One of your employees in a white truck displayed unsafe road rage this evening as I was driving home with my baby in the car. They were laying on their horn, tailing way too close, swerving between lanes. This vehicle proceeded to drive like this, and drove directly to the liquor store. I will remember to never call on this company, and I will share this with neighbors and friends. If this is how their employees drive, imagine how they act in your house!

One of your employees had some road rage, honked repeatedly, gave me a certain finger and dangerously rode my rear end. Not a good look for with your company van with your business name across it. Hoping your customers receive friendlier service. (Blaine, MN)

The AC at my business went out in June when it was so hot in the 90s and they sent a great guy named Luke over right away to diagnose and fix the problem. We were all so grateful once the place started cooling down again. Also, Chris was so kind to help us in a speedy manner and help us figure out why our AC was leaking water in the basement. Fast and friendly service

I’ve been using Modern Mechanical as my go to provider for about five years. They just completed my annual furnace check up and explained what was making a strange noise and answered all my questions. I will continue to use them in the future for my HVAC needs. Their employees are professional, polite and well trained.

Fixed amazingly fast. Some wires were accidently disconnected by some contractors, and the electricians couldn't get it to run despite fixing the wires. The Modern Mechanical technician checks it over, realizes the problem ... and flips the resettable fuse in the furnace. Sometimes it takes intuitive problem solving to fix something easily and quickly--wish the electricians figured that out!

It went great once I talked with Jake from Modern Mechanical. He was very honest, upfront and his quote was very reasonable. He was very patient with my questions and very timely in responding. They crews that sis the install was very professional and did a great job. All the paperwork, rebates etc were taken care of by the folks in the office. We couldn't by happier!

Our furnace, AC, and water heater were all 20 years old and rather than keep throwing money in them each year we deciding to take the plunge and replace them all this year. After researching HVAC companies on Angie's List and other sites, I decided to get quotes from four companies and ultimately decided to go with Modern Mechanical which I am glad I did. Jake and his team were outstanding to work with from the initial bid process, to explaining the quote and answering questions, to the final install. Not only that, but the costs were on par or better than the 3 other companies I got quotes from and Modern Mechanical was by far the quickest to get back to me on scheduling the initial quote, coming out to my house to inspect my current system, getting back to me with the final quote, and coming out to install. I would absolutely recommend contacting them if you are looking for a new furnace, AC, and/or water heater!

I contacted them Thursday to repair a leak in the A/C after they had installed a pump last summer to help with drainage.  They actually offered to come out the next day.  But, I had them wait until an early morning appointment so they did not have to suffer through the attic heat.  So we scheduled a Monday morning appointment and they came right out and fixed it.  These guys do a great job and are very responsive to communications.  Everything flowed smoothly without anyone getting all hot and bothered.   You will not have anything to vent about with these people, and they will not give you the freeze out.

Worked really well last year.  Since running it this year, I noticed it is leaking onto the ceiling.  I just sent a message.  I'm sure they will take care of it.

Our HVAC went down last night and upon discovering it we went to Angie's List and went down the list of top providers.  Modern Mechanical was the 1st to actually pick up the phone and we were able to schedule time with a service technician (Chris) later in the afternoon.  At about Noon, Chris contacted us and let us know he could be there early if that worked for our schedule.  It did and he was able to get here two hours ahead of time.  <br /> Chris showed up as promised and was able to diagnose the problem and perform the repairs quickly. <br /> Could not give a higher recommendation based upon my experience with Modern Mechanical today. <br />

Friendly and professional from start to finish.  I got bids from over a dozen companies rated highly by Angie's list and did a lot of research for my heat pump replacement.   Modern Mechanical was not the cheapest but was the best value and quoting experience.  They deserve their rating.  <br /> They took their time to listen to what I needed, make recommendations that would solve my issues, and explain why.   They answered additional questions along the way, providing options and their opinions.  They took the time to properly measure and calculate the tonnage that I needed (no one else did).  They arrived on time, protected my house, took the time to install the equipment correctly and even went beyond the agreed upon job to remove an item that was no longer of use.   <br /> Excellent Job all around.   I have not had the best of luck in Des Moines with home service companies until now.  Save yourself some time and give these guys a call.  <br /> <br />
