They were very prompt and they did an excellent job. There were two people here doing the work.

The Westerhouse employee showed up on time and replaced our humidifer (an old one!) as agreed. He also replaced a furnace filter (he said the old one looked "kinda dirty" and we had the new one sitting down there so why not?) Done before noon. <br /> <br />

Very very pleased with their work and the cost of the project. Would highly recommend them to any one who is looking for new ac and heater. <br />

We asked several good companies for competitive bids after a lengthy qualification process in which we asked builders and real estate owners for references based on reputation, quality of work, and product lines represented. Westerhaus was competitive, their reputation excellent, they had been in business for extensive experience, and they had good product. Mike Westerhaus was a pleasure to work with during the initial bid and post-bid planning process. Our initial objective was to replace the 35 year old HVAC for the house, but we decided post-bid to upgrade the HVAC to provide for the future addition of a basement apartment with separate temperature and air-flow controls. Mike's original proposal was for a more modest HVAC system, but Mike was cost-conscious and was a good adviser on how to provide for the future addition at a fair price. He was very helpful and went to extra effort to ensure and provide certification that total HVAC system qualified for federal tax incentives. <br /> As noted elsewhere, Westerhause did the installation on-time, in a timely, professional manner, and have returned when needed to add an additional basement register, and to charge and connect the A/C in the Spring after the end of cold weather. The entire HVAC system has performed flawlessly and in following Mike's recommendations we have a much more comfortable house. In addition, with this high-efficiency system the total gas and electric consumption has been reduced by nearly one-third. <br />

Westerhouse is highly apical and he is a man of his word. He does excellent work. One time, one of the valves in the air-conditioner froze and he was out, "my mistake and I'll fix it".

Their price is moderate for the industry. They are knowledgeable and respectful.

I didn't go through Angie's List because my computer is down. They came right out, and diagnosed to see if it was just the pilot light and said that our 24 year old furnace was rusted out and we had to buy a new one. They came back two days later and put it in, and everything is working just fine. They sent a little note a couple of days after it was installed to thank us for our business.

Courteous and professional. Did great job.
