WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I had one of my A/Cs go out last year. Crispy Air came out and I decided to replace both A/C's. This was a massive blow to me as a first time homeowner but I figured it was the right thing to do. So I went ahead and spent the 22k to do so using Crispy Air. We had issues from the very start with the downstairs a/c. It would just stop working. Not once but MULTIPLE TIMES. Crispy Air comes out and does something to get it going and then provides me with some non-sense reason like "It wasn't calibrated correctly" or "wire came loose". The last time this happened was back in June. They came out again, which they are great at doing, and fixed it again. Needless to say I was very upset. Remember it hasn't been a year since I bought 2 brand new ones and this is the 4th time this has happened. So I asked the tech what can we do to stop this cycle, adding that I was very bummed and how would he feel if he was in my shoes. The tech's response was as follows.... "We, (Crispy Air) are finding out that there were some units that we installed that were lemons". "We won't replace them because we can fix them and as long as we can fix them they don't need to be replaced". I am writing this review in July.. My downstairs A/C is OUT AGAIN...

The technician opened the heat pump cover, saw a frosted valve, and proclaimed it was chocked and must be replaced. He did not perform any additional checks or measurements. In a couple of days, he came back with a new valve. Replaced the old valve, added 10lb of R-410A refrigerant, and left. About a month later the unit started to exhibit the problems (constantly running and unable to keep the temperature). I called the company back only to be told I just missed the 30-day warranty deadline. Therefore, I selected another repair service. This time the technician was very thorough and found the real culprit of the problem: a refrigerant leak in the evaporative coil.

It was good.

It was good. They were easy to work with, pretty reasonably priced compared to some other quotes. I was able to get a bigger unit than some that were $3,000 more. They went about and beyond and offered an upgrade when they didn't have the unit I wanted available.

In early June I called American Home Shield to assign a vendor to come give my AC a check prior to summer. The first repairman they sent didnâ t have a ladder tall enough to get up on the roof even though I had told AHS they needed a 30 foot ladder. So he did no service that day and he had to call another person to come out the next day with a taller ladder. That guy came out the next day still didnâ t have a tall enough ladder, proceeded to put his ladder on my patio roof to get up on the roof or the AC is and he fell off breaking his arm. Then I had to wait a week for another repair person to come out. He got up on the roof and said there was a refrigerant leak and that he would have to repair the leak and add refrigerant â ¦ But not before he had to send the estimate to AHSto see how much they would Pay versus my share. Soâ ¦ A week later, they came back and said AHS Would pay $10 a pound and I would be responsible for the other $125 a pound. Which I paid. They eventually came out said they repaired the leak and put the refrigerant in and said it was good to go. Four weeks later I have no air again itâ s 100° in my house and I had to start a whole new claim with AHS. This is such a sham. If anybody hires Crispy Air itâ s a disaster.

My experience with Crispy Air & Heating was absolutely horrible and I would advise anyone thinking of using them to stay away. I did not have a choice since they were contracted to do the work through my warranty company for my Air conditioning unit. There was water leaking through the unit and dripping onto the floor. First it was Kory who came out and did something and said it was fixed. I checked the same day evening and water was still dripping under and it was even more than before. I sent Kory pictures and he came out next week again and said that the pan is rusted (without opening) and needs to order a new pan. They said they will order the pan and that was one month or so ago. After few weeks I called them (by then Kory wouldnt respond to my texts/calls) and asked about the situation and they said that since this is not a new unit, it will take a month to order the pan. I waited and after few more week they gave a call and said they are going to order a custom pan just for this unit and that someone will come to take measurements. After few days Sandy came to measure the size and went back and after a week I got the call that they got the part and will do the work today. I thought finally this will be done, but I was wrong... completely. Today the tech, Brandon came to the house and they opened the unit, cutting the drain pipes and pulling every pipes that is connected (not so gently) and finally once the unit was out after the tugging and pulling and breaking, he determined to check the pan that he got with him to know that the pan was not the right size (can you fit 19" into a 17" box?). He didn't mind to check this small huge detail until after breaking apart everything in such a way that it can not be put back.. Im looking at him and all the open parts and the cut drain pipe and still hoping he has a plan at least to put back the way before.. Well nothing! The plan was to go back to step 1 (order the parts..wait for the right part).. but the difference is I dont have an air conditioning unit until I get the right size pan.. and wait for it.. thats not their concern, I am not their customer (words from Brendon). I need to check with warranty company how to deal with a situation of living in the desert in 115 degrees without an air conditioner unit which was at least running before their endeavor to correct the drain issue and making the simplest mistake of ordering the wrong part after studying it for a month to figure out they can order a custom part.. custom? really? I dont think so. Great! Im fine with people making mistakes as long as they own up to it and remedy the situation to the satisfaction of the customer. Even the front desk lady(Hollie) is extremely rude and even slammed the phone on me twice even when they screwed me up. Beware!!

The tech spent days trying to repair a simple problem. Eventually bypassed the control board to get the A/C to work which we didn't find until the following winter when the system ran for days and eventually cooled the building down to 45 degrees. Another contractor came out and told us about their incorrect repair. Repeated attempts to get their help in resolving the issue failed to get a return phone call and eventually we had to file a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors.

The installers were professional, knowledgeable and installed out new Heating A/C system in just a couple hours.

This is a real review, and it is fair..read it. If you use a WARRANTY COMPANY and get referred to Crispy, don;t blame them when the warranty companies deny much of your claim over a set limit, like 1500 bucks. You signed up for it in the contract and Crispy is uninvolved. And no I do not work for them. I had a big issue with my combo Trane unit, 3 blown boards and some valve and fan issues. It was 11 years old and just came off a DONLEY INC 10 Year plan. It died like 2 months after it the plan ended, quite suspicious Donley was pitching either a new unit or a minimum 4K repair, which could rise...I told them to take a hike. It took about a week, and one night they were at my house until 10 PM, But Crispy NAILED the repair, installed a new Nest and put me on their plan, and I could not be happier. They were late a few times and it took some troubleshooting, but I don;t care, it was well done since they grabbed a nest of hornets. I will use them again and probably have them do my next install. They provide realistic service at a great price. DON't BLAME them for the home warranty SCAM it is not a warranty it is a discount plan with added marketing, nothing more. Well DONE to the team at CRISPY AIR.

This company was great prior to getting their money for the job. They responded to calls, emails and texts, and got the job done quickly. After the job was done and I had questions, and needed information and wanted a contract for the 3 year PMA in writing, I cannot get a response by phone, email or text from them. I would not use this company again based on the experience after they received payment. It is very poor customer service and displays what they value most. I had thought of using them for my company, but now would not consider it.

They were very Prompt and polite. They kept us updated as to the time of arrival right up to the minute . Got right to the issue... and took care of the problem quickly. I would highly recommend both Crispy Air & Heating and the Tech Korey who came to the house. It was very nice for a change to have someone that cares about both their job and the customer !

They came on a Saturday. I did not hear their phone call. When I called them back they made time to come back the same day. They did not charge for the service call. They have an app that lets you know who is coming and when. I recommend them.

This company did not charge a fee to come out to give an estimate. They were very friendly & professional. Cory & Jeramy explained what needed to be done. They repaired the air condition unit, so far it's working fine. All in all it was a good experience.

Our AC unit went off after other workers used a GFI plug in our garage. It tripped the AC unit. Repairman wanted to come out to see why the breaker had tripped on the unit. He said we need a new condensor $2,200 and if we replace the whole unit, $5,500. He said the unit may or may not last the summer. Was not high pressure to sell us on anything, which we greatly appreciated.
HomeAdvisor
Honest and didn't try to sell you on things that you didn't need.

Because I had no choice, I authorized a $1,000 repair that was expalained to me that works 90% of the time. Turns out the technician was there for aboout 10-15 minutes. When he left, he left his phone number and said to call if there were any problems. Tthe AC worked for about an hour and the Tech was contacted. The response was to wait until 6 or 7pm for the repair to work. When the tech was contacted again he said there was nothing he could do until Monday. Unacceptable. Have to hire another company.
