We have limped along with a slowly failing Lennox system for the last 9 months; other vendors told us there was nothing they could do because our system was too old and refrigerant was not available. That was not the case. Ramon checked the system out and we have a system with newer refrigerant. Ramon was able to address our issue and our system is now running well. We will need an updated system in the future and will have Acosta perform the work. Great job and Kudos to Acosta and Ramon.

Awesome job! I would give 10 stars if that was an option. I had my HVAC system replaced today and was so impressed with the installation. I received a couple of estimates and after meeting with Jesse Acosta, $1500 less than the other estimate, and seeing all of the five star reviews it was an easy decision. The crew was professional, fast, knowledgeable, worked well together, informative and did a good clean up job. I will now be enrolling in their maintenance plan. I recently utilized Acosta Heating and Air Conditioning to replace my 35-year-old furnace which was no longer safe to use as well as my 35-year-old central air conditioning system. This company had done the servicing of my old HVAC system for the past three years so I trusted them to give me an honest estimate for the work to be performed. Jesse and his staff are professional, courteous and helpful including the office staff. The proposal/contract was very thorough and there were no surprises. Luis and his team who did the installation showed up on time, completed it in one day, and cleaned up very nicely. Luis’ recommendations were valid so I had the old registers replaced throughout my home as well. I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.

I highly recommend Acosta Heating and Air for all your HVAC needs. They installed a complete heat pump system to replace my old gas fueled system, along with new ducting and grills and a whole house fan. Their pricing was very reasonable, the crew was polite, competent and neat. Working with Danny to select what I needed was easy and pleasant, and I especially want to compliment Eli and the rest of the crew on their professionalism and competence. One of the best home improvement projects I’ve had done.

Great service and fair pricing. Jesse, the owner, Ramon, and the entire staff are a pleasure to work with. They provided their proposal on a Wednesday and, so that my elderly mother didn't have to suffer with the heat any longer, had her A/C unit installed the next day. This was the third time using them and when the fourth comes around they will be my go to company.

The Acosta heating company did a great job in completely rebuilding our air and heating system, fixing a number of issues left by the original builders. They installed a dual level system that works great. Jesse and Ramon have always been easy to work with, quickly respond to calls and as we had one small problem, quickly came back to make the adjustments. We are very satisfied with their work and would recommend.

I would not recommend this company. The accounting department will run a credit card that is not approved and invoice you as well. Wanting double payment No one with the company will call you back to resolve the issue. I have called several times and left messages. They told me Jackie would call me back but still no call. I am having to call the credit card company and report fraud.

I've had them out twice, once to fix my heater, and now to repair the AC. Both times they showed up on time and restored my system with minor repairs. I can't say enough about their professionalism and fair prices

I replaced my old HVAC system with a new Samsung Heat Pump purchased from Acosta HVAC. The buying process can be confusing because each local company typically specializes in one or two major brands so every quote you get will typically be for different systems and the comparison can be difficult to fully understand. However, every company has said that the "installation" is the most important part of the process. I went with Jesse Acosta because they are a locally owned and operated business and Jesse was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. The installation process went very smoothly and his crew was friendly, professional, and provided me with 100% satisfaction. I would highly recommend Acosta HVAC in the Conejo Valley.

From start to finish, Acosta was responsive, professional, and provided excellent workmanship. Unlike so many other contractors, who come across as arrogant these days, the Acosta team was humble and exceedingly responsive to any questions I had. They provided excellent workmanship in a timely manner, laid out paper to protect the carpeting, and cleaned up meticulously after they finished the job. They installed a new heating unit for us, which heats beautifully, and unlike other AC and heating companies, they even said that they could service or provide maintenance to our swamp cooler (we live in Ojai) when needed. I would highly recommend Acosta to anybody in need of heating or AC installation or maintenance.

Highly recommend Jesse and Acosta HVAC. Fairly priced, great service. The personal touch Jesse provides is great. He shows up at the inception of the job and checks in on the progress. He set up a time to come by and made sure I understood everything s few days after installation. The workers were great as well. When they left the first day they left the house cleaner than when they got there. They showed up on time and worked hard all day. They were also super friendly. I had been on the market to upgrade my HVAC for sometime but couldn't seemed to find a company that seemed trustworthy and with reasonable prices. I was browsing through Yelp and came across Acosta I called spoke to Yvette she was very knowledgeable and kind she was able to have someone come and look at my system the same day! I then met Danny he was so awesome well dressed and professional I express to him my concerns and my budget he then proceeded to show me my options he made sure I was aware of the system I was getting. The technician was timely, courteous, knowledgeable and clean. Wore booties in the house, cleaned up after himself and was well prepared for the services he provided. We purchased our Trane unit several years ago and Jesse and his team have keep it running well with annual servicing at a reasonable price. I’ve recommended Jesse to three of my neighbors and they all installed Trane heating and air conditioning units. I have lived in WoodRanch for over 25 years, and have used Jesse and his team at Acosta Heating and Air-conditioning the entire time. He replaced my air-conditioning unit and continues to maintain my furnace, AC, and Water Heater. Recently he installed several Fans in my bathroom, a dehumidifier, and my thermostat, all installed expertly. I called 4 places for an air conditioning quote. Acosta had the most thorough quoting process and the price was good. Jesse seemed most knowledgeable of all the companies that bid my job. I never had the sense I was talking to a salesman. I had 6 yr old furnaces. He explained SEERs, so that I could evaluate the cost/payback, and I agreed with Jesse that replacing furnaces now, to get more efficient air conditioning was probably not cost effective for me. He was a strong advocate for permitting the job to avoid future problems when selling the house someday. This gave me confidence that Jesse is used to doing things right. I was not disappointed. Best of all Jesse is a good communicator. When install issues or options came up he gave me choices. When I had questions he called back quickly. His guys were courteous, clean and on time. A pretty good experience overall.

I used Acosta to completely revamp my HVAC system which was original to the home. They did a wonderful job while being quick, clean, and communicative. I would definitely recommend their work and I will be coming back to Acosta HVAC the next time I need service. Update: I've since used Acosta again to replace my dryer vent and again they knocked the job out of the park. Reasonable pricing, prompt scheduling, and incredibly thorough work (they even patched my drywall in places the previous owners had left open). I can't recommend Acosta highly enough.

My 30 year old heater broke down over the Christmas holiday. I called Acosta HVAC for a second bid. I'm glad I did. Jesse Acosta personally provided the bid that same day (lower than the other company), scheduled the replacement with a new high efficient and quiet natural gas forced air unit. The installation looks clean and professional. The workers that installed the unit carefully blanketed the area to avoid dust in our closet and then explained everything to me. Within 24 hours of first calling Acosta our home was back warm and comfortable. I have Acosta HVAC in my contacts and will do my future business with them!

The Acosta team are thorough and easy to work with. I have seen some reviews on here complaining about price. I'm absolutely positive you could probably find somebody to say that they can do anything that Acosta for less money. And sure, somebody else will probably have a brand new air conditioning unit placed inside of your home. The one thing that you will not be able to get from anyone else is the quality. Buying the system is only a very small portion of the installation process. The quality and attention to detail of the Acosta team is the best I have ever seen. To put it in simple terms, it's like if you bought a car with a perfectly running engine but the doors are falling off and the radio doesn't work. You would naturally say that the car is a lemon. The same thing is true with an HVAC system. Just because the furnace and air conditioner function fully doesn't mean the system functions. Jesse and the Acosta team will make sure that you have an entire system that works as well as it possibly could.

Jesse Acosta and his crew did a wonderful job on installing new vents in the attic and putting in a new heater and air conditioner. Jesse came up with ideas that the other companies that I interviewed never even thought of. He came over several times to make sure the job was done well and even crawled up in the attic himself to make the final adjustments. The price was good, and the house is nice and warm.

I called Acosta Heating and Air conditioning, Inc, in Thousand Oaks, CA, and I was very impressed by the attention to detail, knowledge, and customer service they provided. Jesse, the owner, visited our home in Simi Valley and carefully inspected our air conditioner and central heating and air unit. He answered all my questions and was very honest with his assessment. The bottom line we needed to replace the unit, coil and lines, and Jesse provided us with the best options for our needs at a reasonable price. I never felt he pushed us into anything we didn't need. Nor did he try to add cost to the project. Acosta finished the project on time and with no hassles. The work was top notch. I am extremely satisfied with Acosta Heating and Air Conditioning and would highly recommend to anyone in need of service or installation.

Professional, friendly and respectful! Great experience all around. Not once did I feel like I was being ripped off or being pressured to purchase a service that wasn’t needed. As someone that doesn’t know anything about our AC unit or furnace, they told me what they did so that I wasn’t in the dark and answered all my questions and concerns. Jesse Acosta was prompt to come out and give me a bid to replace my central air/heat/ducts. His price was very reasonable and the work was all done in 1 day! They covered areas to keep them dust free and even covered their shoes! I highly recommend them!

I have known Jesse Acosta for over 22 years. He installed our A/C system 22 years ago and today was the total new TRANE HVAC system replacement because it finally gave out after all those years.
