Eric is very knowledgeable and provided us with a variety of boiler options at a very fair price point. Eric and Jesse did the job over four days and easily worked within our schedule. When the work was done the old boiler was gone and the area was cleaned up nicely. They both have a lot of attention to detail and cared about the aesthetic qualities of the job as well as the functional. Unfortunately 3 days later we lost heat on a day we were supposed to leave for a short vacation (and with the outside temperature below 10F!) and Eric and a Jesse came down immediately despite their Saturday schedule with family. The problem was ultimately traced to the failure of our Ecobee smart thermostat which was in no way their fault. I replaced it with a Honeywell Lyric T5 and it’s been running great ever since. These things do happen and the support I received in our hour of need was excellent. Great job overall.

Eric was great. He contacted me right away and scheduled service for the next week. He was able to schedule a day/time which was convenient for me! He was on time, did not have a problem with my dog's enthusiastic greeting, and I felt immediately at ease with him. He was friendly, organized, efficient and knowledgeable, and I trusted his work. He explained everything he did, and why it was necessary. And his was the lowest estimate of four. I will most definitely call him for any future jobs. He was excellent.

Losing your heat in the winter can be a very stressful experience - I’m thankful Eric from ELA was available to help me through the process. As he explained everything that was going to be needed to do the job, I felt comfortable and confident that I was dealing with a man of integrity who takes pride in his work! The attention to detail and improvements he made to the existing setup during the install showed another level of attention to detail. Eric came out promptly when my 15 year old boiler died in the middle of one of the worst storms of the year. I was extremely impressed and grateful as I had already called two other companies who said they were too busy and wouldn't get back to me for at least a week. Eric and his crew were very pleasant and professional, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. In fact, Eric offered alternatives that could help save me money. I have a few rental properties and it's very challenging to find honest contractors. I will keep ELA Mechanical on speed dial!
