My heat went out on a Friday, of course!! Called Arens, amazing staff! Amber that I spoke to on the phone was great! Very informational, answered all of my questions. Had a technician there in a matter of hours before the evening! I cannot say enough about this company, five stars 100% and even called to check on me on Monday after everything was done to make sure everything was running right and I had no more issues whatsoever!

I have a big 3 stall heated garage. Heater stopped working right at the start of winter. Called Arens and they had a technician come over the next day! Service was great, technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. Informed me thoroughly of what he was doing and what the issues with my heater was. The end results were me having to purchase a new heater. Arens went above and beyond with their service. Providing me with space heaters during the wait time of installation. Installation was very professional and done in a timely manner. Beyond satisfied with everything they have done for me and my home. I highly recommend their services. Great customer service and care goes a long way, and they most definitely do their best to provide both!

My furnace went out on the coldest night of winter this year, Arns sent someone out that next day and spent 3 hours replacing and servicing my furnace. My daughter and I are so grateful we had our heat back on that night because our house was at 50 degrees. Thank you for your hard work!

Have been having Arens check my furnace for a couple of years now and the service has always been okay, this year however, Eddie came and it was FANTASTIC! Great customer service, very educated and willing to answer questions. Even showed me some features on my really complicated thermostat. An absolute star! Thank you, Eddie.

Awesome company and even better customer service!

Called Arens for an issue of water leaking from our 8 year old furnace that we purchased from them. A technician came to look at the furnace and told us that a whole new furnace was needed. The technician never once checked the warranty on the furnace, and offered one alternative, but was unsure if that would fix the problem. The furnace was taken apart, leaving us with no heat and no option to get a new furnace for 4 more days. The technician took it apart due to CO2 coming from the furnace, which was false because there no testing for CO2 done. After questioning the technician, he did come back and put the furnace back together. Calls were made to Arens questioning different things about needing a new furnace. During these exchanges we were told that parts could be ordered and a whole new furnace was no longer need. When we called back to tell Arens we were going with a different company, the secretary told us that we wasted her time that day answering all of our questions. The company has lack of knowledgeable technicians and poor customer service from front office staff.

We had a huge problem with our air conditioning system and they came right away to help. It is an old and outdated contraption, but he knew how to handle it. It ended up needing more done and they found a part that is no longer made in hopes it would fit, which it did. They were open and honest about everything which is important to me. It's working because of Aren's and I'm happy!

Always a good choice for something local and reliable

The team install the brand new heat pump and furnace because my old heat pump went out. The guys did a wonderful job installing all the quality equipment! Very friendly and respectful. I would definitely recommend them for anybody. Can’t say enough good things about the company and the people that work there.

I was beyond satisfied with Arens Heating & Cooling. My furnace had failed, of course, in the coldest part of the winter, and I needed a solution quickly. After utilizing a different company to emergency repair the furnace to prevent the pipes from freezing, they condemned my furnace to death and stated it needed to be replaced. I started price comparing from various companies in the area, and Arens Heating and Cooling stopped me dead in my tracks. They made me aware of the warranty options available to me by asking the appropriate questions, and after agreeing to their labor costs alone, they had the parts on the truck the next morning. My furnace was repaired in a very short period of time from point of failure to fully functioning. Unbelievable service and I would recommend them to anyone. Well done Arens Heating and Cooling!

I was absolutely blown away at the service I was given. John went above, and beyond my expectations. I had never received such wonderful service before. He explained everything thoroughly, and helped me learn more than just a thing, or two about my AC unit. This is the kind of service you always hope for, but never actually expect to get. He was so kind, and polite. I know for a fact that the next time I run into an issue, Arens is the only place I'll need to call. Not only are you greeted on the phone with a friendly voice, but you're also given service that hits right out of the ballpark.

Our ac unit stopped working over a long weekend. We called Tuesday morning thinking it was going to take a couple days to get someone out to look at it. Nope. There was someone out within hours. They had to order a part. The next day they came out to take care of us even though they had a big project to work on. I'm overly pleased with their customer service. Keep up the great work guys!

A great company and very helpful

Upon first entering Arens Heating and Cooling, I was immediately greeted by Penny (Arens) and ask how they could help. I described the condition of the current installed system and concerns about it. She asked Steve (Arens) to join the conversation and they discussed the benefits of replacing my HVAC with a new Bryant system. No high pressure sales tactics were used at all. After our lengthy discussion, I scheduled an on site inspection and estimate. I received an estimate via email within 24 hours after the on site inspection followed up by a phone call and a paper copy via US Post Office. I informed Steve I was going to get another estimate and consider my options during a small vacation and would be in touch after my decision. Upon returning home, I visited Arens Heating & Cooling. Were discussed the pricing again and came to an agreement on the Bryant Evolution Series furnace and Air conditioner even though another bid came in lower for a comparable system by another manufacturer. I was scheduled for replacement 8AM the next day. Alex (Arens) and the install crew arrived as scheduled and got to work. The team was very professional. They cleaned up the work area as they proceeded. All of the guys were very patient with me and all of the questions I asked as the work progressed. As they finished up, Alex explained what to expect in the coming days as the electrical is completed by Austin Electric, the inspection by the City, and the follow up by the service techs to check the AC system as the weather gets warmer. I can honestly say that the entire staff at Arens Heating and Cooling are some of the most professional and friendly people I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Excellent service and timely. During the recent heatwave in June, they found time in their busy schedule to replace a 15 yr old unit that had leaked freon the last couple years. Maybe not the cheapest, but got the job done in a quality way.
