We recently purchased our home built in 1984, and to our surprise, it had the original air conditioning unit. With limited funds after the home purchase, we began using the AC during the summer, only to be shocked by our first bill of nearly $1200! Though we managed to reduce our electric bill to around $700 by limiting usage of the AC and other appliances, it was still tough dealing with the unbearable heat at times. When my unit stopped working I decided to replace it so I contacted them and within hours Maynor a technician and sales representative arrived at my house. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He quickly assess the best unit that would satisfy the need to work efficiently in my home. He was very clear and detailed how the new unit would work and explained the new features the new unit would have and how it would benefit our family. I appreciated Maynor honesty in explaining our options and not trying to upsell us. Amazing service! Started with the owner himself coming out and showing you options and making you feel comfortable that it’s going to be done right. 11 years ago we had problems with our A/C at that time we quoted a few companies and they all had different diagnoses and sky-high prices. At a fair in the city where we live we met the guys from Macawsome, they came to my house, gave me the diagnosis and a good price for the repair. Now 11 years after that good job, my old A/C failed, I found the receipt and the business card of these guys and we called them, the same guys who came 11 years ago came to my house, they inspected my A/C and like the last time they were very honest about the problem and gave me my options, because of their honesty and affordable price we decided change the entire system. My wife and I are very happy for the good work they did, the experience, the detailing , the guarantee and the years in the business we know that they are trustworthy people we will not have problems for many many years. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Responsive, honesty, and just overall did an amazing job. My A/C unit went out during the midst of a heatwave. I called one of the big boys and they said they would be at my house between 12-4. No one ever showed up. At 5:30 I called and spoke directly to the owner, Maynor. He responded and said he would be there in 45 minutes. He went above and beyond! These guys are the real deal!

Macawesome is the only business I would trust to do any Air Conditioning work on my home. My entire family has used Maynor and his team for their homes and he is friendly, communicative, and most importantly, he is honest. When another company told me I needed a whole new unit, Maynor was able to fix my problem by doing maintenance on my filter. Great communication and customer service. I’ve experienced poor attitude from other contractors who act as if they’re doing me a favor as opposed to treating me like a valued customer. On top of that, I was previously charged for services that weren’t necessary and my a/c still didn’t work properly. I felt that Macawesome provided good honest work and gave me a fair estimate.

We discovered this company right before this summer at the Maclin Open Air Market and we are so glad we stopped to say hello and check out what they have to offer! We were on the hunt for a new AC unit, for our Ducts to get replaced, and a new smart thermostat. They were able to give us a deal we couldn’t turn down and customer service that made us happy to do business with them. They got everything up and running within a few days and made our set up look beautiful and did a really clean job. They got our house nice and cool right before the summer and we are now enjoying a warm home as winter approaches. We can’t be more thankful for Maynor and the fantastic job he and his crew did. After doing our due diligence of getting 3 quotes to replace our entire system, thankfully Macawsome was one of the ones we called. Not only did they offer to move my system to a new spot so it wouldn’t be visible in my back yard, but the system itself is beautiful compared to the traditional big bulky unit. My AC went out during the worst heat wave yet of the summer. I have my 81 year old mom that lives with me and suffers from several potential life threatening ailments. I contacted my home warranty company Old Republic who are fantastic and they dispatched my AC issue to Macawesome heating and air. The tech was literally awesome! He diagnosed the issue with expertise, made expert repairs and got my AC back up and running in no time! I thought the unit was dead, but the Macawesome tech brought it back to life. I am so grateful for this company and their wonderful experienced techs.
