Called Witkowski Mechanical for a furnace tune-up on our heating system. Technician Zack Allen was on time. He was polite and proceeded to check out the heating system. He cleaned the parts and replaced the oil filter. He then checked to make sure the system was working correctly and efficiently. Cleaned his work area and Thanked us for our business. This company is fantastic from the owner the technicians. Being a licensed realtor and having this company to be able to refer to my clients for all of their HVAC service needs is absolutely invaluable. He shows up when he says he’s gonna show up his honest, fair and reliable, which is extremely hard to come by in this business.

Called Witkowski after countless hours of troubleshooting a lost bedroom zone for my boiler. My house has had multiple additions, and as a result, my heating zones are somewhat complex with numerous retroactively added zones. For two zones in particular, the Taco valves were hidden and for the life of me I could not locate them. Having lost one of the zones, I needed to find the valve. I consider myself fairly handy, but I was at my wits end before calling Witkowski. My tech's name was Zack and he was careful in assessing my system and tracing the pipes and zone wires carefully, before dead ending in the same place I did. He kept looking, and eventually discovered a faux return air duct and low and behold, both zone valves were behind it. He swapped the valve head and my bedroom zone was back in action. I greatly appreciate the patience and thoroughness he showed in identifying the issue. I'll be calling them back in the warmer months to address an aging heat pump in my basement.

What can I say about Witkowski Mechanical? Great company, honest and thorough techs, organized office staff, prompt and reliable...I could go on. I've never had an HVAC technician take as much time to answer my questions as Tyler did when he came out. I was also pleasantly surprised at the service call charge...very reasonable! These guys are amazing. We needed a replacement HVAC system in 2020, got a lot of quotes. A good friend referred Witkowski, they were price competitive but more importantly, super responsive, trust-worthy. Installation was fast and clean. We had a power outage recently and it messed up our cool connected thermostat - that they recommended and we love. We called Witkowski, they were here the next day, early. Again, so progressional, polite, and on top of things. They are checking if the warranty will cover it, no charge at time of service. None of this “$275” minimum service charge stuff on the first call, just a friendly and helpful woman on the phone. There’s always someone who will cost less but service like this is rare and they were far from the most expensive. I can’t recommend these guys strongly enough.

I began receiving system fault notifications from my HVAC unit (Carrier Infinity), so I contacted the company that originally installed it. After a brief inspection, their technician diagnosed the issue as a failed compressor and capacitor. The repair estimate was quite high, primarily due to the cost of the compressor. They also sent a salesperson who tried to sell me an entirely new AC unit, citing the age of the system and the fact that it was out of warranty. A friend recommended I get a second opinion from Witkowski Mechanical, so I gave them a call. Zach came out, thoroughly inspected the system, and resolved the issue in under 20 minutes. It turned out that all I needed was a new capacitor for the condenser. The compressor was perfectly fine. He was courteous, professional, and honest in his assessment. Not only did he fix the problem quickly, but he also saved me thousands of dollars for not having to replace the entire system. I truly appreciate Witkowski Mechanical’s integrity and fair pricing. I highly recommend them if you need services for your AC system.

A/C decided it didn't want to work the night before the hottest days of the year. Had one company come out and without even really assessing the situation chalked it up to us needing a full hvac system replacement (and who has the $$ for that in this economy, lets be real). One of my friends recommended we call her boyfriend's job (Witkowski) for a second opinion. They came out this Monday, and within 5 minutes of listening to me describe the problem and assessing a few things determined it was one of two things. Checked both and determined it was just fan motor we needed. Had one on his truck thankfully, installed it and was gone within 45 minutes. Tech was very nice and professional. Pricing was decent. My only "bad" thing I have to say is communication is a little lacking. Tech was supposed to be at my house between 2pm-4pm, no one had showed up by 5 pm. When I finally did get a response from someone I was told it would be another 30-45 minutes. Cool, no problem. It did end up taking him almost 2 more hours to get to my house, due to accidents on the highway. (7pm). Not a big deal, but honestly wish someone would have touched base about the delays. Will definitely recommend to friends/family, and use their service again though!

This company took my $6k deposit The workers showed up super angry and swearing in the basement. They ‘installed ‘ductwork so poorly that it would fail a building inspection (according to building inspector on site for other inspection.) They did not pull a permit. They did a bait and switch with equipment (what they intended to install was not what we contracted for). It’ll cost me twice as much to rip out the garbage and replace it. They will not return the deposit. We are stuck with NO HVAC all summer. The owners response it nonsense. I pointed out the issues and requested they be fixed on numerous occasions. Nothing happened.

All around excellent experience. Honest professionals that did their best to replace my mother-in-laws unit in record amount time. We have referred them to all of our friends and neighbors.

Just had them replace both my air conditioner and furnace, they were quick to come for the estimate and pricing was very reasonable, scheduling install was also quick. Office staff had clear and timely communication in answering my questions. Will definitely use them again!

These guys are great. I reached out to Witkowski Mechanical when my HVAC condenser started making a louder than normal droning noise. Setting up an appointment online was easy, with the office admin Tressa confirming shortly thereafter submitting my information. The day of my appointment, the HVAC tech Tyler was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave me his honest opinion on the fix, which at the time did not require immediate service from Witkowski. This level of honesty is hard to come by nowadays, and I definitely appreciated it. When the time comes for my HVAC and/or plumbing needing service, the team at Witkowski will be my first call!

Absolutely the best there is in the business! Honest, knowledgeable, prompt and thorough. I have worked in real estate for 15 years and I NEVER use or recommend anyone else. Cannot say enough good things!

I’ve used Witkowski a couple of times and they have been professional and honest. I’m a landlord, and they recently re-serviced an ac that a tenant mentioned wasn’t working properly after a month. The tech, Thomas, came the next day, on time (again), did a thorough diagnosis, fixed the problem and mentioned that a detail was missed by his company’s previous tech. I was impressed: 1. That he would admit his company’s previous mistake (vs making up some new problem), and 2. That there was no charge.

I cannot say enough good things about Zack and his company. Our AC unit went up as soon as we returned from a trip, Zack was on it and had it replaced within 2 days. His team was extremely kind, professional and timely. They didn't leave a mess and were in and out in no time. If you need someone to fix your AC or heating unit- definitely use them. It was a fantastic experience.

If you are in the Baltimore area, I highly recommend Witkowski Mechanical. Too often, specialists and contractors flake out or bail out when work gets complicated. The whole team (Nick, Keith, Zach, Austin, etc.) were with us and handled the installation of our HVAC system and several complications that came up. They were responsive and an awesome value. Space - We live in an old row home so space is tight. Nick designed a plan and selected a system that took advantage of our roof and attic and ended up taking away little to no floor space. The plan was simple and Witkowski was the only company to design a layout that would cause minimal damage and remodeling to our home. Cost - We received quotes for $30,000, $20,000, $15,000. Some of these quotes included the cost of building bulkheads and concealing the ductwork and some did not. Nick did a FRACTION of that for us in his quote. They took off some cost as well when there was some complications. Responsiveness - The job got complicated at a few points. The trunks needed to be wrapped and insulated properly and were not the first time. They immediately took steps to correct the issue. We ended up having to change some of the ductwork because of sweating and this delayed our project but they were always responsive and worked with us until the issue was fixed. Professionalism - Everyone in the company was easy to work with, friendly, and respectful. Even as follow up work needed to get done, never any negative interactions. So, all that said, go with Witkowski. They are a good company and do good work.

In short order they annalize the problem with my system And corrected any other detrimental Defects with the unit . I've worked with quite a few venders in this field .Thomas and John are clearly the most knowledgeable and courteous vendors I have experienced in a long time . From the time I scheduled the appointment with a very pleasant lady Till the technicians finished the job . Everything about Witkowski Mechanical was A+ . Zak and his team, especially Phil and Luke, have been invaluable to us over the last year. They have replaced hot water heaters and serviced and replaced our HVAC units. The team is reliable, punctual and efficient. They are honest with their estimates and steered us through the difficult decisions and offered alternate suggestions if they thought we weren’t making cost effective choices. They are truly genuine people and we highly recommend them!

I coordinated staying home from work with my wife to be at the house to receive a quote on replacing my water heater. The tech came out, we talked through the process, and he said he would get back to me in a few days with a quote for the job. I never received the quote. Instead, I just wasted time at home, away from work, trying to price a job that I eventually got another company to complete. Why go through all of that effort just to not provide a quote on a job as basic as replacing a water heater? Why waste a customer's time like this? Businesses like this deserve to be held accountable for wasting people's time. For reference, the house call was three to four weeks from the time of writing this post.

Witkowski has diagnosed and fixed my heating problem and, more recently, the fact that my a/c was conking out during the hottest part of a summer day. They are courteous, enthusiastic, diligent, thoughtful and great at follow up. I have dealt with many HVAC repair folks over the years and I find Witkowski uniquely impressive. I needed to have my outside A/c unit relocated so that my steps to my basement could be replaced. I couldn't find anyone to do the work for me in a timely manner. I called Zach and he asked me to send him a video of what I needed done. He gave me a fair quote over the phone and held to it. The following Friday his guys were out to my home and did what needed to be done. They were professional and did a terrific job. They also repaired a leak on my unit at no additional cost. I will use them again if the need arises.

We’ve had our HVAC system for 2.5 years now. Aside from the fact that it heats and cools far better than the system that preceded it, my BGE bills are far lower! I expect that Witkowski Mechanical will be our go to for HVAC needs for many decades. Zach is a guy that you feel like you can leave a key under the doormat for. I don’t have any other home service providers that I can say that bout.
