It is so difficult trying to find a reputable HVAC company that you can really trust and doesn't treat you like a used car salesman...not the case with Vining Heating and Air!!! Michael has been servicing our A/C the last few years...It was time to replace our 20 year old system...Michael provided us a great deal and his installation team was phenomenal!!! Its not common to find this in any business!! As a first time customer with Vining's I was blown away by their service. Michael personally came out, back in March, on short notice to provide us with a quote for a new HVAC/Furnace. Our current system was 20+ years old and on it's last leg. He provided us with a competitive quote and was never pushy about it. We held on to the quote until this month when it was clear our system wouldn't make it thru the summer. He quickly got us on the schedule and his team completed the work in about half a day. His crew was also very professional and friendly. Michael was sure to follow up with me later in the evening to make sure everything was satisfactory. I highly recommend this business!

Vining Heating and Air Conditioning is, without a doubt, the best HVAC business out there! While I won’t name the other company, I initially got an estimate from, their pricing was outrageous. With Vining, I got TWO brand-new heating units for the price the other company quoted for just one. The technicians were incredibly professional and punctual and completed both installations safely and efficiently. Their service exceeded all expectations, and I highly recommend Vining for any of your HVAC needs. in march Darren and travis came out to change 2 filters . (easy job) but they were not prepared. The company has been out before and should have known the exact size of my filters. But the first time they rigged larger filters to fit saying they would note the correct size for next time. NO measure device of any kind was involved ( tape measure is a needed piece for this! guessing is NOT). this morning 6-21-2020 I decided to look at filters seeing if they were dirty. the larger unit filter was lying in the bottom of the unit as in photo here so all the dirt from intake is now stuck in my air handler. Disgusting. this is upsetting. I measured and properly put in filters myself.. if you want something done right. (DO IT YOURSELF)

The pilot light on the furnace was not working. We called another company first, they came and gave us an estimate on the repair (similar to the estimate we got from Mike Vining). The people from the other company said they were going to confirm the cost of the part we needed, and call us next day. Since we did not hear from them after 3 days, we called Mike Vining. <br /> Two of Mike Vining technicians came, check our furnace, found and removed a dead bat on the vent pipe and gave us an estimate on fixing the furnace. They left and came back later with the part we needed, spent a couple of hours working on the furnace and could not fix it. Next day, another person came and could not fix the furnace either. They concluded that they have got a faulty part. They ordered the part again and, a couple of days later, they came, installed the new part and had our 28 year furnace running again. <br /> They also gave us an estimate on a new furnace & A/C system, but they did not push us to buy a new system. <br /> They called in advance every time they were going to come, and kept us informed on the part situation, since it took a couple of days to get the second new part. <br /> We liked their professionalism and responsiveness. <br />

Despite having verbally agreed to waive the charges for two service calls that were requested at the same time (neither of which was satisfactory), the vendor is now claiming that he had only agreed to waive the charge for the service call where his tech incorrectly diagnosed the issue as being a bad compressor. They want me to pay the $90 bill for the 7970 Mustang Lane job for changing the filter and supposedly cleaning the condensation drain line. MV Heating and Air's technician wrote the invoice to my tenant's name (not mine) and he left it at the rental house, instead of sending it to me immediately. Months later I discovered that their address label had omitted my box number from my mailing address. When I received a copy of the bills, I again called the company owner, Mike Vining, and after an unnecessarily heated discussion, he agreed that he would "take care of" the charges. This morning, however, Mr. Vining does not acknowledge that conversation, and says that I am creating a "cockamamie scheme" to avoid having to pay him. <br /> This vendor does not seem to fully acknowledge the potential problems caused by providing invoices to the tenant. In fact, this particular invoice states that the "heat pump system....only runs heat strips, and needs heat pump t-stat rewired." Sharing this type of information with tenants can cause unnecessary credibility problems. Many months later my tenants counterclaimed me, while in dispossessory court proceedings, that I owed them for their electric bill. <br /> Unfortunately, MV Heating and Air's communication and professionalism are below average. Mr Vining's communication style was, and still is, overconfident and can escalate to belligerence. For example, when I expressed skepticism with his tech's diagnosis of a bad compressor (which would supposedly cost me over $800), Mr Vining hurriedly expressed that his techs are well trained, have high integrity, and that he doesn't have to second guess their diagnosis. Because I knew that my system was only two years old at the time (and under warranty), I encouraged Mr Vining to consider going himself to verify his tech's assessment. He rebuffed. Later, when I informed Mr Vining that I subsequently sent a different company, and their tech solved the issue without replacing any parts and simply flipped a switch or circuit breaker, he scoffed in disbelief and quickly got off the phone. Per Mr. Vinings' voicemail a couple weeks later, he went onto my rental property (without telling me), and the tenant confirmed the same results as I had told him. Shortly thereafter, I had to pay a different company to repair a leak in Mustang Lane's outdoor heat pump, which had lost all its freon. The timing is probably coincidental, but I'll never know. <br /> Mr Vinings admits there were "communication issues" that led to his company inadvertently mailing me two separate bills. During our call, he initially thought that Mustang Lane $90 bill had also been marked as "paid in full," but called me back a few minutes later after "pulling the file" and said that I still owe them that bill. While I began to express my position to Mr. Vining (the owner), he loudly interrupted me saying that I owe him $90 and then he literally hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked to speak with him, but his receptionist told me that he was "out of the office," and since she couldn't help me that I should call back Monday. It seems that I have called him enough. <br />

I received courteous, quality service. Mike was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Dave was amazing! Not only did he repair the AC unit, he took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I am very pleased with my service and definitely recommending this company to my family, friends & neighbors. This company went the extra mile to take care of my need & exceeded my expectations.
