Lawrence H&C recently replaced my 90yo Father's furnace. He got a $29 check up from one of the big city companies you see on TV. The furnace had lived it's life and surely needed to be replaced. Shortly after $29 inspection, a "salesman" showed up and was measuring his windows...? They were looking to get a foot in the door, and a fat check on the way out. When he told me how much they quoted him, I suggested he get a second opinion. I've done business with Lawrence H&C in the past and was very satisfied, so I called and explained the situation. They were out to his house within a few hours and confirmed the furnace needed to be replaced. They contacted me later in the day with a quote that was thousands(not hundreds) less than company with 40 trucks and a salesman. The new furnace was installed the next week. He was very happy with their service. He even commented that they extended his chimney pipe higher for him, which was not on the original estimate. The icing on the cake? Our furnace went out the week of New Years and a tech came out on NYE to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately we had to replace our furnace but instead of waiting until Monday, two techs chose to work on their scheduled day off to get a new furnace in for us! They have been amazing to work with and such a professional and knowledgeable company!! Will recommend them to everyone I know!! Thanks for everything!!

We have used Lawrence Heating and Cooling for furnace installation, AC maintenance, and gas fireplace upkeep and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the initial phone call, the office staff was responsive and scheduled an appointment quickly. Andrew, arrived punctually and was extremely knowledgeable but explained our HVAC problems in an easy way to be understood. They provided an upfront, detailed estimate with no hidden fees, which built a lot of trust. We even qualified for a substantial rebate after the installation of our new furnace. Our furnace’s heat exchanger was on its way out and both the furnace and A/C were quite old. We got estimates from a few places, each emphasizing the supper efficient units. One of the estimates came from another company that didn’t even send someone to our house. Two personal friends of mine endorsed checking with Kevin from Lawrence HVAC. He very tactfully helped to lead me to the conclusion that super high efficiency system couldn’t really be leveraged by our older home. These are my words, not his – like I said he was very showing a lot of tact! He was super helpful in navigating this much needed purchase. Kevin knows his stuff and explains all the technical information very clearly. He even showed up on installation day to check on the installers who were awesome as well, clean, tidy, and professional. The new Amana system is much quieter than the old one. We are very happy we went with Lawrence HVAC.

Purchased a home last spring and needed a service/check to make sure everything was up to par. Andrew came out and took time to properly look over everything, very patiently explained the ins and outs of my furnace and ac unit, and gave me tips to keep things running well. Right before the holiday my furnace wasn’t firing up, I panic called the office they took some info and promptly squeezed me in for a service call. Some problems take extra thinking to diagnose, and the years of experience come in handy here. I’ll need a new AC unit soon, and will no doubt be having them back out for that replacement.

Lawrence Heating and Cooling exceeded my expectations! Their prices are very competitive compared to other companies I checked, and the service was outstanding. They were extremely responsive and got back to me quickly whenever I had questions. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for fast, professional, and reasonably priced HVAC services!

Cannot recommend Lawrence Heating and Cooling enough. My ancient furnace finally died on Saturday night, and Andrew got me a quote on Sunday, then came over bright and early on Monday, despite the bad weather. Installation was super fast and the price was better than I could have hoped for.

I cant say enough good about Andrew, Kevin, Carson, and Carter. (and all the others) December 23rd 2025 furnace blower motor gives up the ghost. Early morning call to Lawrence Heating and Cooling gets an immediate response and after a thorough inspection of the furnace ( which is 25 yrs old ) my options were presented to me (replace the blower and other parts at "x" cost or replace the furnace at "x" cost). After choosing to replace Kevin advised me of a program called Michigan Works as a way of saving some money on the new furnace. Until such time as the furnace could be installed, Carson bought over space heaters from the house that we could use to heat the home. During the install of the new furnace, both Carson and Carter worked very quickly and methodically to insure everything was done exact and with very little disruption to a very busy house. the work space was cleaned up after the install such that you would have never known they were there. I will continue to use and recommend Lawrence Heating and Cooling for all my future heating / cooling needs.1

SLOPPY/uNFINISHED WORK- We called them because we had an issue with our furnace The guy they sent us came in did his “diagnosis” “fixed it” had us pay and left. Our furnace went out in the middle of the night so we were left with NO heat. Called them first thing this morning asking for the owner to come out because not only did the furnace go out he left the bad part sitting in our furnace. The Owner couldn’t come out so they sent the same guy that didnt fix it the first time back out. My husband said he rushed around to fix it to rush out the door to start his weekend and left. Now we have a rattling and sounds like the fan blade from the motor is hitting the housing. It is so loud and now we are afraid to run it because it could cause more damage!!!! We are looking elsewhere for a more reputable heating and cooling company and one who is thorough and takes the time to make sure everything is running as it should and not leave old parts in the furnace. I have a call into 2 highly rated heating and cooling companies for furnace and AC replacement for the near future.

These guys did a great job! They worked around a tight schedule, the installers kept a clean workspace, and Andrew was very fair and communicated well. I would definitely recommend them!

Lawrence was one of 3 companies contacted last June for a quote to replace a 24-year-old furnace & air conditioner. The quote was very reasonable so moved forward with the job. The employees were punctual, courteous and did a great job cleaning up after removing the old units. A follow-up quote led to installation of a whole-house humidifier. Andrew and Joni were great to work with!

We got our ac unit replaced a couple years ago by Lawrence Heating and Cooling, they were amazing! This week we needed a new Furnace, they were the first people we called, they are prompt, understanding and got us in right away!

Great job on my new house Kevin! We have a tall vaulted ceiling with loft, very tricky to figure out the airflow. Kevin installed all new system and got it all figured out. It even looks great behind the drywall.
