Our furnace broke and they did an absolutely amazing job getting here and getting a new one put in for us!

Guy that came over, Jeff, was very easy to talk to, well mannered, knew his stuff, and very informative with more than just the thing I needed fixed. Service was quick in-and-out and uncomplicated. Price was easy on the wallet and raised no questions. I will say though, the receptionist girl I talked to has a condescending tone and makes you feel like any question you ask is an inconvenience. But overall, I'm impressed and will be calling again if i have any more problems with my basement.

Great service! They were able to come over only an hour after calling them. Jeff was very friendly and professional; he definitely knew what he was doing and didn't try to pad the clock. He fixed everything up in no time and made sure things were working properly afterwards. Price was what you'd expect from any other heating service.

Most expensive plumbing in town. They came out and did their walk through and we had a conversation on price. We gave the green light to proceed. The work was all acceptable, no problems. The bill I got in the mail was double what we discussed, $1400. I called and the owner just kept saying , it is what it is , and we thought we treated you good. I let him know I treated him good as well but it is unacceptable and unlawful to miscalculate a bill to that degree. He was rude and cocky. In the end we payed 1200 dollars to avoid missing work and going through the court process. If I could do it again I would of went to court, just for the principle. He admitted several times that the bill was exceeded but really didn't seem to understand the big deal. He also let me know that our verbal agreement wasn't a written contract so he feels he didn't have to stick to it. Which is absolutely false. Also the nasty woman that answers the phone gave us nothing but attitude as well. It was apparent that's his right hand gal and dealing with the two of them was exhausting. Any others with bad experiences please post ! I am the first to review here, yet the word of mouth about this business isn't good in this town. Just because this is a small town doesn't mean we just get who we get. With enough complaints these businesses that have small monopolies can be forced to re evaluate their practices / prices.

When I built my home in 1989 I went out and got 4 estimates for the plumbing and heating needed for new construction. Independence Plumbing & Heating may have been the highest estimate but the professional way the owner presented himself and the explanation of the quality of the product we were getting is the reason I chose this company. I live 8 miles south of Jesup and anytime I have called for service they have promptly arrived, fixed the problem and NEVER have they over-charged me. The repairmen are knowledgeable, friendly, come in, get the job done and on their way they go. I have had to call them on two different occasions on a holiday or weekend and have never felt like I was bothering them and I know I must have. As far as the gal behind the desk at the shop, she does a great job representing the business and understands the concept of great customer service! Keep up the great work! Peggy Grutz

I needed to update my review, because I updated my air conditioners and furnaces. Who knew how fast 20 years could pass? And who knew what a difference it would make! Our house is quieter, cooler, and cleaner. I can't wait to see my next utility bill (who says that?) Once again, 5 stars for a professional, friendly, and reliable service. Wow! AC broken on Memorial Day weekend. I called on Tuesday morning, and by 8:30, it was fixed (mice has had several dinners in the wiring). This is my “go to” for plumbing and AC.
