Our heat went out this morning and I called Johnson Mechanical. I described the problem and Nick knew exactly what was happening. He was able to come out this afternoon and take care of quickly. I really appreciate the prompt response, professional service and very friendly service. I highly recommend Johnson Mechanical and know they will be the primary company I will go to for my HVAC system. Thank you again Nick!

The warranty company sent a technician out to replace the blower motor in ac unit. Not only did they put the wrong motor in which we were unaware of at the time, it wasn't even the right size or the brand that it needed. They cut wires to hook it up so it would work. And now we have to replace our entire unit because they cut wires that were not supposed to be cut.So we can't even put the correct motor in it., do now the entire system has to be replaced because of them.

Absolutely incredible service at an unbeatable price. Went above and beyond to get my old, behemoth furnace and outdated AC removed and replaced with efficient units at a great price. Will be the only HVAC company I depend on from here on out. Highly, highly, highly suggest their services to anyone.

Johnson Mechanical quickly returned my call when I was in serious need of a cooling system repair. Our unit had been vandalized and we were really concerned about having the unit repaired. We worried about being taken advantage of or overcharged, but calling Johnson Mechanical was the best choice we have made with regards to HVAC needs. Nick, the owner, provided fast, efficient, professional, and knowledgeable service at a price that was much easier on our finances than we had imagined. I was referred to Nick when my AC suddenly stopped cooling and the house reached 95 degrees. My sisters home heater had been working on and off causing her home to be get super cold during the winters. Honestly we desperately needed it to get fixed and I came across Johnson Mechanical on our neighborhood app. He messaged me and He came to our home the next day and fixed the issue quickly for us . We are not doing well financially but this man fixed it for us and I can’t thank him enough! He’s nice and very professional. I 1000000000% recommend him for all your heating and air conditioning needs. Seriously, contact him right away . Don’t waste your time with these big companies that only care about your money. Nick was amazing. We had contacted a company who wanted to charge us nearly $5000 to fix 2 parts or $6-7000 for a new unit entirely. Nick not only got us a new unit but for less than the previous company wanted to charge us for just 2 parts. Nick was very transparent and will be my go to from now on.

Nick did a fantastic job installing our new HVAC system. Cleaned everything up, hauled all of the old system away, and provided great service.

Would highly recommend calling Johnson Mechanical for any HVAC needs. Needed my furnace checked out to make sure it would be ready for the winter and Nick for Johnson Mechanical was able to come out the next morning to check it out. He also gave me a second opinion on the cleanliness of my ducts after i felt like another company was taking advantage of me and referred me to a great duct cleaning company. The upfront honesty and work performed was great and will definitely use them for all of my HVAC needs going forward.

I highly recommend Johnson Mechanical for HVAC work. I initially had a big box company come out and look at my units and was told they both needed to be replaced, and there was no other option. Nick came out and took a look and was able to diagnose and repair both units for a fraction of the cost. By far the most honest and respectful contractors I have hired and would recommend his services to anyone.

Our AC went out on a Saturday and Nick was at our house in LESS than an hour!! Very affordable and even checked in the following morning to follow up. Our AC is not only working again, but is cooling better than it was before. Will definitely recommend him moving forward! Thank you Nick!

Nick, the owner, was referred to me through my home warranty, and this has been a terrible experience. He didn’t repair anything because he couldn’t find the cause and told me to contact him directly if it happened again. When temperatures dropped to freezing yesterday, the HVAC stopped working again. I reached out, and he initially said he’d check his schedule and let me know, but he never showed up and has completely stopped replying to my messages. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend. Update: Your lengthy response here doesn’t justify not replying to my messages. It only takes a moment to say, 'Sorry, I can't make it.' You knew the issue was intermittent and weather-dependent. My warranty sent another company who came under similar conditions, found the problem, and fixed the spark in just five minutes. I haven’t had an issue since.

One of the best experiences i have had with HVAC repair technicians. Very professional and friendly on every occurrence. They are very responsive when you call or text, very informative in their profession. We had an issue with the installed furnace not reaching the desired temperature i let Johnson Mechanical know and they were out the next morning and was able to have the issue resolved in 30 minutes. I will not be using anyone else for HVAC questions or concerns in the future, they are wonderful to work with.

The compressor in our HVAC system needed replaced. We were referred to Johnson Mechanical by our homeowners insurance. Nicholas was super nice the entire process, explained everything that needed done and next steps, and worked with our insurance to get everything fixed and figured out. Definetly will return if we have any other issues!

Nick was a wonderful rescue to our new home! When our heating system decided to start going out in the middle of the cold, he made time in his busy schedule to help us that day. He was very professional and honest with us, extremely nice and well mannered. He called to keep us updated in acquiring the needed parts, made sure we saw all repairs being made. All around the best experience we’ve had service-wise. He will be my go to with all future heating and AC maintenance, for sure! 😊

Nick Johnson, Johnson Mechanical was assigned my claim from First American Home Warranty in early May. He came to my home on May 23rd and determined that my A/C unit would have to be replaced. The warranty company ordered the equipment on May 26th and the equipment was available for pick up June 3rd in Louisville. Nick scheduled me for installation on June 23rd. He did not show, call or text that he would not be here. He then rescheduled my installation for today, July 1st. He has not shown up, called or texted any updates. This is the 2nd time I have taken off work for my installation. I called the warranty company and they reached out to the supplier who then informed them that the order for my equipment had been canceled due to not being picked up. To say this is BAD BUSINESS is an understatement!!! I will NEVER use this company nor will I refer this company to anyone!!! Did I mention that my air conditioner has been out for 7 weeks!!! This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Would highly recommend Nick for any HVAC services. Was very competitive on quoting out replacement for new Furnace/AC. Communicated very well as the install went along and didn't leave til everything was cleaned up and looking great. Very professional...courteous and honest which is hard to find with HVAC companies. Excellent company!

I use Nick on all of my properties and deal with him on nearly a daily basis. To say he runs a good company is an understatement. He is punctual, fairly priced, and as honest as they come. I have hired hvac contractors before and caught them lying but when Nick shows up he does everything he can to complete the job properly and as cost efficient as possible and is all ways detailed in explaining his diagnosis. If I could give Johnson mechanical 10 stars I would. Highly recommended.

When my heating unit went out last night, my home warranty said they couldn’t get me an appointment until Monday…until I called them back and got the number from Johnson’s. After leaving a message and texting, Nick came out in between installs ON A SATURDAY and fixed it. I’m grateful for Nick and will definitely use him in the future.

Arriving to work this morning to discover we have no heat, nor does our sister office next door. Both offices are sitting at 60° and getting colder. Have I mentioned these are both doctor's offices, one being pediatric who have a full schedule of seeing patients with school being out (today being a federal holiday and all) I called Nick and explained our situation. He showed up within 20min of my call, diagnosed the issue, had to leave to get parts, was back, issue fixed and everything back together within 2hrs. He definitely saved the day today for employees and patients both. Also, the price was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone needing help with heat/air, and will certainly use him again for any future needs.

I reached out to Nicholas Johnson regarding my AC unit not working properly on the hottest day of the 2022 Summer he was able to come the following morning as it was late when I called he came at the schedule time and was able to assess the situation. He was able to obtain the parts I needed and fixed my AC unit the following day for a reasonable price.
