Tropic Aire

Thankful for the annual maintenance and UV bulb replacement that was recently performed by Mr. Percival (didn't get last name). This was year one maintenance, after last years' new HVAC installation. The UV light replacement was not unexpected as it was the old bulb from the prior HVAC system (indicative of good cost consciousness for the consumer). The technician Percival was well-equipped with the latest tools and equipment, and was informative, presentable, courteous, and efficient. We've had decades of experience as a customer of Tropic Aire and are grateful for the knowledge and professionalism of the field and office staff. Thank you for a great install last year, and for keeping our system operating at its best every year!

The services have been very good.

Service Technicians were fine. Office staff rates a big "F". No follow up when the part was past the promise due date, was "put off" after calling again needing technicians back out due to the unit freezing up and leaking water into a newly carpeted room. Notified saying they would NOT be able to come out "too busy". Finally, MANY days after the promised due date, Tropic Aire informs me the coils are on back order and it would be another MONTH before they would be installed. Find another company with better communication skills.

During the estimation phase, Jim Jones came to my house and did a survey.  I already had an idea of the system I wanted and he provided good information and options.  I called him several months later to schedule the work.  There was no pressure.  On the installation day, the crew arrived on time.  The crew was very courteous and professional.  As best as I can tell, they did a first class install and thoroughly tested the system.  Before leaving, they cleaned the area (probably cleaner than when they arrived).  The thermostat operation was explained to me and I was provided an operator's manual.  From start to finish, a great performance.  Another example of why I will only use Angie's List recommendations for jobs that matter! <br />

They are excellent and have fair pricing.

I only had a limited time period to have the HVAC system serviced and they worked with me to accomplish that. Once on site they did a thorough job.

I have used this company 3 times. All experiences have been exemplary. The first visit was a review for modifications and they got my systems back up to snuff. The second visit was a preparation for the upcoming heating season. The third visit, the owner of the company himself, came in for a free estimate on a new system.

I have used Tropic Aire for years and they always do great work. They come right over after giving them a call and they always show up when they say they will. They are a very reliable service provider.
