A few days before Christmas our Biasi boiler quit due to a stuck valve that Biasi no longer supports. Dave patiently helped us navigate this frustrating so well and helped us figure out that a new boiler was our best option. Dave helped us to select a Viessmann model 100-B1KE-120 - excellent boiler. He is an incredibly nice guy and a straight shooter. His communication was excellent throughout. He put in some long hours even on the New Years holiday to get our hot water and heat back up. It’s rare to see this kind of service anymore. Thank you Dave - highly recommend.

I had a Daikin mini split installed about 5 years ago. David was here within a day or two of quoting the work and was here until it was finished. After about 5 years the indoor unit had a warranty issue and was leaking water. I initially had some trouble connecting with anyone but eventually David got back to me and assured me they would get the issue taken care of at no cost to me. They were here the following day to diagnose the problem and after the parts were in, they came and promptly rebuilt the unit to replace the defective part.

Our oil furnace was down to 77% efficiency. I knew how knowledgeable and professional David Aaskov was from the year my daughter and SIL needed a new heating system and I had researched options and contractors for them. David helped them with a new system and my SIL always speaks so highly of him and Viessmann, one of the main brands David uses. So, I called Dave. He came the next day. He discussed all the options with us and we decided to replace our oil burner and go with propane. His estimate came in very quickly and we hired him The work was done in two days and the system is beautiful, quiet and efficient. We also got a new heat pump hot water heater. He removed the oil tank as well. You will be in able, excellent hands if you call David . I highly recommend him.

David and his team have installed multiple systems for me, including a natural gas forced hot water system, a forced hot air unit, and even a heated driveway! I have referred them to clients who have also reported being very happy with their work. These guys are pros, they hustle, and they're just nice guys and therefore pleasant to work with.

I called David on a Tuesday, he came to my home to see what could be done to install a heat pump on Wednesday. I received a quote for the work the same day. Just had a Veissmann combi boiler installed by David Aaskov Inc. to replace our old oil furnace & electric water heater, and we couldn't be happier. David & Dustin are very professional, they bent over backwards to give us everything we were hoping for in a new heating system, and their price was a couple thousand less than all the other estimates that we got . I would recommend them to anyone looking to have heating work done.

Bought a Fujitsu split wall unit several years ago and was very happy with the price, installation and follow-up. For the last 30 have been having some problems with the unit operating. Have left three messages for David Aaskov and have not received a single return call. Not quite sure what has happened with this company - but this treatment is no acceptable. Very disappointed.

Dave and his sons are great! Whenever we need him, his response time is extraordinary. The work he does is consistently well done. I cannot imagine using any other HVAC for me.

i will never use another plumbing company! dustin methodically reviewed the problem, followed through with telephone calls to update me and returned to successfully fix the problem. efficient, experienced, honest, professional, personal and friendly.

Had someone come by to solder a few baseboard heating pipes I had rearranged. He was very helpful and provided a few tips for another project I was undertaking. Would highly recommend.

Dustin and Dave spent a week installing a new system in our house and did a terrific job and were super nice. It was almost sad when they were done!

I knew of David Aaskov from 2016 when I helped my daughter and SIL research heating systems and contractors (see my prior review) when they needed a new propane system. At the end of that review I said I would keep David Aaskov in mind for my own heating needs, and I did. Fast forward to 2023 and our oil burner was 25 years old, down to 77% efficiency and we were pouring good money after bad. I called David. He came over the same day I spoke to him and we discussed all options, including getting rid of oil, converting to propane, and also replacing the hot water heater, which was also 25 years old. His estimate came in in a day and we hired him. I was certain I would have an experienced and knowledgeable contractor with a fair price. David did all the work in 2 days, removed the dirty furnace and the oil tank and replaced it with a sleek, modern, efficient, Viessmann unit and a Bradford 65 gallon heat pump hot water heater, which is also amazing. David works with his son-in-law and the two of them are just great. If you want top notch equipment, put in with a top notch contractor, call David. He also followed up two times to ensure all was working correctly. He is just a superior HVAC professional.

Our daughter, SIL and grandkids live in the next town.  They called around 10 pm in January and told us they were moving in with us due to a propane gas leak in their boiler and the tech said unfortunately they had to buy a new one.  Because they both work, it was not the easiest thing for them to research contractors, types of boilers etc., so I decided to help.  I came across David Aaskov on Efficiency Maine's website and was struck by the number of 5 star reviews he had.  Then I went to Angie's list and also saw his A ratings and one of the reviews had a person who needed a new boiler and his cost was in the $9500.00 range.  I informed my son in law that he should put in a call to this guy.  David was incredibly responsive and at his house the next day.  The quote was in by that evening.  <br /> In the meantime, my SIL called some local HVAC people and he had quotes of $11000.00.  When he asked them how much a Viessmann unit would cost, because that is what David Aaskov was recommending, they all said "add $4000.00 to $5000.00 to our estimate". <br /> My SIL was impressed with David, his knowledge and the boiler he was recommending was top of the line, so he contracted to use his services.  He began on the boiler the next day and was done a day after that.  The unit is beautiful (weird to say that- but it is- sleek, modern, quiet).  The before and after pictures of our SIL's old and new boiler appeared on the Viessmann U.S. Facebook page and are an amazing contrast.   <br /> BTW, the price above is before the $500.00 rebate you can receive in Maine due to buying an energy efficient boiler. <br /> It is always great to find a contractor whose combination of experience, expertise, price and responsiveness are first rate.  We will certainly keep him in mind if the need arises in our home as well. <br />

David et al did a great job. They were here when they said they would be, were neat and easy to work with. We are more than satisfied with the equipment and the installation. <br />
