The appointment was rescheduled by Bloomingdale Air due to their busy schedule and we appreciated their call to advise us well in advance. We requested an overall system check up since we strive to maintain the system and because a technician from another company had recently advised our A/C needed repairs for a significant amount of money. Bloomingdale Air's technician arrived on time and he was courteous, professional, and set to work immediately. The Air Conditioner system was confirmed to be operating with no issues. We were pleased with the service and the technician's professionalism. We were also thankful that the tech followed health & safety protocols with no complaints given the presence of COVID-19 in Florida.

I called Bloomingdale Air around 3pm on a Friday, after discovering my AC was not cooling when I returned home from some errands. An appointment was set for the next day 12-2. Which was awesome since this was Veteran’s Day weekend. David called when he was headed my way and even arrived earlier than the appointment window. However the bad news was my compressor was terminal. David to the time to explain a lot of things about AC to me. And if I choose replacement they only had the following Wednesday available, or it would go to the following week. I did know that the refrigerant in my unit was being phased out (R22) and the unit was 13 years old and had already had a replacement motor and other issues that were found during my home inspection at time of purchase. I asked for quotes on replacing the unit. Bloomingdale Air sent me 3 quotes on various SEER units within a few hours. Before making my decision, I had to wait until my home warranty contractor looked at the unit on MONDAY. Note: they were called at the same time as Bloomingdale Air on Friday. Monday came, same diagnosis and they would turn in paperwork and someone would call me, I also requested quotes on replacement. 0930 Tuesday the call comes from warranty contractor. The cost of the WARRENTY REPAIR $990.00. I have to pay for the replacement R22 at $100.00 a lb. Did I want to Band Aid my 13 year old unit...still spending over $1000.00 to repair and then deal with the rising prices of R22 in the future. They also email me 3 quotes for replacement. which I almost choked on. The one for a comparable system to the one from Bloomingdale Air was $1,500 MORE and that was AFTER a $1,000 discount for a warranty customer. Within minutes (10:42) I am calling Bloomingdale Air, can you still do the job tommorrow. Yes they can. They arrived around 8 am and were here until 4 ish. The unit is beautiful, both inside and out. Everything was explained to me in advance, if I had questions they were answered and I was very comfortable with my decision in hiring Bloomingdale Air. . David & Bill are great people, they want a relationship with you, not just a quick buck. Bill took care of the paperwork for the current TECO rebate and just took it off the bill, and had the rebate sent to them. All I had to do it sign on the bottom line. No extra paperwork. They even set up the inspection appointment for me. From 1st call to total replacement 5 days, and 1 of which was a holiday. I have never heard any bad comments about this company, and they have added a loyal Customer here.? More companies should be like them. AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Sean worked very hard thawing out my A/C and get my air running again. I am very pleased with the work that was done, and for the price, it was worth every penny to get cold air again. Saved me having to purchase a new system!

Sean was punctual and professional. He cleaned my outside unit and briefed me on everything he did. Last year he did an awesome job cleaning my ducts. I will definitely be using this company again.

The installation of the heat pumps and air handlers exceeded my expectations. David, the installer, was very professional and his work was exceptional. Everything was so well done and looked great afterwards. The units worked flawlessly. Due to unforeseen circumstances I sold the home shortly after the installs. The buyer hired an inspector who had several items in his report about the newly installed A/C system. I called Bill Carver (owner of the company) and he walked me through each item. The inspector was wrong in every case. Bill came out to the house and provided detailed documentation for me to give to the buyers real estate agent. I was extremely pleased with the install and follow-ups. You should definitely give them a call if looking for a new A/C in the Brandon FL area. You will not be disappointed.

Replacing an AC unit is a major expense. Bloomingdale Air gave me great confidence in a quality installation without being ripped off. Very knowledgeable and professional technicians created a positive experience.

Changed the capacitor then tested to make sure it was cooling

Conducted an initial visit to identify the issue. Found the problem and provided options to fix the problem. On the follow visit the tech was able to fix the problem within the identified time frame and within the cost estimate. I would definitely use this company again.

Drain line clear d and installed a clean out where I can put bleach in the line to keep algie from growing.
