Laird responded quickly, was professional, and easy to work with. They provided one of five quotes I received, and theirs was very competitive. I chose Laird based on their professionalism and a great first impression. The AC replacement was completed in just half a day, only two days after I signed the contract. I'm extremely satisfied with their service and will definitely return for any future HVAC needs.

I called to get an estimate/quote to repair my furnace and to have a new one installed. He arrived to look and was under the impression it was just to get a quote for a new furnace but said he had his tools with him so he would take a look anyway, which I was grateful for. After looking around he said it could be a couple different things but he didn’t have parts with him and would get back to me. A week later still no call back so I called them. I told the lady that answered that I was curious what he came up with for a quote or of he thinks it could be repaired. She said she would pass the msg to him. A couple days later still no call back so I called twice. The second time I left a msg asking if they were able to get me the estimate or quote. That was days ago and still no call back; not even to say he was too busy to do the job. It’s practically in the middle of December so it would have been nice to not delay if I needed to go with a different company. I understand things come up and they can decline servicing but a phone call at the least would have been better customer service over no call at all. I support local businesses but was a little disappointed with this one

Drew just finished a lot of work at our new house. I could not have asked for better work or a better attitude. He did what he said he would, at the price he gave, on time, and did an excellent job. And the labor is guaranteed for a year!

I'm absolutely thrilled to have found Drew Laird to service our HVAC system. We have a Hydronic Boiler/Solar heating system, which Drew has restored for us 2 times. Drew is also a HVAC instructor at Rankin Tech, training future HVAC Technicians

Drew has a ton of knowledge everytime I have an issue with my boiler/AC it takes him no time to fix he is polite and respectful and always very professional.

Had apptmt on Monday never showed up. Eventually called and said would come out wed BUT NEVER SAW THEM OR HEARD FROM THEM. I don't know what their deal is but had to call someone else. GET IT TOGETHER!

I installed the new AC back in 2018 but I also use them for our yearly maintenance. The staff is professional and punctual. I would highly recommend them.

The pro was prompt and provide the right solutions to our issue. They were thorough and provided us with some good next steps.

DO NOT USE IRELAND!!! I called Ireland after your A/C went out during the 3 hotest days of the summer. The service person arrived and immediately stated that there was nothing that he could do for us. I stated that the installer of the A/C unit has instruction on how to repair the unit but he refused and demanded the $160 for the service call leaving us with no A/C. 2 days later a service person from another HVAC company repaired the unit in minutes per the same instructions. I called Ireland and was told that I needed to speak to the Owner. I called 4 times over 10 days before having speaking with him. The owner was rude and arrogant and refused to return the service fee. I REPEAT-- DO NOT USE IRELAND.

Great Experience

A well respected company servicing the west suburbs recommended Dave Ireland when my long time HVAC person sold his company. I have some unique issues including off the chart sensitivity to the smallest spec of mold-- a bit hard for Dave to comprehend at first but nonetheless he accepted my unique medical issue and has insured that my HVAC is in perfect condition. This summer I ran into an indoor humidity issue, not something that would impact the normal population, but did impact my health. I had just had my bi-annual service and was worried that they technician had missed something. Dave made a special trip out (I am a distance away) and brought all sorts of humidity measuring devices. He explored other areas of potential leakage as well. As is usually the case, Dave was correct. The HVAC was working at an optimal level and my humidity issue was not related. If you are looking for someone with a seasoned technician team and a vast knowledge of HVAC, this should be your go to HVAC company. Hopefully you will not have my medical issues. Two of me might give Dave an extra grey hair. Dave if your reading this, thank you for your wisdom and tolerance.

Used Ireland Heating & Air Conditioning a couple times, one time to temporarily move the outside a/c unit during another project and another time to fix the outside a/c unit when it did not start. They were prompt and professional in their response and work performed. Cost of work was also great.

What a great company. They were on time, professional and knowledgeable. Our repairman Rich promptly replaced the parts, added refrigerant to the system, and we were back up and running in hot and humid weather. Ireland replace two heating / air conditioning units over a two year period. Project went well. Continue to use them twice a year for bi-annual service tune ups. They are very professional in scheduling, workmanship, design. Was particularly impressed when the owner came to re-balance my ducts to optimize performance. Highly recommend.
