Jay and Jayden provided my 1-year HVAC inspection on my new home. They were very professional and thorough. I appreciated how Jay described his problem-solving thought process for an issue I described to him. Every step and process was explained respectfully. I definitely feel comfortable having them service my HVAC system in the future.

Jay and his team did a wonderful job of explaining how to use and how to maintain my newly installed unit. He tighten up the fit and finish of the new installation and he was very patient and explained everything to me. He is a great representative of someone who cares about the quality of the work he does. I would recommend Jay to be the onsite Service Manager for all installs at Puckett's HVAC.

This was our 11 month HVAC inspection so it was covered under warranty. Jay and Jaylen (sp?) were friendly, professional, and extraordinarily thorough. They explained everything completely and answered all the questions we had. This is our first interaction with Puckett and I have to say that if the company overall is as good as these two men are, I will highly recommend their services to everyone. We also intend to sign up for their twice yearly maintenance plan. Although it doesn't allow me to say so below, this service did not cost us anything.

Had some duct damage due to a frozen pipe burst flood. Puckett's was more than willing to assess and repair. Jay came out and he was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, professional, thorough, quick and super friendly! I will definitely recommend Puckett's to my friends and neighbors.

What a great company. I had an emergency, no heat. I called first thing this morning and they had Jay here by 8:15 am. By 2:30 this afternoon, I had heat! Jay is very efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company for heating and air conditioning problems!

Puckett’s Heating & Air conditioning provides consistently reliable service to our home in Easton, Md. My wife & I purchased the new - single family house in 2022/2023. The developer of the home, Wes Schuman, selected Puckett’s HVAC to install a Goodman HVAC unit. Goodman HVAC unit - systems have always been installed at other homes we have owned in other states. We wanted to ensure continuity of service with the original installer, Puckett’s HVAC. The owner of Puckett’s is available by phone and he also has offered excellent service delivery with Jay Otero. My wife and I are very happy and confident with the competent service and genial staff and personnel at their office. We recommend them to everyone on the Eastern Shore of Maryland / Delaware. Would highly recommend Pucketts for your HVAC needs! Mike and his team replaced our entire hvac system including all new duct work. They did a great job! They respected our home, they worked fast, and efficient. We did have some hiccups after installation but Mike was always quick to respond and rectify any issues. We are very happy with our end result and would highly recommend this company.

Excellent service! Mike worked hand and glove with my Delmarva energy auditor to find the most efficient heat pump system and best rebate. Mike always responded to my questions quickly and courteously. HVAC is a big ticket item and I was anxious about it. Puckett's Heating & Air Conditioning company installed a whole house A/C heating system and a split system in our 3 season room in one day. The workers very knowledge and very polite.

I've used Puckett's Heating and Air several times and would recommend them to anyone! Both for annual service and emergency response they are incredibly timely, knowledgeable, and helpful. Any time I've had work done to repair my AC or furnace they always explain what the problem is and how they are going to fix it, don't try to upsell me on things I don't need, and make recommendations I can trust. Couldn't be happier with their service!

After several bad experiences with other HVAC companies, my contractor recommended Puckett's. What a difference! Mike was unfailingly responsive and helpful. He and his team installed Mitsubishi mini splits in my home just in time for the brutal heat this summer. Any questions or issues I had, he responded immediately. I highly recommend this company.

Updated 9/18/2025: The owners response is entirely incorrect, My thermostat had been replaced 14 months prior to their visit. And there was no wiring issue with my thermostat and Mike, the technician straight out lied when he said he fixed that. He looked at it the begining of the visit and said it was wired incorrectly. He went on and on about how my bills must have been through the roof, which they were not. I explained repeatedly that thermostat was not new and no one had touched the wiring since it was installed and that issue at had was clearly generated from the recent maintenance call. He fixed the wiring issue on the heat pump that was created when the previous team had replaced the capacitor. And then when he looked at the thermostat again, he declared the wiring was correct now and he claimed that he had rewired it. I was present for the whole visit and he NEVER rewired my thermostat. The wiring is exactly same as when it was installed. And I have tried several times via email to obtain the remaining balance of the preventive service plan since I am longer going to use this company and the owner has refused. So in summary, I paid $400 for a $20 capacitor and $185 biannual maintenance plan and now I have a system that is not working as intended and I am out the $92 for the second visit included in the biannual maintenance plan. And the BBB did not "deny my request", they closed the complaint as it their practice. First part of Review: I signed up for a yearly HVAC maintenance plan with this company ($185 for two visits over the year). My system was working completely fine beforehand, but after their technician’s visit, the system was blowing heat rather than an AC. Because of their errors, I had to schedule two more service calls. The second call (outside unit only because I was not able to be home) resulted in the power being lost to the thermostat. The third technician was extremely rude: he repeatedly yelled that he didn’t know why he was there as no one has let him know ahead of the visit what had happened so far, insisted the issue must be my thermostat (even though it had never been touched since installation), and refused to acknowledge the obvious connection to their recent work. Only after much back and forth did he admit there was a switched wire error from when the capacitor was replaced. Despite that admission, I was still billed $175 for a service call caused entirely by their mistake, and that charge was only rescinded when I complained. I never received a formal apology for the technician’s behavior. During that visit and ever since, I can now smell the wood of the attic air coming through the supply vents which means the air intake is now pulling from the super-heated attic air, which increases the wear and tear on my system as well as increases my electricity bills. Once I realized what was happening and how this would affect my system, I contacted the company. I was told it would be a fully charged service visit if they did not find anything. At that point, I told them I no longer trusted this company, given how everything had been handled, and requested a refund of 50% of my yearly maintenance plan. The owner’s only solution was to retroactively convert my yearly maintenance plan into a one-time service call ($150). That meant instead of being refunded the $92 value of the unused second maintenance visit, I was only offered $35 back. This doesn’t come close to making things right, especially since I still must hire another company to fix the issues they created. I made the owner aware of this lack of adequate solution via email. It has been 13 days and the owner has not responded. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. I cannot recommend this company. I strongly advise others to seek HVAC service elsewhere.

Pucketts HVAC and your Team Guy "Jay" ARE THE BEST! Jay represents the best in our young people today!!! He is courteous, funny, professional and effective. ALWAYS ON TIME!
