Plunkett Heating & Air

They have always been very fair. I liked them. I have yearly contract with them.

Excellent. I got a good product and they're good people to work with.

They had been maintaining the heating and air conditioning before we moved in so we just continued the maintenance agreement. They show up when they are supposed to and are knowledgeable.

It was very good Technician found a problem in our system and had to replace the thermostat. he did not have the part but returned the next day to replace it.

They have been in this area for a long time.

I give them all A's and will absolutely continue to use them.

I give them all A's! I am very happy with them. They are in and out within 45 minutes. They are reliable, easy to get an appointment made. The technicians are very nice and know what they are doing.

Two people did the job. They cleaned up after themselves.

They do the bi-annual check up of both the air conditioner during the spring months and in the early fall, the check the furnace to make sure that everything is operating correctly.

After further investigation, it was found that the drain line was installed wrong/backwards years ago by my builder. Not, Plunkett's fault.... But don't you think over a 5 year period of "maintaining" my units they would have found that out??? Hmmmmm.... Then of course they said "they could not be held responsible"...... Shotty service at best and then were not loyal to customers who were loyal to them.... Would never recommend this company....

We had some issue with it. The service was good but the unit suffered some issues and it wasn't their fault. They weren't the cheapest but they definitely weren't the most expensive. They came out and fixed the mistake but they did a mistake in securing the lines. They didn't wrap the overflow lines of the upstairs unit. They came back and fixed it. Their responsiveness was good. They were always there when they said they were going to be there. They were very pleasant.

Mr. Beale arrived promptly and performed a thorough analysis of the size of each room and the the number of ducts that needed to be installed. He also suggested that we replace our 20 year old heater at the same time the other work is being done. Mark also showed us the best air handler and filter system for our home as well as the room to install it in. He answered all our questions in great detail and made sure we had full understanding of all work to be performed before he left to do the estimate. He gave us a ballpark figure that was acceptable to us. We look forward to getting the work started and the final results. More to follow. <br />

I'm fully satisfied with them. They've been great. They're punctual, on time, respond well, good prices. They work with me when I need them to on scheduling issues. They're really good, just that they're kind of backed up and you might be waiting a while before they could squeeze you in. They're very responsive when I need to get a hold of them.

I had a maintenance plan where they come in the winter and summer. They were real complete. That was the first time we used them. They came out for regular service and check, and that was good that we didn't have to worry about something needed to be checked. We didn't have to wait until something broke, or the next year.

The quote process went really well. They were slightly higher priced but they were very professional.

I use them because they are the company that I got the units from and I got the warranty of guarantied better maintenance and service. It also includes various parts in it. There is problem in between servicing depending on the nature of the problem, they will come without any extra cost. They're very punctual, mostly, they require 3-4 hour time window out of your day. They pointed a specific schedule and they've never been late.

If there was a rating lower than an F, I would give it to Plunkett Heating and Air Conditioning. My Fiancée hired these bozos to upgrade her HVAC system. The degree of slipshoddiness of their work is only surpassed by the incredibly low standards of their support following installation. I would not recommend that anyone hire these jokers to install tabletop fans much less a HVAC system.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> After paying them to install a new HVAC system, she discovered that they had failed to hook up one of the HVAC conduits to the register in one of the rooms. Because the house was not being lived in at the time of the work, the failure to connect the duct was not discovered until a year later when people began living in the room the duct went to. The room was neither heating nor cooling and the air from the HVAC was blowing out part of the open ductwork into the crawlspace of the house. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> When my fiancée called Plunkett about this, they said that it was out of warranty, so not their problem. They sent out a worker to look at the problem, but he told my fiance that he would not work on the duct at all because there were fleas under the house. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Eventually, because Plunkett was un-responsive to our complaints, we asked a reputable HVAC company to come in and attach the conduit While under the house, the new HVAC workers noted that a lot of the conduit was wet and dripping. There were also spots where it was not properly attached causing even more air to blow out under the house. One of the holes in the ductwork had been sealed with duct tape instead of a metal cover. Animals had been living in some of the open ductwork.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> It appears that Plunkett cut corners on the work my fiancé paid for by using existing conduit where ever they could, instead of replacing it, even when the ductwork was rusted out, and was open to the air. They are local.  They are very reliable and responsive.  They respond the same day that I call.  They are very professional.

They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anybody. I had had somebody out prior to that and they only gave me like one option of what to do of one system. Todd from this company he sat down and he had three different units that he told me about ad I asked him about the one that the other gentlemen had told me about and he researched that and he brought in their source for all three of them. They offered financing you know and just wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I ended up buying the unit that the other company had told me about but I got it for like $800 less. I got 10 years factory warranty on parts and labor which is like unheard off ad lifetime on some of the other components of the system. They just did a fantastic job and it only took them like two or maybe three hours to put the system in. I had to get a loan because I don’t exactly have $4500 hanging out at my house and the people I had got a loan through there were some issues with it. The check was supposed to come on Saturday and it didn’t. So I called Todd and I told him that I might have to move the date back to get the unit put in because I didn’t have the check yet and he told me to not worry about it and as long as I get it to them by the end of the month when they close out the books that was fine. From the salesman to the gentleman that installed the system they all did a good job and there were no additional fees. They took out the old unit and cleaned up the mess, didn’t leave anything in my yard. They were just fantastic and they did a great job.
