I contacted Effective Air using their website form at 5:30 on a Thursday night. I received an email response the same night! The technicians came at 12:30 the following day and worked on the unit that was no longer cooling, checking the compressor and adding refrigerant. They also checked the other unit (the house has zoned A/C), cleaned both, taught me that it was better to use a cheaper filter (that allows better air flow) on the furnace and change it more frequently, sealed a vent that was leaking air and basically made sure that everything was working perfectly. Miguel and Josh were friendly, professional and a delight to work with. Outstanding customer service!!

Very well. They were all very professonal and provided additional helpful advice. The installers were able to hide the hoses for our split ductless a/c unit under the roof so they don't show. Everything looks great and the a/c unit they installed cools in minutes. Glad I chose them.

It went well. He was prompt, polite, neat, and friendly.

Effective Air was here for an annual service in January. They're very responsive when you have an emergency.

A few months ago we had a whole house water filtration system installed. The technicians were friendly and knowlagable and the office staff were friendly. Since the installation I feel comfortable knowing that not only the water I'm drinking, but event the water coming out of my shower is filtered. I know that chlorine and other chemicals put into water are needed to prevent the spread of bacteria, but I hated to think that I was drinking these harmful chemicals and almost worse, inhaling them while in the shower. The water tastes great and my skin feels amazing. I would highly reccomend a whole house water filtration system to everyone and make sure you get it installed by Effective Air, Inc.

At this time of year, they are really busy. They came out to install the new furnace within 4 days of our call. Actually, it was installed on the coldest day of the year so far. Everything went perfect. Their men came out at 8 a.m. and started to work right away. They were here all day. They were nice guys, very respectful and friendly. We have been working with Effective Air for about 17 years, off and on for various things in our house. I wouldn't use anyone else. They are top notch, and do excellent work.

The price is fair. They're really great. I love the guy that comes and checks the furnaces, his name is Gary, he's very professional and very thorough.

We had no heat from one furnace due to a squirrel shoving a black walnut pod in the exhaust pipe.  They cut the pipe, removed the blockage and created a clean out so that if the pesty rodents start sticking black walnut pods in the pipes again, we won't be without heat for days.  They also preformed the normal fall maintenance. <br />

Effective Air installed a multi head mini split system. 7 indoor units driven by a single Mitsubishi mister slim out door unit. The installation team was extremely curtious and professional. We had immediate problems with one of the indoor units, Effective Air was diligent in resolving the issue. I'd highly recommend this company for heating and air needs. <br />

Gary and all of the service men are very knowledgeable, neat and prompt. I have been dealing with Effective Air for over 25 years and I have recommended them to many people. They are just the best. <br />

From beginning to end, this was an outstanding experience. Based on an independent home energy audit, we contacted Erik about several major recommendations in the audit report. He reviewed those before coming out and was well aware of the issues. He was extremely thorough in inspecting the systems, excellent at answering many, many questions and explaining alternatives, and clearly prioritized his recommendations in a detailed and totally comprehensible proposal. There were many phone calls back and forth as I absorbed all the details, and Erik was clear, professional and patient throughout. <br /> The work itself took three days, plus a planned follow-up visit, and the crew was excellent and expert. When issues were discovered during the course of the work, the situation was clearly explained and options were outlined. All of the work appeared to be high-quality and very thorough. <br /> While the cost of the work done certainly was not cheap, I asked someone familiar with HVAC work to review everything and was told that the estimate was very much in line. The one notable exception was for replacing my furnace and air conditioner. I asked for a quote on that so I could consider doing it at the same time, and the figures were very high. I opted not to have that work done. <br /> Overall, however, I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend Effective Air for such projects. <br /> <br />
