I spent countless hours researching and deciding which company to use and what type of A/C unit to purchase. Facemyer is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive comparing apples to apples. New Trane system installed Feb 2018. 1 .Installation issues. Workers did NOT always wear the foot booties inside our house. Then 1 hour after the installation was completed we noticed the PVC pipe started leaking on top of the cabinet box inside the house.. We called them and a worker came by within 2 hours. He said they did not glue the PVC joint and they missed it somehow. However, this delay caused us to cancel a dinner with friends. Wife was very angry! Then a few days later, I noticed the bolt that secured the bracket to the outside unit was over-tightened and was not secured firmly to the pad. I was able to remove the screw with my fingers. Rather than having them come out again, I used cement epoxy to secure the screw. 2.System performance. We purchased the Trane 15 / 16 seer. Very dependable and very efficient. Comparing KW (electricity) useage per day versus the previous year we are always using a little less electricity with this Trane compared to a top of the line Carrier unit (same seer) that was replaced. 3.Suggestions. Be more flexible and sharpen your pencil on items. I knew I was going to hate the thermostat that was included in the package and yes I hate it. At the time of purchase I told them I wanted a different thermostat and it was very very expensive for that upgrade so I did not purchase it. Also the price on the Honeywell thick filters offered by Facemyer is high. I was able to purchase these filters on-line for substantially less. Overall a great product (so far) but install could have been better. 3.5 stars. They already came by for the 1st maintenance, everything went fine! Lastly, I would advise the installation team to do a double check on their installation before leaving the jobsite.

Got a call from my tenants that AC stopped. Did google search for ac repair companies locally and decided to call Facemyer based on the reviews. First visit, guy showed up on time and started to diagnose the problem. Within few minutes he found the problem and diagnosed that system got no refrigerant in it, which tell me there a refrigerant leak in the system. Now what? Instead of recommending a leak test or doing a leak test he decided to dump 10lb refrigerant in the system with dye to find the leak and left me with 1200$ bill. A tech from a different company told me that they should have done nitrogen/bubble test instead of dumping system with an expensive refrigerant. Anywho, next day system gave up again and had to call them. Showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the leak to be in the air handlers A coil. Now comes the resolution part. His recommendation was to change the system due to its age, which makes sense. So I asked for the proposal and pricing. After reviewing the pricing, I told the guy that I would like to take second opinion as its a big investment and decided to call the Home Depot guys to check. keeping long story short, HD guys recommended system replacement too and quoted me the complete system replacement with similar make model and configuration for 30% less then what facemyer quoted me. They could have very well help me save 1200$ by recommending a leak test using nitrogen (as mentioned by HD tech) when they found system dry and empty, but they did not. I won't go back to them for sure and would highly recommend you take second opinion before letting them start the work.

FACEMYER AC - BUYER BEWARE On 6/21/17 we called Facemyer AC to perform preventive maintenance on our Trane air conditioner at home. The Trane AC was working fine before we called them, but Facemyer had installed it in 2010, so we figured it was time for a routine check up on the typical items (check Freon level, clean the air handler coils etc.). The cost of the service call was quoted at $99.00. The technician came out and went through his routine. He cleaned the air handler and then tried to sell my wife a UV light. I told him we hadn't needed a UV light in all the years we had lived in our house, so we declined the offer. We never did ask for a price. He then proceeded to check out the condenser (outside part). After a short while he came in and told me that the run capacitor was failing and needed replacement. I asked him how much it was. He replied that the cost of the good capacitor that is made in Florida is $240.00. I told him that is an outrageous price and that I buy capacitors at work for $30-$40 each. (By the way, I looked and could not find a capacitor manufacturer located in Florida, so I believe this statement is less than accurate.) He then offered a cheaper capacitor for $201.00, but said that it wasn't as good because it was made in Mexico. Please note that the original capacitor that came from Trane was made in Mexico. I told him those are ridiculous prices and that I would replace the capacitor myself. I directed him to finish his service call and paid him the agreed upon price ($99.00) for the preventive maintenance service. I have since purchased a new run capacitor and installed it in my AC condenser. The new capacitor cost $10.50. I installed it in less than 5 minutes. Conclusion, the technician tried to sell us a UV system that we didn't need. He also tried to sell me a $240 capacitor that I purchased for $10.50. The new capacitor is made in Mexico, just like the OEM original one that came in the AC condenser from Trane. I don't know if this technician knew what he was doing or just following a script given to him by his employer, regardless Facemyer attempted to take advantage of us with their unneeded recommendations and sky-high pricing. I wonder how many people have fallen for these tactics? I previously used Facemyer AC at my home and business for our AC problems, but after this experience, I have lost all faith in Facemyer AC and will not use them again. Based upon my experience I believe that this is a systemic problem that comes from the top down at Facemyer AC. As my wife told me, she's glad that I was home to oversee the work otherwise she would have been taken advantage of by the Facemyer technician.

Exemplary. This is the standard of service and professionalism. I had a horrible situation that needed to be resolved with re-ducting. Polite staff, professional job, cleaned up after themselves....the standard. These guys are the real deal. No-one will touch my HVAC other than Facemyer.....customer for life!

Nobody wants to spend money on a new AC unit. It Is just not fun. We recently discovered that we needed a new unit and we called several companies for estimates. Facemyer sent out a Sales Rep that had a career as a AC Technician ,he really knew his stuff. He measured windows , he went upstairs measured outside. NOT ONE OTHER company did this . Troy was so through and seemed very honest. We decided Facemyer was the company we wanted to do the job. They were complete and total professionals. Neat ,clean, professional and on time! It is a pleasure to work with a company that is truly concerned with Customer Service. We will never use another AC company. It is a relief to know you can trust a company like Facemmyer

This company did not fix our AC. Our AC kept shutting down and they couldn?t figure it out. The tech said it was a loose wire yet it didn?t fix the problem. And we paid for a service call which made me upset. The tech then stated he would bring the problem to the manager and perhaps they could figure it out. We never got a call back about the situation. We called to see if the manager had met with the techs to discuss this but was told they had not yet. He would call once they had a meeting. We never got a call back and we basically were ghosted. We have 2 rentals and our home and we?re planning on using them in the future but not anymore. Then we found out that the company was sold and the tech that was at their company is also gone. By the way, we found a company who could fix it now. Our AC is now running perfectly. No thanks to your company and the months we waited for you to call.

It went extremely well. Facemeyer is a family run company and everyone we dealt with from the Office staff to the owners to the installers were great. They were prompt, professional, listened to our needs and offered their professional recommendations. They followed up to make sure we had no further questions or concerns as well. The installers were also prompt, very courteous and were hard workers. One of the installers especially was very conscious, always explained what he was going to do and the reason he was doing it, would touch base with us after it was done to make sure we were satisfied and always cleaned up afterwards. When there was a delay in the delivery date of the second unit the Facemeyer staff kept us abreast of when it would arrive. After the work was completed the County inspection was scheduled and passed with no issues found. Facemeyer also registered our units with Trane and completed our gas company's rebates for us. Both new units are working great. We could not have been more pleased with the service we received and we will definitely have them do HVAC work for us again.

Rodney Facemyer expedited an estimate and provided a temporary fix until the new A/C could be installed. Installers were prompt and very professional. Excellent experience.

Every interaction with Facemyer was professional, courteous, and punctual, from the initial contact requesting a quote (Rodney Jr.), the response to follow-on questions, to the in-home evaluation, and finally with the install. The install was performed by a 3-person team (Tyler, Greg, and Tim), who were polite, skilled, and who took pride in their workmanship. They took the time to do things right, including the small details. We are very happy with the quality of the equipment, the quality of the installation, and the customer service provided by Facemyer. We highly recommend Facemyer.

It’s been excellent. They’re great. It was less than $2,000, I am not certain. They were prompt, very courteous. I like dealing with them, but as always, the worst part is it is a little more than you might expect for a repair to be, but it’s mechanical. I didn’t get estimates, I just used the guy, because he’s my guy. If I was in his area, I would use him again, but I sold the house. I am moving out of his area.

Greg and Ben arrived right on time and not even 5 minutes behind Rod (the company owner) to start the install of the new a/c unit system. They are extremely personable individuals, very courteous and willing to answer/explain any questions you might have. They are fast workers, very neat with the work they perform. The entire install took less than a day, they checked that everything was up and running properly before leaving, repeatedly reminded us if we had any questions or concerns that they would be happy to clear up any confusion. They were very patient in explaining the use of the new system, went over the warranty paperwork and made sure we were happy with everything they completed before they left. They even cleaned/swept the tile floor for us. <br /> It was a nice surprise to find the owner of Facemyer at our door to check on our project and be sure we were happy with the work being completed. <br /> <br /> <br />

lRod Farris seemed to know right away what the problem was and why the problem existed. Within a very short time, the existing Igniter was replaced by him as well as the controlling circuit board. Everything was completely back to normal. Thank you Rod and thank you Facemyer A/C and Heating. <br />

Facemyer installed a new 21 Seer Trane air conditioning/heating system in our house. The work was done on time and in a professional manner. Would not hesitate to have them do work for us again and would recommend them to family and friends without hesitation.

When James arrived (slightly early) the fan was functioning properly. Undeterred, he proceeded to logically and professionally isolate the problem; not at all getting frustrated in the process. He absolutely did not wish to allow us to go through a hot weekend without A/C operation and spent the time required to do the job properly. I am a retired electronics engineer and have worked with lab technicians all my career. James rates up there with the best of them in knowing his product and being able to find a malfunctioning part even if it is intermittent in operation. In this case, the Control board, being slightly charred from overheating, was found to be the problem. Going out of his way to obtain a replacement board in a very short time, James got the A/C back in perfect operation before the afternoon was half gone. The Facemyer team consistently operates like this. I have never yet been disappointed in them or their performance. We are very fortunate to have been introduced to this company and highly recommend them to you for your A/C needs. You will never be disappointed either. This work was taken care of under the associated A/C warranty. <br />
