JW Heating and AC

Hired to install Mitsubishi A/C system in my condo. On first floor one ductless minisplit unit was installed in my kitchen. As soon as there was a hot day and the unit had to really work it leaked like crazy in my kitchen. The drain hose outside was too long and curling upward at the end so the water was backing up. Left with paint bubbles on damaged wall. On second floor had a ducted system installed in attic. This also leaked excessively, and I had no way of knowing until it came through to bedroom ceiling. Required technicians two trips out to fix the leak. Apparently it wasn’t level up in the attic so wasn’t draining properly. I was promised that my ceiling would be fixed. After repeatedly following up I gave up and did it myself. Most frustrating was the lack of any sort of apology or concern for shoddy workmanship. Mistakes happen, but owning up to them and making it right would go a long way.

He was polite, cleaned up, advised of what we can and should do in the future.

The staff was kind and that’s very important to me especially when you’re coming into my home to render a service. I appreciated getting a picture of Willie before he arrived. He was very polite, knowledgeable of what I wanted done, and thorough. He did an awesome job of installing my sink and faucet .The price was affordable.

Work was fine but they did not do a thorough job of color matching the fixture.

Technician was punctual. Estimate was free. Price was okay. Job completed same day.

Really excellent overall experience. They contacted me immediately even though it was a Saturday. Fast, friendly, very knowledgeable. Chris was our tech for a 19 yr old Trane central AC not working. A couple parts later for a very reasonable fee and we are back running. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES

Central heat and air failed and needed replacement due to age. Spouse suffers severe illness similar to A.L.S. Asked several contractors for iron clad quote. All others had a lesser quality units costing more money and added the infamous; " Additionally, if this or that is needed..." clause. No one would commit. J & W stuck to their bid. When issues presented themselves J & W honored their commitment. Electrician, covered. Restructure attic, covered. They arrived when promised and delivered as promised. I believe they were honestly concerned about the comfort of my disabled spouse. I would recommend J & W as a 5+. Unlike other Jacksonville A.C. contractors I have dealt with in the past, J & W exceeded my expectations.

Tech arrived on time and was professional throughout. AC System needed a total replacement which was explained clearly. A good experience all around.

I tried to get 2 other companies to come out the same day but one was 3 days later and one was 5 days later for available appointments. I went to Home Advisor and J & W respond within 10 minutes. They were polite and very efficient. Chris quickly located the potential problems and found and installed the parts to make my aging system work. I had feared the worst but thanks to his expertise I am cool and happy to be spared the cost of replacement. Thank you Chris, Mike and J & W Heating & Air.

I have no complaints. They came immediately after I called them, they found the problem, and they cleaned up really well! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a good HVAC professional.
