Cleaning dryer vent was long overdue since clothes were taking forever to dry and the laundry room felt too warm they cleared out a lot of buildup and the dryer works better now

I wanted to upgrade indoor air quality, so I hired a professional, and the difference is amazing!! Breathing feels so much easier

They were good at first but the last time is not , their pricing is terrible.

they didn't tell me in advance that there would be an extra charge or how much (i eventually got it reduced from $160 to $99 + resigning as a customer) to troubleshoot a problem during a planned maintenance ($185) visit today. apparently, the tech, who told me he was on the job for only 6 weeks with this company, took too long at my house, so they wanted to charge additional for his time, all of which he told me about when he was almost done (and when i objected, he recommended that i call the service manager to try to work it out). i have been working with this company for 10 years, and up until recently, they were fantastic and i would have rated them an A. during the past year, however, their customer service and professionalism have declined significantly in quality. i can no longer recommend them as a provider. i will look for a new company to service my systems and (soon) to install a replacement of the older unit. i know this will cost around $9000, maybe a little more, so i don't understand what's going on. i'm very surprised and disappointed they wouldn't try to keep me on as a customer by waiving (in full) the charge for the troubleshooting they didn't tell me about beforehand. last time they were here, they said it was the thermostat, which they replaced for over $200. that didn't solve it, so now they think it's the control board ($1600), and the problem continues. ps . . . it's hard to choose a rating when the tech was OK but dealing with management over the phone was unpleasant and generally ineffective.

Excellent job. Totally professional from estimate to installation. Technicians were well prepared, completely professional, neat clean and careful with everything. They met all the specifications of our HOA and were pleasant, friendly and on task with everything. New Carrier unit works great and meets low noise requirements of our neighbors . We are very pleased. We would use them again. We received 5 bids and General was most honest and most thorough in what we needed. Price was reasonable for what we wanted and needed. We are very cool and it's been over 100 many days since the install, so we are pleased that we didn't wait any longer!

RED FLAG!! AMATEURS! AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COST!! Two years ago we replaced our heat & a/c units and did some duct work with General. After several bids we decided to go with them since Phillip (owner's son) came out twice to the house and seemed knowledgeable and trust worthy. We were so mistaken!! It was a nightmare since day 1. I wanted to write this review when they initially did the work but didnt get around to it. During install they had left the gas lines open and left the house. We got home from work to fumes! after spending 15K for the work. The unit never worked correctly from the get go. Several attempts were made by their workers to fix the issue. They either couldnt figure it out or didnt want to do the work. After about 5 or 6 tries of back and forth and hours spent baby sitting their techs we had to threaten to sue the company for them to finally change the faulty part. It gets better! Last year the coldest week of winter the heat stopped working. They came and had to order a part which took days so we were without heat when we needed it the most. This year AGAIN! the coldest week of the year the heat stops working. Same part broke! Over a week of no working heat. WE called another company out to diagnose it and they said to ask general to do the repairs since they were responsible for it. After several techs out we still have no working heat! this is a brand new unit and we've had their techs over to repair it about a dozen or so times. Todays tech says that the pressure has been off from the beginning causing the other part to keep breaking. NIGHTMARE!! Either we got a faulty unit or these guys have no idea what they are doing. In both cases they need to make this right! So far.. they have not. TAKE YOUR CHANCES WITH SOMEONE ELSE!

Wore shoe covers to keep house clean. Only took half hour to 45 minutes.

They did a great job. Their technician was knowledgeable and friendly. When they were walking in and out of the house, they put some booties on to make sure to not get my house dirty.

I have used them for about 6 years.  they maintain my two furnace/ ac units.  they installed two new compressors over the years. <br />   they are professional and helpful. <br />

This was my first time using the company. They came right out for the appointment. Everything went pretty good.

I have been using them for about two years. They come out each year for routine inspections. I have not had any troubles with scheduling and they arrived on time to the appointment. They do not initiate the filter exchange. On the last visit, I had the new filters available and I had to ask the technician to change them out. I think they could be more proactive about this basic service.

I have been using their services for about ten years. I have never had a problem with someone not showing up. They have been very accommodating with scheduling as well.  Overall, my experience with them has been fine.

They were on time, professional, and the new system works fine. Some of the wall patching was a little messy but easily cleaned up. <br />
