Lemcool's Heating & Cooling

We have had nothing but top notch experiences with Lemcools! We moved here 6 months ago and had used one of the bigger companies with our first furnace issue, but fortunately, with the second, lemcools was available immediately to look at it. What took the other company 1.5 hours to diagnose took lemcools 5 minutes. And with the extra time, Myles didn’t just leave, he spent time looking at the rest of our heating setup and improving it. Then, on New Years Eve, when our furnace went out again, Mike the owner came out at 8pm! Once again, diagnosed and fixed in under 5 minutes. He and his wife were so kind and calming when we were SO worried. Inevitably, the next day our well pipe pressure thing froze, and we had no reliable plumbers, lemcools got us on the schedule to assess what was going on and even though it’s not their area of focus, knew exactly what we needed and fixed it! Then, as usual, went above and beyond and Myles looked over our furnace and a few others things and gave us the info we needed to get it better insulated in our attic. We are not from this area and they have been a consistent and steady resource for us as we navigate new systems in a new environment. Would 1000% recommend them to anyone in this area - knowledgeable, budget conscious and the kindest and most caring folks you’ll work with! We love them!!!!

As the summers get hotter here in Northern Michigan we realized we needed A/C but kept putting it off due to cost. Then I called Lemcool's. Spoke to Mike and he was friendly, knowledgable, and super easy to talk to. He came out promptly, took a look around our cottage and gave us advice on choices of the units and what might be right for us. He sent me an estimate and a date that he could install, which was them confirmed by wife Renee who was also super friendly and helpful. They installed out unit and Mike himself came out to make sure it was running correctly, and we have been in air-conditioned bliss ever since. This is a top-notch operation and I will recommend them to anyone I know. And when we need a new furnace in a couple years, Lemcool's will be my company. The Lemcool's team works hard to get their customers taken care of and has repeatedly gone above and beyond in their service. It is clear that this team holds a high standard for job completion and executes with the customer's best interest in mind. I called outside of business hours when my heat wasn't working and was reassured that someone would be sent out to take a look. When having my furnace replaced, Mike noticed some of my ductwork was damaged and made sure to replace it vs leaving me to take care of it or not telling me and my home losing heat in the basement. The Lemcool's team creatively solves problems and ensures the customer is prioritized until the job is complete. Renee, Mike, Derek and Miles have all been a pleasure to work with and I will be calling Lemcool's if I need heating & cooling service in the future.

We recently had a new water heater installed by Lemcool’s. Excellent experience. Great, flexible service and quality products. The best heating and cooling company in the area!

Our furnace went out so we called to get a same day appointment and they were able to fit us in! Mike was VERY knowledgeable and explained to us exactly what was wrong. He needed some parts so he went to get those and then came back to finish the job, all in the same day. We appreciate Mike’s efforts!

Lemcools is now my go to HVAC source. They are prompt, reasonable and efficient in their work. Myles did a superior job getting our furnace working until the circuit board could be replaced. Kudos!

In a time where companies can choose to price gouge, take their time, and treat you like they are doing you a favor, Lemcool’s was a breath of fresh air. From the start Mike was fair, friendly and informative. They made time to squeeze a difficult boiler installation in right when winter hit to keep us warm. When it came time to get the job done, Mike and his team were prompt, skilled and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a good hvac service!

The two technicians who worked on our Daikin unit were very skilled and very professional. Even though our unit was as dirty as units you might find in a commercial environment, they stripped it down and completely cleaned every part of it. Now our unit looks like it’s brand new. They did an exceptional job.

Wow!! These folks are great!! We had 90 degree days and our air conditioning went out!! In a panic we called Lemcool’s. Of course they were busy due to the spike in warm weather…and they went out of their way to make sure they came out.. they for there, assessed what was wrong, ordered the new unit, and we were back in business in no time!! Thanks and we highly recommend!! Way to go!!!

The two technicians that replaced the furnace today were great guys. On time, efficient, professional, and did a really nice job. I’d use Lemcools again for sure.

Mike and his team came out to my home in Interlochen and installed a new furnace. I again had them install air conditioning too. I've also called them for my house in Traverse. They are great to work with, fair, honest and very dependable. I would recommend him and his team without question! Mike is my go to guy, I can't say enough good things about Mike! 👍👍

Good news: I hired this company to add & replace some duct work in my basement and they did a great job and were very helpful in explaining what was done. Bad news: This company was hired by the previous owner of my home to fix the gas fireplace and get it working. After 3 months, it's no closer to being fixed and we've given up on them. They are extremely unresponsive and difficult to get ahold of. Granted, this may be outside their area of expertise, but then they shouldn't have agreed to it or let us know this at some point instead of just ignoring calls and pushing it off.

I called a few weeks ago to get a zone valve replaced and do a tune up on our boiler. The receptionist took down my info and said Renee the scheduler will be in touch. Well I’m still waiting!! I have since called another company and it’s already taken care of. You must be so busy you don’t need anymore work.

I had excellent service from Lemcool today. The tech was great - knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs.

I inquired about a service call to recharge our mini split. The receptionist was overall professional, however I decided not to proceed due to some outright condescension about us choosing one of the DIY mini splits. If you've done a self-install on one of the DIY kits, this might not be the right place to call.

I stated my needs to the front desk woman, she said she doesn’t usually work front desk and said she would need to call somebody to setup an appointment. When she called back and I told her I have somebody else swinging by she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I cannot believe a front desk agent or anybody who answers calls can be this unprofessional and rude. I’m a telemarketer who cold calls and I’m never that rude on the phone, I wouldn’t make any money if I was!

This company is great. I have been having an issue with my goodman furnace motherboard quiting and they have been very dedicated in figuring out why there is another issue with it. They are the best!!!

What great service! A small gas leak was detected in our furnace by our gas company and James from Lemcool was here within 1 1/2 hours and found and fixed it within 10 min.

I have recommended Lemcool heating to everyone I know. Very pleasant person and honest. He even gave me a heater from his own home to help heat my home while my furnace was out. Thankful for this kind of business man.
