6-20-25 Time for my 6 month AC check-up today. Kyle arrived right on time and went right to work doing a maintenance checkup. He did a thorough job outside and cleaned the compressor coil. Checked everything in the attic and blew out the drain line. The system is in good condition. Kyle was very knowledgeable and explained the condition of the parts to me. It's the 2nd visit for him, 6 months ago and today. A very professional and courteous service tech. 5 stars. 2-18-25 Had shower leaking behind wall. Stuart came and had to cut a hole in the wall to get in and fix the leak. Took Scott only 1/2 to open and fix the leak. It had been leaking for a while and was wet and moldy inside. Scott explained what needs to be done to clean up the moldy sheet rock in the wall and Stuart referred me to a contractor that can assess and clean the mold and close the wall. Waiting for the sheet to k guy now, he's on his way. Thank you, Stuart. You always come thru. 4-29-2024 Our central a/c died and we needed a new unit. I called Stuart Services because they have done very good work for us in the past. I called for an estimate and they sent Matthew over the same afternoon. Matthew arrived and I explained the problem. He did a very thorough inspection of all the components, inside and outside. It took about 30 minutes. Matthew explained his findings in detail, and gave us 3 options to consider for repair. He saw no issues for the heating portion, but showed me pictures he just took in the attic. It's a 15 year old unit and was used up. Matthew inspected the compressor/condenser outside and showed me the problems there. One electrical component was burned out like it took a surge from a lightening strike. I discussed the options with Matthew and decided on the option we wanted. The Stuart team showed up first thing next morning (7:30am) and began removing the old unit and installing the new unit. The two guys that worked on the AC unit were very professional and answered all my questions and kept me informed throughout the process. They told me the plumber was on the way to replace the drip tray and pipes in the attic. I was very glad to see the plumber was Abbie, who had done work for us in the past. Very good plumber and very easy to work with. The team of 3 had my new unit installed, tested and running by 11:30, am!! They cleaned the area's up completely and hauled off the old parts. And they did it for about 30% less than the other estimates we had gotten. I only had to miss 1/2 a day of work and my new AC works GREAT !! Thanks, Stuart, Matthew, Abbie and Team !! I showed Abbie to the leaking kitchen sink and she quickly identified the problem. Abbie gathered the necessary tools and replaced the leaky faucet, tested it to ensure no more leaking, and cleaned up. Abbie was very pleasant and very informative about the repair work and told me what to look out for in the future. Very good experience with Stuart Services, every time I use them.
