 hour service available, and while it does obviously cost more, when you have thousands of dollars of food in coolers that can spoil, or ACs break at 8pm on 100 degree days, its a necessity. Would highly recommend.

Tech came out to repair a warranty motor and charged me more in labor to replace than the original repair. Was told it may have taken him longer to get here from a previous job. Makes zero sense. Thank you for getting back to me concerning the labor charge for the issue with the labor bill. I understand the issue much clearer at this point. Thanks for the clarification.

Dear human being, as a personal experience with these people a week ago Oh my gosh Never trust these people and Specially the Technician Jared he is Not honest at all what he does for you, he worked for me for 1 hour and his manager charged me $1059.47 since they had my credit card in their file they charged me with not even let me know, I called them back asked them why what’s this for one hour $1059.47 he said no he went to pick up parts for you that’s why it came to 3 hours it’s your problem you should have parts with you before you do something for me and you know already what you gonna do and told him don’t charge me for that time please but still he said No I said ok even if you charge me for 3 hours so where this big invoice came from what’s this for ??? Long story short never ever trust these people they are just there to still your money that’s all, just wanna let Metro Community know Crosstown Mechanic

The customer service was great, the price was fair and the worksmanship was top notch. If you have a project, I recommend giving Crosstown Mechanical a shot.

I call for some information for my store walkin cooler but the lady who pickup phone she is rude and hang my phone so look like they don’t need no customer bad service they need change that lady look like she don’t want to work
