He did what he said he was going to do. It was not the cheapest guy in town. The tech came out and did a good job of looking at the project before he took it so he had all he needed.

Jet stream mechanical replaced a +25 year old heating and cooling system with a new Carrier system. We opted for the Infinity 98 system and it is very quiet and keeps the house at a much more even temperature. The old unit sounded like a train was in our house and the new one can not be heard. We have not tried the A/C unit yet so can not comment on that. <br /> We had quotes from 4 different companies; 2 Carrier, 1 Bryant, and 1 Lennox. I felt the most comfortable with the person from Jet Stream which is why we selected them. Their price was also competitive with the others. <br /> Installation went well and they took the time to figure out a place to vent the new furnace that would look the best for the house while meeting code. Everything was completed very professionally and they were right on time when they said they would arrive. Quoted a full day to install and it took that long. <br /> One final note. DTE changed the rebate policy between the time I scheduled an install and the time it was actually installed. The amount of the rebate was reduced. Without even asking, Jet Stream sent me a check to cover the difference (they submitted the paperwork to DTE and knew it was going to be less). To me that is great customer service! <br /> I would use them again. <br />

The price included the humidifier filter and they checked the hoses. We haven't had a problem with our furnace conking out and the furnace is 13 years old.
