Crawford North

We’re super grateful for Crawford North—and especially Michael—for saving us from spending thousands of dollars unnecessarily. We originally had another company come out and tell us that several parts of our HVAC unit were failing and that it’d be more cost-effective to replace the entire system. Thankfully, we got a second opinion. Michael took the time to really troubleshoot the issue, and after a couple of visits, he had our existing unit working perfectly. Everything that was supposedly “failing” turned out to be just fine. It’s rare these days to find professionals who are honest, thorough, and genuinely have your best interests in mind. Crawford North went above and beyond—we’ll definitely be using them from now on and recommending them to friends and family.

I’ve had to have Crawford out quite a few times in the last year or two for various issues, including an AC, furnace, and water heater replacement. Austin and Larry and their guys are easy to work with, trustworthy, and prompt in getting repairs done even when they’re slammed. Have gotten quotes from competitors in the past for some of the bigger jobs and while Crawford’s prices are fair, the trust you can have in the quality of work is unmatched. I also utilize them in a commercial setting and when we need emergency service, their on-call tech always gets back to me in an extremely reasonable time frame.

We had a great experience with Crawford North. The team replaced our furnace and AC unit with a new furnace and heat pump. They also helped us run new ductwork to an unconditioned addition making that space usable for us year-round. Starting with the quote process, they were able to visit our home and give recommendations very quickly. We had not been considering a heat pump until they mentioned it and we are now so happy with the system. Crawford also helped us with rebates and gave us an estimate on what we should expect. The installation team was very efficient and professional. We are looking forward to our first winter season with the new system!

I called Crawford late Friday morning due to a water heater issue. Adam showed up later on in the afternoon and he knew exactly what was wrong. Due to it being under the manufacturer warranty, Adam gave me all the options available for me. He was patient while I was getting info from the manufacturer to help me decide what's best for me. Wait a week for the free replacement part or pay for the part. (manufacturer wouldn't pay for labor since it was outside the 12 months window) While I was on hold Adam let me know that his supply company closed in 15 mins and they're across town. I told Adam I'll get the part from him since I didn't want to wait a week without hot water. Adam called his supply company and they left the part outside for him. The manufacturer will reimbursed me for the part just not the entire amount. Adam did everything in his power to get me hot water before the weekend. Adam was up front with cost and it was the normal hourly rate. Only if more companies would hire more honest and knowledgeable people like Adam. Crawford is very lucky to have Adam working for them. (Adam fixed our water heater in the dark using a flash light) Thank you Adam again!

We had Crawford Company North install duct work, a new furnace, and AC in our home. We are Extremely pleased with the entire project from start to finish with Crawford North. Austin came out to give us a quote on the entire project. He worked with us from start to finish to make sure we were completely satisfied with how everything turned out. Tom and David who installed everything were always very professional and courteous. I would HIGHLY recommend Crawford North for your heating and cooling needs!

Austin was very prompt in coming for a service call when our air conditioner stopped working. When we discovered our compressor needed replacing, he was great in helping us determine whether to repair or replace. We decided to replace and then had to decide whether to keep or replace our 15 year furnace. Austin was helpful in making that decision and giving us an estimate for either scenario. We ended up deciding to replace both units. Austin got the units in quickly and was able to get us scheduled very quickly for installation. We think Austin did a great job on installing our new furnace and air conditioner. Thank you very much !!

Crawford was so great to work with. They were very responsive and so easy to work with! Austin came out to the house to look things over and update some quotes we had done in the past. Within of week of giving the go ahead they were out to the house to start an install that they said would take 3-4 days and they were done in 2 days! We got a final run through and Austin even followed up with us to see how everything was going! So happy with Crawford!

We had the pleasure of having Austin take a look at our system and recommend a nice, new, affordable a/c unit and furnace. It only took 2 days to tear down the old system and install the new one. Austin was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable with the company’s products and was willing to take the time to answer the many questions I had about air conditioning, heating and installation. I had several companies come out and give bids - Austin was the only technician to walk through the house checking ducts etc. Austin is a very personable and professional individual. Crawford (North), Austin & his team did an excellent job! I'd had a TERRBILE EXPERIENCE with a Bryant dealer for the preceding 11 months with a new furnace & A/C (Birch Heating & Cooling). Austin's team with Crawford North came in & quickly resolved the problem & replaced 100% of the equipment that was undersized for my house for less $$$ at a year later! Imagine that, larger more expensive equipment & a years worth of inflation, but Crawford North did the job for substantially less $$$ than what Birch had charged, who would NEVER ADMITT they estimated & installed the wrong size equipment.

I have had Shawn at my house a few times to solve problems for me. He is very knowledgeable and can do anything. I am so happy I contacted Crawford for services I needed, Thank you.so much.

Tim was great! The owner even stopped by to help remove our old, heavy water heater. Installation was quick and the new plumbing is beautiful. They worked with us and brainstormed to move the location the heater is housed. The new location makes far more sense with our renovation. Will definitely use them again for all future repairs and plumbing projects!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Crawford, and particularly Austin Cahill’s commitment to customer service and doing things right. My installation consisted of three mini-splits upstairs and a forced air unit installed in the basement with all new duct work feeding the main floor. I was amazed at how clean the installation was and how they were able to feed the duct work through the basement without sacrificing ceiling height/head room.

We had a new furnace & air conditioner recently installed, and couldn't be happier. From the estimate to completed procedure, everything was totally professional and the staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and personable. We had a back up in our sewer pipes and the plumbing company that jetted it told us we would have to replace all our sewer pipes. We called Crawford as a second opinion and Tim came out and cleaned out our pipes and used the camera to make sure they looked good and that no replacement was necessary. He also answered every question we had. We will definitely contact him with any future needs.

This is the second Furnace and Central Air Unit that I have had Crawford Company North install for me. The first being in our rental property and now in our personal home. The service and quality work done by Crawford along with their competitive pricing makes them my go to for my HVAC needs!

I arrived early ay my church as I always do in winter on Sunday mornings to check on the bldg. We had a baptism scheduled and I wanted to make sure everything was OK. The building was cold when I arrived. Neither boiler would start. Some areas of the church were in the 30's. I made the decision to call Crawford Company North for their assistance. Their mechanic arrived and discovered we had a short in the boiler wiring. He used a logical trouble shooting method to isolate and repair the wire short. He started the boilers and the building warmed up to the correct temperature. Had he not arrived in time or wasn't able to fix the issue, the church would have experienced significant damage from frozen heating lines and broken radiators. Time was of the essence. This is not the first time I have used Crawford North for emergency repairs. Each time was on a weekend and each time they exceeded my expectations for prompt urgent repairs during our heating season. Well done Crawford!
