Coastal Comfort

I cannot say enough good things about Coastal Comfort! They came through for me when my A/C was down for 12 days (my then current company, which is a very large player in this market, left me high and dry). I emailed Coastal at night, got a quick reply, and the next day someone was at my house, determined the problem, and next business day got my A/C going. They actually went to the distrubutor to get the needed part, unlike my now former provider who waited for it to be shipped to them. Subsequently, they have done periodic maintenance for me, and emergency repairs on my daughter's condo. Their service people are knowledgeable and neat, and stand behind their work. I heartily recommend them!

Timely and professional. I needed a replacement for my A/C and they walked me through the whole process. I have dealt with other companies in the past and CC has by far been my best experience.

Jason came to my home and found my A/C drain line was plugged up. He cleaned out the line and explained what he was doing without having to be asked. He did a full maintenance check and made sure all was working properly before leaving. A very kind and professional gentleman.

Diagnosis was simple the breaker inside the unit was OFF but their invoice jumped to about $150 and they were rude about the whole thing.

I have the mini splits and it took me two or three to find a company that could work on them and I've finally found one that can work on them. I'm going to have them come back out. I have some remodeling work I'm going to get done, and when I'm done with that I have some more work they are going to do. They charge by the hour, but the way that the guy worked and everything it was well worth it. When someone knows what they are doing they can get a lot done in two hours.6

Technician arrived on time and repair was completed quickly. Its been 4 weeks or so and the repair is still holding. Only complaint is that they have an extra fee if you choose to pay by credit card.

They were super and got the unit running so we could leave town and not worry. On return to town I contacted them and they are in the process of ordering the replacement components. I have used Coastal Comfort for over 6 years and always found them to be responsive, excellent in service and support and fairly and reasonably priced. There service people are always very nice, clean and take the time to explain what they are doing and why.

I would use them again, absolutely. We actually had to call them out to repair something that another company did not do correctly. They were very professional, their technicians knew exactly what the problem was and they were able to repair it and we haven't had any problems with the air conditioning since. It took about a day. There was one technician that came.

I think my favorite thing about them is their fairness and professionalism. They are fair in their pricing and what they are telling me is actuate and they can fix it.

Technician found the problem wire and replaced it with a new one.

The office was very pleasant when I called and service technician was also very pleasant and professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing and helped explain to me how the smart phone app functioned. It was very refreshing to have such a nice service technician compared to what I have experienced in the past with other local AC service companies. I called a few companies to check pricing before choosing Coastal Comfort. They all seemed to be between $90 and $100 for a service call. Having the $25 off angie's list coupon really helped reducing the $98 charge to $73.

John V. was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Most of all, we liked that he had a "heart of a teacher" in that he addressed all of our questions with great knowledge and detail. He educated us on how to maintain our A/C and explained it with great precision and communicated with us throughout the 4-hour service. Unlike another unnamed A/C service provider, Coastal Comfort did not try to sell us on different products and instead focused on the service and preventative maintenance. I would definitely recommend this provider and will be utilizing them in the future again.
