Cody arrived right on time to do the regular service of my gas furnace under the comfort program. He was especially well-informed on potential issues with the installation of my Carrier condensing furnace, including a notice from the manufacturer to make sure the condensate drain piping included a vent so the condensate wouldn't back up into the unit. Another firm had done the install before I found out about Shanco/Peppy. Cody added a vent to the piping in just a couple of minutes, so that potential problem is sorted!

Brett and his team are first class. The work was done beautifully on time, on budget and we would recommend them highly!!

Dustin came out to repair our furnace which we’d had repaired (unsuccessfully) by another company 3 times. He was able to diagnosis the problem and fix it quickly. He was very professional and ensured everything was working properly before he left. I highly recommend this company and Dustin in particular fir any furnace repairs you might need.

Brett, the owner of Shanco, made a great first impression while he was inspecting our existing HVAC system before giving us an estimate for a replacement system. While down in the crawl space he noticed it was unusually cold, discovered that the main duct had a big leak in it, and fixed it on the spot. That was one of the primary reasons we hired his firm. And the crew that actually handled the installation (Christ, Matt and Alex) did an exceptional job. It was fun to watch their enthusiastic teamwork and professionalism. Highly recommended!

Got a call right away from Shanco. They were available the next day to do service. Showed up on time, did a thorough evaluation of the entire system, ran the required maintenance and got the system up and running in about an hour. Service call fee as advertised plus parts & maintenance.

Tech evaluated problem. Gave us 5 repair options. I asked for his recommendation and he said #2 would work best.. coolant refill with sealant in it to fix pinhole. 90 day warranty if it leaks again, he comes back out at no charge.

Our home had not been cooling properly and I’m not handy when it comes to Air Conditioners. I called Shanco based on a recommendation from a friend. Their technician showed up on time, was polite, knowledgeable, and most importantly fixed our problem without taking me to the cleaners. Thanks!

It was good to hear that my old heater is well made and so is my air conditioner. I learned a bit about maintaining them. It was nice there was no up sell and the sky wasn't falling. The technician even solved the mystery about the loud air intake vent in my living room. Finally I can hear myself think again. I'm going to sign up for their comfort club. It comes out slightly better than paying for the yearly service and it's only $12 a month.

From the first phone call with Brett to job completion everyone (Chris, Dustin, Matt and Brett) was fabulous. Brett was very easy to speak to and willing to answer our questions, his crew showed up on time and was very friendly, efficient and respectful. They offered to answer any questions, explained what to expect during the process, and happily took time to explain our new thermostat. Brett's pricing was fair, and they were ready to install within a couple days of our decision. We would most definitely recommend Shanco to anyone looking for their services.

Brett Shannon (owner) arrived promptly on time. Some problems ended up arising that made the process much longer than planned, but he carried on without complaint and didn't charge more than the original quote. We will definitely be using Shanco Heating and Air again for any problems that arise.

I had a very reputable company come out a couple days before, one I had used for years... come out to see why my system was acting up. I was sure that something big was wrong, so I was prepared for the bad news of needing a new coil unit and outdoor compressor unit. It was going to cost us big. Luckily, my older brother asked enough questions to realize that something didn't sound right and made a referral to Shanco. This was on a Friday.. Brett was out to the house first thing Monday morning. Brett took a look over everything, fiddled with a couple things, washed out the outdoor compressor and declared the whole unit fit... in fact, it turns out our A/C was running better than most of the newer units out there. He wanted to leave without taking any $... but I insisted I be able to pay him for the service call as I had eaten an hour and a half of his time. Whatever he did has worked fine, and the unit has been cooling like it should. It's been a week today... He also took a few minutes to help me understand how often the unit should be working, things to look for and things I shouldn't worry about. We were looking/preparing for a $3000 - $5000 bill for the new units the other company is still calling to try and set up an appointment to order. We get to go on vacation this summer instead. And here is the kicker.. and I hate to be so picky about things... but Brett actually asked before he put a sticker on our perfectly fine and hopefully bulletproof unit. I can't tell you how annoying it is to rip stickers off units after a serviceman has left with bad news or iffy work. I have to restate too... Brett did not want my money for what he did. It was a "second opinion" on the other company's work. I ended up asking him to allow me to pay him for his time.. I'm self employed, and I know how valuable time is to a working person.

Brett and his Shanco staff were fantastic. They listened to my needs, gave me a fair estimate, were excellent on communication through every step of the process. They listened to my suggestions from my research, and then performed the work punctually, professionally and in a clean fashion. Yes, yes, yes - I would hire them again.

I entertained quotes from several HVAC businesses before deciding to go with SHANCO Heating and Air. I had lots of questions before I felt comfortable about choosing them and the equipment to have installed. Brett was patient and prompt about answering all of my questions. He and Dustin arrived on time, were thorough, and completed the installation within the time that they estimated. They were professional and operated with integrity. I would definitely recommend them.

I searched online for an hvac service and came across Shanco, it was 5:30 at night within 10 minutes I received an email from them with a quote and contact information. I scheduled an appointment for the next morning at 8:30. Our service tech was Dustin Vanloon he was prompt, professional and friendly. Dustin saved us money due to his professionalism, integrity and diligence performing the diagnosis. He explained everything he was doing and took the time to answer all my questions. Very well - so well that I signed up for the semi-annual maintenance program they offer.

Excellent service , with air conditioning service in demand, due to record heat this summer, I received service in under 24 hours of calling. A time was scheduled for the service then met, with constant communication until arrival. Knowledgeable, friendly and service driven. I will defiantly use again for any HVAC need.
