My husband and I own a Pioneer HVAC split system. We could not find a company in the town of Lodi that would work on it because it lost all its Freon and a hose was loose. They said if they didn’t install it, they wouldn’t work on it. Upton Air To the rescue!! Not only was the wonderful woman in the office who answered my phone, courteous, polite, and so understanding Matt, the tech who came out, Deserves five gold stars!! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and Had a wonderful sense of humor! I thoroughly enjoyed his means of transportation when he arrived not on his white horse to save the day, but his white spider! Would recommend Upton air to everybody!

Matt installed a new unit at my place a year ago and has performed maintenance a couple times since. His team did great work with the installation, but when he came by for the most recent maintenance, he actually took the time to clean up some of my yard around the unit, completely unprompted! Something you could only ever expect from a real local business and great guy. Highly recommend.

Upton was referred to us by our main contractor. It was a follow up To a horribly expensive evaluation from our HVAC installer. Matt fixed the MINOR problem and saved us a fortune. Quick, professional, and easy to work with. Upton is now our service provider. They’re great!

I won a washable air filter at an event they were a vendor at. Matt came all the way to our house near Ione and did the install and gave us a free temp check. He told us his story about how the company came to be and it's a great story! He was extremely kind, personable, and professional. I will definitely be giving him a call if I have any future HVAC needs! 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommend this company. I had AC unit replaced yesterday. Matthew came out, was on time for the initial inspection and appt to have unit replaced. He was very friendly and professional and explained to me how the new thermostat works as well as provided updates on the progress. I work from home and he was very understanding to that and made it very easy to work without distraction while he got the job done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

With the recent chill we discovered our furnace was not working. Upton came through and scheduled an appointment that same day. The technician Matt was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, and was able to detect and fix the problem. We had heat and a warm home by dinner time! Very pleased by the excellent service!!

Upton replaced both of our home HVAC units and has been servicing both our home and our commercial property for several years. Matt and his team are honest, prompt, and knowledgeable. Rosalind, the office manager, does a superb job of coordinating services with multiple tenants and is super responsive and flexible. I highly recommend Upton and will continue to use them for our future HVAC needs.

Wonderful service from Upton Air and its owner, Matt. Upton Air was my second opinion on a furnace issue, Matt spent a great deal of time diagnosing and giving me multiple options. The most important thing I felt from the visit was that he was truly honest and wanting to help. This is a sharp contrast to many companies who just want to sell you a product/service. Without coming out and saying so, the main feeling I got from Matt was that he was looking to make "customers for life" not just that day, or that problem, and so we will be continuing to use Upton Air as well as recommending them.

I will always give his company 5 stars because they deserve it! Mathew and Rosalind were amazing to work with. They are prompt, courteous and extremely responsive. Mathew treats his customers with respect and is always friendly and a pleasure to deal with . Mathew helped me to get my HVAC unit replaced after a very tough year and when expenses were tight he and his company were helpful, even gave financing options and were informative and genuinely cared about me as a customer. The work was perfect (Mathew also replaced all of the ducting in my home when I bought it 2 years ago) and my HVAC is working great. I highly recommend this company they are amazing! Will definitely recommend and use again!

Great customer service. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Upton Air replaced an old AC unit with a state of the art, energy efficient and affordable unit converting from natural gas to electric. They do water heaters too!

Matt was extremely attentive, quick and beyond helpful. I had 4 quotes and he was the winner ! He was up front and honest about everything, explained the process and was not pushy. Having him and his crew here was like they weren't even here! He even helped me put up a banner for a store I had opened. Who does that! Superior service going above and beyond for his clients . Matt at Upton Air Heating & Air Conditioning was extremely polite, professional and friendly. He explained all the work he did and how to use the new equipment. I have been working with Upton Air for several years now with great satisfaction. Shortly after taking control of a shaved snow/gelato business in Carmichael called Vampire Penguin , my HVAC unit crashed just as summer kicked into high gear. Upton Air responded promptly and quickly diagnosed the issues with the machine. The original time frame for replacement was about 3 weeks, but due to the diligence of Matt and Rosalind, they were able to find a unit locally and coordinate the install. So in a few words: dependability, competence, fair pricing. Bravo Upton Air !

Matt always takes care of us quickly and efficiently. He does his best to keep costs down, using his considerable knowledge of our system. We're lucky to have Matt servicing our units.

Do not use this company, the only positive thing I can say is that the owner was very polite. I had them replace all my duct work on 06/27/22 for a cost of $3600.00. I got a text from one of the workers letting me know his ladder slipped and did damage on one wall. When I returned home after the installation there was debris everywhere that came out of the vents, and I mean everywhere. I then crawled up to look into the attic and immediately saw exposed ductwork that had insulation ripped off due to their installation of the straps. I also noticed a area of ducting that was not even replaced. I called the owner, Matt and he did offer for a cleaning company to come out but we had already been cleaning up the mess due to the fact that we had no other option, we live here. Matt also said he told his technician to tie into the existing duct as it was to low for him to get to. If that's the case then why am I paying for all duct to be changed out if they were only going to to change most of it. The company ultimately came out the next day to "fix" everything. They put some Stucco on the wall and supposedly fixed all the issues in the attic. If I hadn't have looked in the attic to check their work I would have never known that it wasn't much better than what they took out. They even used the old straps until they came out the second time. Never once did they offer any kind of discount for the inconvenience or mess. Today, 07/18/22 I checked my a/c to make sure there was no leaks. I found a huge handful of insulation that was in there from the installation, picture will be attached if I can. So disappointed with this company. Pictures attached are of their work, not how it was before, also pictures of the mess.

Ken Kelley recommended Upton Air to fix or check my air conditioning unit. My fear was I was going to need a new unit! Nope! There was a leak in the Freon part, Dave, the service man, put in a sealant and 2 units of Freon and saved me TONS OF MONEY! Thank you, Ken! Thank you, Upton! Happy old lady here!

I have used Upton multiple times for our home and our rental and have always been highly impressed with the their professionalism, honesty and quality of work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of heating and air services.

Matt came to my house to try and get my heat working. I have a very old unit so I knew it would be difficult. He found the problem and started calling suppliers to find the part. He found the part in Stockton and went to pick it up. When he returned he installed the part but the unit wouldn't stay on. I told him I would pay for what he had done so far and asked for an estimate for a new unit. He said no. He really wanted to get my unit working. After trying a few more things the unit stayed on. When he put the covers back on the unit worked just fine. Because the unit is so old, he checked the house for carbon monoxide. He recommended that I get a carbon monoxide alarm. I will be using Matt and Upton Air in the future. Matt was very professional and cared about my safety. He worked on my unit for over 3 hours so I could have heat.

Had a furnace replaced. Everyone at Upton Air was incredibly friendly and professional, showed up exactly when they said they would, great around my dogs, and work was completed ahead of schedule. Will certainly be going back when it comes time to replace my aging A/C and any other HVAC needs.
