We had the ERV system installed on our 15-year old 3,000SqFt home, and we have a long haired dog. Within about six hours we began noticing a freshness in the air we were breathing, the cooking smells from dinner never made it to the living room, and were gone by the time we sat down for dinner. Overnight, my nose was clear and the sniffles gone: wow. Oh, the exhaust fans over the cooktop and in the bathrooms seem to work easier. In short, we are sorry we waited so long to have this done. Bill and Seth are outstanding journeymen HVAC experts. Standard has been a trusted supplier for many years.

A+ experience from our first phone call to finished installation. We found our air conditioner stopped on Monday. Standard was out to assess the fix Tuesday. They quoted a great price on Wednesday and by Thursday night we had a brand new efficiency air conditioner. They were kind, punctual, knowledgeable and thorough. We are grateful a stressful situation was made easier by choosing Standard.

They not only fixed our furnace problem it ended with some of the best customer service I have ever had. Highly recommend and I would use them again.

We had a great experience with Standard Heating & Cooling. They were able to send out a technician as soon as I contacted them! Curtis (the technician) was very friendly and helpful. He explained to me what was wrong and how the air conditioner pump should work! We are very pleased with our services and will be using Standard again in the future.

Miranda was my service tech, made the repair quickly and efficiently and followed up with me later in the day to ensure my air conditioner was continuing to function to my satisfaction. These guys did a great job replacing both A/C and furnace. Pricing was upfront and Alex was very patient with me while I figured out some whole-house filtration options with him. Work was started sooner than anticipated and the guys knocked both projects out in 1 day.

My AC unit went out on a Thursday, and by the time I realized it, it was after shop hours (which I didn't realize). I called the number, and left a message, expecting to be called back the next morning. I got a call back, not 20 minutes later, and the guy I spoke to was very nice and offered to send someone out that night. I figured I could manage until business hours, so I called back the next morning. Apparently everyone knows that they're good, so they were too booked to be able to schedule me in for the normal business hours/rate, but offered for that evening. I had a concert to go to, but they offered to send out a technician (Vic, he was fantastic) the next morning. When he arrived and heard what was happening with the unit, he said he figured it was the capacitor, and a few minutes later, he returned from looking at it, and it was. He made a quick run to the supply house, and came back and fixed it, and also cleaned out the unit to run better (he asked permission before doing this), and ran some checks on the vents and things to make sure everything was working well. He also figured out a good solution for my furnace filter, which isn't a standard size and placement (thank you Vic!). For all of this, the total came to $308 (that included labor, overtime on a Saturday morning, the part, and the expertise and new filter for the furnace, which will keep things better in the future), which I thought was very reasonable. I'll definitely call Standard again in the future if something goes wrong!

I couldn't be happier with Standard. They are our "go to" place for heating and air conditioning. We had a storm and it caused issues with our air conditioning. They came out the SAME DAY and Dan knew right off what was wrong. It was fixed it about 5 minutes but he stuck around 10 more minutes or so, to make sure things were okay. We have had them out to our businesses too for cleaning and what not. They are so pleasant when I call and the techs really know their stuff. Highly recommend!

Our pipes burst in very cold weather and flooded the furnace in the basement. They showed up within an hour of us calling (on a weekend evening). The tech had it repaired and back up and running within 2 hours. They did a great job. We were very happy with the service and relieved to not leave our house unheated for 2 days in subzero temps.

I hired the Standard team to install a mini split system in my house. I was very impressed with the work done. Roy (service guy) did an awesome job cleaning up and providing training on the unit before departing. Alex in the office was very professional and even scheduled a follow up walkthrough to ensure everything was working well. I would highly recommend SHC for all residential and commercial projects.

My a/c went out during the hottest week of the summer and they were able to help me right away. The problem was quickly located and the part was replaced within minutes. The HVAC technician, Roy, who assisted me was especially knowledgeable and helpful. Roy took the time to explain to me what broke and common issues that I can look for going forward. Will be using Standard again for any heating and cooling services!

My furnace had shut off and I was freezing. I had tried to call another contractor, but they were unresponsive. Once I called Standard, they told me they'd send someone out right away. I think from the time I placed the call to the time my furnace was back up and running was under one hour. Tyler was really knowledgeable and left me with a better overall understanding of how my furnace works. I would definitely recommend this business!!

Once again I am impressed by this company and their team of people. We have used them on several different occasions and 1) they always answer the phone no matter what time or day I've called. It allows us to make a plan in sometimes urgent situations. 2) They listen to what is being said. Then explain things in an easy to understand way. 3) Their work is top quality and if something happens to go wrong, they make it right, promptly. This is what I look for in a local, small business.

On Christmas Eve, my furnace stopped working. They wasted NO time getting here. Their technician, Don, got it going in no time at all. On Christmas morning, it stopped again, Don was back here at 8am. On Christmas morning and had it going again. I've had no issues since then. They were extremely reasonably priced, even on a holiday and I will never use anyone else. Thank you, Standard Heating & Cooling.

I've been using Standard Heating and Cooling in Peoria for years. They have always been an outstanding HVAC company to work with. I have used them for my home needs and also my commercial building. They are my contractors for a total remodel of a 3500 ft building. Roy was my tech today in my home and gave me some great feedback on how to work the system more efficiently and to extend the life of it. I have also been working with Brit, the new owner, and am truly impressed with his professionalism. As a female acting as a my own general contractor on my project, he has treated me not only with respect, but has guided me with advice to make informed decisions in my very expensive project. These guys have been doing it right since 1939.

Our air conditioning went out on a Sunday afternoon. I called, and they sent someone out within an hour. He called me to ask me to do a couple of things so that if it was frozen, it would unfreeze before he arrived, saving time (and me money). It turned out to be the capacitor. He was polite, helpful, and explained everything he was doing. He finished within half an hour. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and will use them again!

Dan came out repaired several things that were faulty on my furnace and air units. He was thorough, put on booties when he entered our home, explained the work he was doing and now our system is running better then ever. Thanks Dan

In the midst of the snowstorm with over 7 inches of snow on the ground, my furnace was not heating my house. My house dropped to 58 degrees. I called everywhere around and finally called Standard Heating and Cooling. They were very understanding and had workers on standby to help. The worker so graciously trucked through the snow and fixed my furnace very promptly. I will definitely be calling Standard Heating and Cooling if I ever have issues in the future. I highly recommend!!!

Great service. We called with a service issue and they were here the next day. Don, our technician was friendly and super helpful. He even helped program the new thermostat after doing the unit repair. I highly recommend their services.

The air conditioning unit in our home quit working on a Sunday evening in the middle of a heat advisory. I made a phone call to standard heating & air Monday morning. I fully expected every hvac company to be booked since it was the hottest week of the year. Although they were extremely booked, Brit made time to get a technician to the house Monday afternoon and since the unit was 15 years old I asked him if he could install a new unit. To my suprise Brooke called from the office and set me up an appointment the very next morning and the technician had the job completed by 3pm that day. He was very professional and the quality of the install, and product would be rated 10 out of 10! I know we will always rely on Standard heating for all hvac needs in the future 🙌.

Want to shout out to "Standard Heating and Cooling" I called yesterday that my central air was not working. They arrived this morning and within an hour and a couple of new parts, my central air was up and running. Literally just under an hour from pulling into my driveway to fixed!

I've had my new furnace for about two weeks. I was smelling gas so I called Ameren. Come to find out standard did not tighten the pipes or perform a seep test to ensure no leaks. Plus a knob was broken and they didn't bother to replace it. They also scratched my hard wood floors getting my old furnace out. Not sure if I would recommend.
