I have never dealt with a more communicative, responsive and dedicated company. I had been trying to find a good contractor for years. My furnace had been inoperable for three years until, thank goodness, I found Heartland heating. Due to my past experiences with contractors I was apprehensive and did not know what to expect, but Ben Hadley and his team of technicians made sure that I was taken care of. Heartland made sure that the job was done correctly, returning to ensure that the installation was up to standard, which gave me extraordinary peace of mind. They also checked in regularly to make sure that the system was working properly after installation, especially in this cold weather we are having with the snow in January. My house is well over 100 years old, not insulated at all, and the system that they replaced was not cutting it even before it stopped working. The system they installed was not only affordable, but works beyond any dreams I had. I’m very thankful that they had finance options available as well, and did not oversell anything to keep me within my preferred budget. As long as Heartland Heating is in business, I will recommend them to all.

I really wanted to love this company. We had a plumbing issue and they sent someone the next day. So that was nice, unfortunately he was almost 2 hours late with no communication from anyone about where he was. He was a very nice guy got straight to it and found the problem. I believe his name was Doug very sweet man. Quoted us $2,000 for the job that needed to be done. So the company sent another operator who was an hour early and he told us it would be $14,000. Yes, you read that right, $14,000. After futher investigation we only needed the part of the pipe changed that the first plumber had stated. But somehow the $2,000 went to $3,000 when he only did what the first plumber had said needed to be fixed. It was very stressful and confusing working with this company and communication is not the best. Overall I believe if communication was better and pricing was consistent and they would have actually arrived on time it would have been a better experience. But to go from $2,000 to $14,000 then to $3,000 is crazy. When he fixed what the first plumber told us but charged us more didnt really make sense to me.

What started as a hopeful quick repair, turned into a complete replacement installation for my old furnace. Everyone involved was professional and friendly, plus the work was fast and have had no issues since. I highly recommend Heartland if you want the job done right the first time.

After experiencing a sewer clog I called Heartland. I was fortunate that they were able to get someone out the next day. Great experience with the dispatcher and then with their technician, Josh. I was taken care of quickly and.professionally. They also had very fair pricing. Highly recommend!

I had been scheduling maintenance service to my AC units for a couple of years. The process is very easy from calling and setting up the date and time. Recently one of my AC units had to be replaced. Ben guided me through the process which was completely new to me. I am very pleased with the new unit. I am also very grateful for the Team members at Heartland who come to my rescue when I call, especially those calls on the weekends!

The air conditioning went out in the basement of the Cambria Baptist Church. Ben came out and gave us a reasonable quote and explained to us everything that needed to be done. The crew came out and replaced the inside and outside units, line set, power line and disconnect, filter, and thermostat. The work was completed by mid-afternoon. The crew that did the installation was very good and walked us through what we needed to know for the new air conditioning. Later, Ben checked to see how things were going and if we needed anything. We are very satisfied with the installation and service and would recommend Heartland.

Ben came out to give us an estimate and really took the time to get to know us and our needs. A tech followed up with us and got our baseboards running. I look forward to working more with them! Follow up! Heartland came out and installed 3 mini splits. The crew was fantastic! Shout out to Josh and Branden for their work. Even mopped the floor to clean up after. Ordered cutom line hides so they will look spiffy. So glad I chose Heartland!

Used Heartland to put a mini-split heating and air unit in12x24 four season room. I had no idea what size I needed. Heartland came to my home and figured out the best sized unit that I needed, no more no less. In a matter of days, two men were at my home installing my unit. They did an excellent professional job. I am very anal about appearance and I can honestly say I was very pleased with the job they did. You won't go wrong choosing Heartland to do your heating and air work.

Heartland provided excellent and prompt service for my home in Makanda. They followed up well after replacing my failed heat pump. I recommend them highly.

Doug was with us today and replaced our hot water heater efficiently and professionally. Very down to earth and I enjoyed chatting with him throughout our appointment. We received communication before to let us know when to expect him and he was with us for around 2 hours. The new system was explained thoroughly before he left and he made sure we were satisfied before paying. Fair pricing to add. Would absolutely call Heartland Heating & Air Condition again.

I recently had a new HVAC system installed in our home.Ben came at the outset and I immediately trusted him and developed a repore with him. He explained everything thoroughly, didn’t pressure me and answered every question I posed( and I asked many). He truly is an asset to your business! Also, Isaac was very efficient with the install( wore shoe covers and cleaned up effectively) I have used Heartland for quite some time for the maintenance and Robbie always does a stellar job!!(another asset)! Ben was great to work with professional and friendly! Did an inspection and estimate for a new AC&Heating system on a home repair/remodeling. Explained things well, schedule the job right away and worked hard to get us a great price. Ben, Isaac and Ryan got the job done fast, even over the holiday season. Daniel came to my home to service my heating air conditioning system for the spring. He performed an additional service that I knew about ahead of time by cleaning out a fan inside the machine. He was thorough and explained what he was doing every step of the way. He was respectful and friendly. Highly recommend Heartland Mechanical.

I recently had both a HVAC and water heater check-ups. Heartland professionals, Doug and Sean were extremely friendly and informative. They were extremely thorough, answered all of my questions, and gave me estimates and information about service renewal and discounts. I’d say I had the best of Heartland here. Excellent service!

We moved into our new-to-us home in Marion which had been leased to a tenant that failed to repair a slab water leak for 4 months. Heartland had a tech to our home the day after we contacted them, removed and replaced the tankless hot water heater that was totally damaged by the lack of water supply on the same day they arrived. After we identified the source of the slab leaks they came back two days later and completely repaired them by inserting a sleeve rather than jackhammering the foundation like a different plumbing company said was going to be necessary. Did the whole repair in lessthanone day. Saved us several thousand dollars. Our tech was Doug, very profesional. These folks are the best!

I am delayed in this review but I cannot say how much I appreciate Heartland's service and their flexibility! They squeezed in a visit to inspect the furnace in my new-to-me house, found a ginormous problem, and came back to solve it even though I was out of town. The repair involved building a huge custom duct fitting and creating a new filter access point. They also installed a new thermostat, cleaned up old wiring silliness, and installed a cutoff and proper conduit for the A/C unit. Everything was done flawlessly and I will not hesitate to call them again when I need service!

I recently had a new furnace and air conditioner replaced by Heartland Heating and Air employees. They were very professional/friendly, had it installed and working properly in the amount of time that they predicted, explained the equipment to my satisfaction and they didn't make a mess. Shawn came out after hours on a Friday when our air went out. He was very friendly and professional. He was quick at getting everything running smoothly before the weekend but didn’t rush through the work. Honest and upfront about costs. Would recommend Shawn to anyone.

Heartland installed a mini split for me. Professional staff and top notch equipment, kept me warm when the weather dropped to teens. Great business, comes when you need them not weeks later. Plumbers and HVAC all know their stuff! I use Heartland for all my plumbing and HVAC needs. Reliable and knowledgeable with no pressure sales.

In late August I had need for a plumber and air conditioning within a few days of each other. The pros at Heartland came to the rescue. I discovered water on the floor in my utility/laundry room and called for help. A technician was here within minutes, found the leak in a fitting of the water line to my washer. He gave me the option of placing a temporary fix to get me to the next day as it was close to end of day and to do the repair now would be time and a half on labor. I opted for the temporary fix. Early the next morning, Randy, a plumber arrived and began work. He explained that he needed to cut a hole in the wall and kept me informed throughout the work. He finished the job in a few hours and I had new valves, a repaired water line and new hoses. He even placed a plate over the hole in the dry wall and everything looks and works great. A few days later during a hot day, I realized the AC was not working. I called Heartland and someone came out that day to assess the problem. The system had no coolant so there was a leak somewhere. He gave me the option of a repair but said that the test to find the leak would be $500. After realizing that the system was 19 years old, we opted to get a new system. Ben came out the next day to assess the system and our needs and presented us with options. We made decisions and Josh and Brandon showed up the next day and began the work of taking out the old and replacing with new. By the next day, we had a new Carrier system. The new thermostat is easy to use and great technology. Thank you Heartland for taking care of our many needs in a timely way. Heartland offers payment options. I highly recommend them. -Nancy M.
