Carlos really was great and pulled through on his services! Heater went out during peak of cold and he was able to get it running. He even showed us how to work and turn on our space heater if we ever had the problem again. 10/10 would recommend for any hvac needs

Also gave us a good price on their annual air conditioning service. Very pleased with his service and grateful they work on Sundays. BEWARE!!! My system was blowing hot air and my wife called Visalia First Air Conditioning out to make repairs. He told us that the compressor was locked and the unit was drawing high amps. He spent an hour with a water hose trying to cool down the unit. He couldn’t get it started. He told us the unit would most likely need to be replaced and since it was an older unit it would be upwards of 10 thousand dollars. Before proceeding I looked at the unit myself. 2 of the wires were burnt off the compressor terminals, I repaired the wiring and unit is running good. I called Carlos to ask how the unit was reading high amps if 2 of the wires were disconnected and why I was charged 175 dollars when he failed to fix the unit. He refused to refund my money, so my only recourse is to leave a review. This is the first negative review I have ever left before. I just don’t want others to spend money unnecessarily. Hire a real professional and steer clear of this guy!

Carlos is fast and reliable, gets the job done! Called him about my ac going out and he was at my house with in a hour.

Just the best in emergency service on a Sunday. Answered phone right away and scheduled an appointment same day within a couple hours. Came out and diagnosed the problem, went back and got the part he needed, came back and repaired the furnace which would not turn on. This guy agreed to meeting at my place at 3pm and never called me I call him at almost 4pm and tells me 8pm it gets to 9 and he shows up, he right away had a bad salesman attitude and tried to give me a whole seminar on my ac problems I knew he was going to up sell me on a transformer. When I told him I don’t trust his work he had to climb back on my roof to get his tools and stole a switch or fuse that cost me another 200 dollars don’t go to this guy he’s a thief!!

I had called Visalia First and left a message in need of service. Dummy me, forgetting my new homes AC is under warranty. I called them (the warranty) and set up an appointment for this evening. Visalia First tech called me back about 2 minutes later returning my original call. . I respectfully decided their service because there wasn't any need for it anymore. The gentleman walked me through some easy fixes so that I wouldn't have to wait 4 hours for my appointment. He offered to check it out anyway after his current job which was right around the corner, to see if it is an easy fix. He was beyond helpful caring and I felt like a priority.

My A/C was making a humming noise when I got home from work and it was 88° inside. I set it to 77° when I’m away, so I knew there was a problem. I googled Visalia Air Conditioning and came across this business. I called Carlos around 6pm, he was here at 8, and by 9 he had replaced the blower motor in my unit, and was able to take my credit card on the spot. The air is blowing with a lot more force than before and the house is cooling quickly. I 100% recommend Carlos and Visalia First Heating & Air a conditioning. Thank you for the great service!
