My Trane heat pump was installed in 2008. Over the years, dirt around the outdoor unit had washed away to the point the base the outdoor unit sits on was unstable. When I contacted Brewer Heating and Cooling, they listened to my concerns, and quoted a price to replace and level the pad. A technician called in the time window to give an update on when they would arrive. They quickly completed the work and made sure it was level, and that I was satisfied. The price was what was quoted - no suprises. It has been refreshing dealing with Brewer Heating and Cooling. From my experience, the impression of them is they are a company with uncommon integrity. They listen to you. If it makes sense to repair your unit, vs replace, they will give that option vs. just condemn equipment. No high pressure sales tactics. Honest in what they tell you. They did a very good job installing my system, not taking shortcuts in the proper procedures. Since installed in 2008, my unit had one minor component failure; replaced under warranty. I monitor the performance, it is still as good as the day it was installed. That is evidence of a good job in the installation.

It was a wonderful experience! I was told by another company I needed new heat pump or get an expensive repair. He gave me an estimate for new heat pump. I called Brewer to get second opinion. Jay came and looked it over and told me my choices. He also priced a new heat pump and his price was much better than the other company. Jay was very nice and easy to deal with. He did not pressure me at all and answered all my questions. I called him the next day to tell him I was ready to purchase. Soon after, he e-mailed me the quote we had discussed when he came to my home, and it was all just as it should be. I had a date in mind that would work best for me for the install and he accommodated. On the morning of install, Nate called to tell me they were on the way. He and Landon got there as promised and got to work immediately. They were focused and professional and easy to deal with. It all went very well. I could not be happier with Brewer Heating and Cooling. I feel like I have friends in the heating cooling business who will answer the phones 24/7 if I have an emergency. Also, the woman who answers the phone is very nice. I wish I'd found Brewer sooner. They are great!

Although they do not list Mooresville on their website as a service area, we are in Mooresville and have used Brewer H&C for years for a new furnace, AC, and now the water heater. We noticed one evening around 6:30 that there was water all over our laundry room floor. We determined quickly it was coming from out water heater (8 years old). I called Brewer's number and was given an after-hours number to call - one of the techs. He was able to check the schedule and said they would have someone out to our house the next day. At 7:30 the next morning, MariBeth called and their tech, Derrick, arrived by late morning. MariBeth said that they happened to have a new 50 gallon water heater (ours was a 40) that had a dent in it from shipping and if we didn't mind that, we could have for $100 less than the 40 gallon, so we took it. Installation of a Bradford White heater went smoothly.

This is the third time I have used Brewer for my annual heating and cooling checkup. Josh was our technician this time. All three technicians we have had were all professional, polite and honest about the condition of our system. We have been very happy with their services.

I used Brewer Heating and Cooling for my most recent HVAC service this past year in my newly constructed home. From the scheduler to the service tech, they are always responsive and professional. I also appreciate that they always give you a heads up call to let you know when they're on their way.

They have always been conscientious, punctual, done the work that needed be done, and reasonably priced.

They have done a fine job. They have worked for us as long as we have the house. I have worked with them for a lot of years. We have had for 20 years. We have not had any problems with any of it other than one time we had some power outage. Something did not go back on and they responded immediately to come and fix it to turn it back on.

They arrived when they said they would, assessed the situation and got the part under warranty even though the previous contractor had not registered it.

Called at 7:30 a.m. and service rep was there by 8:30 a.m. Had problem diagnosed and fixed within one hour. Needed replacement of sensor/safety part.

They have always been professional and helpful. <br /> I became a loyal customer for life several years ago, after the owner took time out of Christmas shopping for his kids on Christmas Eve night to fix my furnace, which wasn't working properly. He only charged for the piece he had to replace, not his labor. <br /> They don't try to sell me things I don't need. This time I told them we would be moving soon. They said I probably didn't need the insulation on the air conditioner this year, but I chose it since we're putting the house up for sale. <br />

I had a wonderful experience and Isaac Brewer is one of the nicest men you will ever meet! They made sure everything was operating correctly before they would leave.

I purchased a Trane gas furnace and AC/Heat Pump system from Brewer in 2010.  In 2014, the A/C unit developed a refrigerant leak.  Brewer came out to repair the system, and the culprit was a hairline fracture on the refrigerant line exiting the condenser.  Trane would not honor the warranty as it was not a moving part, but Isaac Brewer (the owner) felt it was a manufacturing defect and went to bat with Trane on our behalf.  Isaac repaired the line and secured a fair resolution with Trane on our behalf.  <br /> This summer, the AC unit again lost refrigerant.  Isaac came out personally at 7pm (in the rain) to diagnose and repair the leak.  He found that under extreme pressure (more than 600psi) the repair had developed a very small leak over time.  Isaac repaired and replaced the refrigerant at NO COST--nearly $700 in refrigerant and labor. <br /> I could not be happier with Brewer Heating & Cooling.  They provide great quality work at a fair price, with excellent communication.  Best of all, they stand behind their work with top-notch customer service.  If everyone provided customer service like Brewer, there would be no need for Angie's List.  I would recommend them without hesitation or caveat. <br />

They are a straight “A’s”.  I have no problems with them.  They did a good job and I am quite satisfied with the new system that is saving me money, I think my electric bill has gone down.

Imet with Jay Buckles who fit his schedule around mine and met with me on a weekday evening after I got home from work. Jay was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and above all a clean cut down to earth normal guy who won my trust in the first 10 minutes of meeting him.  <br /> I was given options with different pricing. Each units features pros and cons were described as about as easy as they could for someone like me who doesn't know much about HVAC systems. The crew went under my house and checked, tightened any loose duct work. The heat in my house is a night and day difference now!! The air blows hard and is hot!!!! Can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait to see my first power bill to see the difference this new efficient system will be saving me in the long run.  <br /> Everyone knows the quality and reliability of a Trane unit but remember the unit is only good as the guy/company who installs it. Brewer is who you want installing your HVAC system. Don't try to save a few hundred dollars with a lesser quality unit or someone who says they'll match the price because you'll pay for it in the long run. <br />

Our HVAC unit broke a couple days ago. Trying to find time to have someone come look at it, I called Brewer after my dad recommended them. They said they would be there within a couple of hours, but showed up within a half hour. The technician, Derrick, did a great job diagnosing our problem, letting us know it's a fairly common part replacement, and took care of the issue within the same visit. We saw an instant change in our temperature. Derrick also answered our questions about our heating system not being efficient as well as noticing another small issue with our vent. Brewer Heating and Cooling went above and beyond my expectations. Derrick was honest and extremely helpful. We will definitely be using this company again in the future.
