Randazzo Heating, Cooling, and Electrical

We had a very disappointing experience with Randazzo Heating & Cooling. A technician came out and claimed a part in our AC unit was broken, quoting us over $700 for the replacement. After the part was installed, the AC still didn’t work. He then said the issue was due to low R22 refrigerant, but also told us that they no longer carry R22 because it's outdated. His solution? Replace the entire unit — at a cost of over $7,000. We end up find someone else to fix the AC. Unfortunately, the $700+ we already paid Randazzo was completely wasted. This experience felt like upselling and misdiagnosis, and we would not recommend this company to anyone looking for honest or competent service.

We bought a mini-split system in spring 2023 and they did the install well, but my wife didn't like the looks of the line-hides in the back or the larger unit on our main floor. They were kind enough to come back two weeks later and uninstall the larger unit and the line-hides. Fantastic customer support, pricing, and workmanship. The people we worked with were Dennis, Daniel, Andree, Grant, Ron, David, Tom, Ian, and others, all super-professional.

I bought a Mitsubishi mini-split system from Randazzo in 2016. For the most part it has performed nearly flawlessly, I did have a couple minor issues they addressed promptly in 2020 and then again this year. At this point enough time had elapsed that it could be determined that what had initially appeared to be a wear issue was actually a materials defect from a sub-supplier going back to the original installation which was well out of warranty by now. Rather than patch a fix doomed to fail in the future Randazzo sent a crew for an entire day and replaced the defective materials and my AC is as good as new at no cost Can't say enough good things about Kendall The Service manager and Earl the technician that made this happen, it's rare to find a company that stands behind their work like this I highly recommend Randazzo

My mother's furnace stopped working during the Christmas cold snap. As she is elderly (mid 80s) and cannot hear the phone well, the first repairmen should have went to the house instead of just calling. I will say the office staff was good at getting another repairman out the next day. However, I do believe the repairman took advantage of an elderly lady in an emergency situation. As the average cost of a draft inducer assembly is $450, (low $199, high $1000) and average installation time is 45 min, which is what it took him (at $95/hr), the cost at max should have been $550.00 or less. As my parents have a midgrade furnace, not economy or top of the line, probably should have been under $500. Randazzo charged $783.00 for this repair. Definitely taking advantage of a senior citizen in a desperate situation. Unfortunately, I do not live close by and could not have helped in this situation. I asked about a senior discount and the repairman said it was only 1%. This is ridiculous. I would not recommend Randazzo based on this experience.

I am a retired HVAC person and I can confirm that they did an awesome job. Everything was up to code , they were very professional, and they even sent out three people to do the job. It was done in a day and a half as there was a lot to do. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

It all went great. They were here when they said they would be. Fully explained what the problem was and what was needed to fix it. They fixed it... now we have heat :) It's all good :)

These guys are top notch and this is the second time I have used them. Randazzo had installed the furnace in my previous house. When I bought a new house and learned that the heat exchanger was cracked, I had them do the installation again. They installed a new furnace and AC and did a great job. Things needed to be installed in a closet so things were tight. A couple of items were flagged by the inspector and Randazzo took care of them immediately.

No problem with installation but had fuses blow couple days later due to loose connections. Passed city inspection and got positive feedback about installation and company.

The gentleman who explained the various options available to me was very professional and patient with all my questions. The installation team were gems. Punctual, professional, efficient and they dealt with all of my special requests without batting an eye. Great team and I would use them again-although I hope I never have to. I highly recommend.

Excellent work! Aaron and his team were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They explained ever aspect of our new HVAC system, and answered whatever questions we had. We are very pleased with our new equipment. Would definitely recommend Randazzo to whomever needs repair or replacement.

It went well. They did have to come back and fix a sleeve in the existing chimney a day or two afterwards, but they were very responsive in taking care of the issue. Everything is working fine and we would definitely use them again. We would highly recommend them.
