ADJ did a wonderful job installing a new hvac system. The staff answered all of my questions during installing. The clean up afterwards was outstanding. Great job. Will use again as the need arises.

Process is very user friendly from settling the appointment to the on site inspection. Personnel is always very accommodating.

The team at ADJ Stamford was EXCEPTIONAL. My parents' air conditioner went out during a major heat wave last Friday, and we were very concerned for their health and safety. Michelle, Joe, and the rest of the team answered calls quickly, and were so kind and empathetic, despite what must have been an extremely chaotic day. They understood how worried we were, and assured me they would get there within two hours, and they did! Mike fixed everything quickly and professionally, and everyone from receptionist to tech to management were accessible and just the nicest team who really listened and cared.

ADJ has serviced my HVAC’s for many years. Recently they did a semiannual service of my gas fired furnace, which was only 11 years old. Although everything looked good, the furnace did not fire up. After multiple visits and a replacement of a part, it was determined that I needed a new furnace. Three days later they removed my old furnace and installed a new one. Everybody from ADJ, from the persons that diagnosed the problem, to those in installed the new furnace, were knowledgeable, professional and pleasure to be around. I highly recommend ADJ and look forward to our continued association.

Out of meeting 4 HVAC companies and getting quotes from all. ADJ was the most thorough, honest, kind, responsive and brought the best value and service than the others. They’ve been in business over 40 years and the crew that came to our house to installed two central heating and AC units have worked for ADJ for over 20 years! These guys knew what they were doing and they were so kind and respectful of our home during the installation. They even took a few minutes out of their day to spend playing with my 3 rescue dogs in the yard. I was sad when they left. They were so awesome to be around. I would recommend these guys to everyone! They did a flawless job and we couldn’t be happier!

We moved into a new house that had a 17 year old unit that was not working efficiently. The previous owners had recommended ADJ so we called them first to get diagnostics and see how we could fix our extremely warm house. It was a hot summer so they weren’t able to come right away because their schedule was so busy, but it was worth the wait. Not only did they install a new unit—they helped us maximize our efficiency, improve circulation by recalculating the actual sq ftage and BTUs needed, and prioritize the cooling in our frequently-used family room. Fair price, professional and top-notch!

Since my first call to ADJ, my experience as a customer has been superb. The team made an appointment to inspect my hot water system promptly and explained how they would go about replacing the 75-gallon unit, which is situated in the attic of my house, accessible only through a closet. This is not an easy job but the ADJ team planned it perfectly and took great care to protect my hardwood floors and white carpeting. They left my house cleaner than they found it after my new hot water system was meticulously tested. The work was done most professionally, including a detailed proposal at a reasonable price for the equipment and labor this job required. ADJ gets my highest recommendation!

We have been using ADJ for over 10 years. We appreciate the reminder calls to have our a/c serviced every year. They have beenquick to respond to problems and have maintained and repaired our a/c compressors to avoid replacement. Technicians are timely in our experience. Just had Technician Mitch service our home. We were very pleased with his professionalism and service.

My experience with ADJ was wonderful. Everyone in the office was pleasant and answered my questions and concerns promptly. Started using ADJ for maintenance of my A/C and heating unit. Technician Mitch was on time, courteous and answered the many questions I had. He made adjustment to make sure system worked more efficiently and I felt that he really cared about doing a good job. I am very pleased with the experience. It was a pleasure to work with Joe. We moved from Manhattan and were referred to ADJ by the prior owners of our new home. All but 1 of the 4 HVAC systems in the home were original units from 95, and Joe was able to guide us and provide fair pricing on the install of new units. He also coordinated to have Billy and his team do the install on the unit above my son's bedroom within a short timeframe before we moved into the home. Honest, responsive, and experienced professionals. We will recommend ADJ.

We hired them to inspect and quote on a house we were purchasing. Home inspector indicated that only 1 of the 4 ac systems worked, but he wanted an HVAC specialist to review and quote. ADJ inspected and said that there were actually 2 working units, but that both needed to having their heating coils replaced. We asked for a quote to replace all 4 units as the 2 units were pretty old and probably not worth investing in. A few weeks later, having bought the house, we ask for an official write-up for the 2 units that worked but needed heating coils replaced (they were more urgent) and get a number 25% higher. This was based on the same information they originally had when they gave us the quotes because there was no follow-up visit. We also explained that only 1 of the systems worked and were told that it either a) the other system did work, or b) must have died after their inspection. Except our home inspector noted the system wasn't working prior to their inspection. We asked why the quote went up so much and were told that the original quote didn't include replacing the heating coils, just the AC system. After a lot of back and forth, they eventually agreed the heating coils should have already been included and then began making other false and internally inconsistent claims. Ultimately, after pointing out that all of the reasons they wanted to charge extra money made no sense given that they already knew all of the issues and had no new information when they quoted it a second time only a few weeks later, the guy decided he did not need to honor a quote from earlier because it was "just a verbal quote". I am shocked given their size and reputation how comfortable they feel telling lie after lie that, for the most part, are easily disproved by a paper trail.

Very professional company. Phone always answered promptly. All my questions answered by knowledgeable people, including the owner. Joe came over the my house to explain everything. Gave me a lot of information. Really appreciate their great customer service. Highly recommend.

ADJ of Stamford Inc. recently installed a central air conditioning system in my home and did an excellent job with this project. I've used ADJ for many years now,and,so far ,it's mostly been a good experience,the owners are responsive.They installed my new a/c and furnace about 10 yrs ago,,works well,no issues,recently installed a humidifier which really helps.A few of their annual maintenance guys in the past were not great,hence the 4 stars,but Billy of recent years does a very good job with maintenance.
