Unfortunately i can't give them a full 5 star review. They did an A/C install for me a few years back and were really wonderful however here recently my furnace was having issues i called both numbers and left a message to have them come out and look at my furnace and fix it. I never received a call back. I did get my furnace fixed so we now have central heating again. I'm very disappointed that they never called back thus the reason for the low review. I'm not sure why they couldn't just call back and say they were very busy for x amount of days or even weeks. I understand being booked but to not even get a phone call to communicate that is poor business practice. I hope they fix that in the future but as of now i will not use them again.

Mr Jeff ( Owner) Was So Sweet & Neato. As he's done work for us before! & Did A great & Wonderful Job. Along with Reasonable Cost! This last time we called it was Snowing! Heater went out. When called left A message. Who we were. And Seniors. He got back with us. Squeezed us in.☺ & Again Great Job & Cost! We've told A lit family & Friends abt. What's Nifty is he's in Chino Valley, AZ. & He doesn't add on Gas cost etc.. ( Like other outlets we called we're PRICEY Just to come & See what Problem was!) Thxs Mr Jeff U D Bomb! Sad to say, but I do not recommend. Dave seemed great & very responsive at first - before I paid him thousands - but when my HVAC issue was not solved, he ghosted me - and - he doesn?t honor his "3-year warranty." I have many many unanswered texts since June. He could have been more personable and checked the things I asked him to, but instead blew me off. As a female customer, I trusted him due to his quick responses & willingness to help - at first. Wish I'd gone with a more established company.

We've used Dave for a couple of years for service on our HVAC system at our beach house. This year, it was time to replace one of the original A/C systems that dated back to 2001. I had previously talked to Dave about performing the job. I texted him on a Saturday AM, and he responded immediately that he would swing by that weekend to survey the job and issue a quote. Upon doing that, he committed to performing the job that following week, even with us out of town. I mailed a check for the project. Dave and crew showed up, completed the job to perfection, and locked up the house upon leaving. We will only use Hometown in the future. Dave's prices are always fair and reasonable.

I haven't ever had to call anybody for the heat.

He was actually recommended by my neighbor. He is very good. His price on the freon is very good. I?ve appreciated him, just because I know I need a new unit, but he doesn?t ever go there. If I bring it up, he will talk about some of the options are, but only if I bring it up. That?s what I like! I like somebody that?s not saying, ?oh, this thing is old, you need to get rid of it. Here, I have one for you and boy is it a deal!?  <br /> <br /> He is so responsive! If I call him at 3:00 in the afternoon, he is liable to come before he goes home that evening. If not, he will come first thing in the morning. He?s amazing. He has never left me stranded or wait 2 days, ?I?ve got a back log, etcetera, etcetera! ?He?s never done that to me. I don?t know if he does that for everybody, but I assume so. I?ve used him a number of times. It is great service.   <br /> <br /> I feel like he is very reasonable. I appreciate that he doesn?t, again come and list the most expensive thing that we can think of. He starts and says, ?well, let?s is if it?s the freon!? Of course, he examines the unit outside and all of that. Nice guy, really nice guy. He is the only one I?ve used. This is my first time even though I?m a senior, this is my first time owning a home. My husband was a pastor, so we had a parsonage. I found him, because of my neighbor. I have certainly liked him. Come June, I bet you I will be using him again.

Showed up very early, which was a nice surprise! Took a quick look and replaced some wiring and a blown capacitor on our outdoor air conditioning unit. It went so well and he was so prompt, professional, and reasonably priced that we are canceling our monthly contract with one of the big, constantly-advertising a/c and heating companies. We will use Hometown from now on. <br />

I am an out of town land lord for a condominium being rented in Virginia Beach by a family with 2 small children. When Virginia Beach experienced abnormally high temps the week of 5/12/14, their AC did not work at all when they turned it on for the first time of the season. Being unfamiliar with who to call in Virginia Beach, I made several calls to try and determine responsiveness, price, qualtiy and most importantly, the turnaround time before they could come check out the problem. Many contractors were extremely backed up and indicated it could be 10 days before they could even look at my unit. <br /> David was willing to squeeze them in the same day I called. They arrived on time, determined the problem and got me a quote for replacing needed equipment by the following morning. David took the time to answer my questions, then got us scheduled for repair the next day. All in all, we were only without AC at the condo for our tenants for 2 days - which is significant in my mind since many contractors I called couldn't even make their first service call for several more days! <br /> David and his team were courteous, professional and thorough. My tenants commented on how satisfied they were with the entire process. I would highly recommend Hometown Heating and AC, and will use them again should the need arise. <br />

We have worked with Hometown in the past, as they are responsive, honest, and punctual. We noticed a slow leak in our first floor ceiling, and initially called a plumber. After inspecting (and making a hole) in our ceiling, the plumber concluded that there were no pipes in the vicinity of the leak, and this was not a plumbing issue. I made a call to David with Hometown, and he was able to look at it within 2 hours. Apparently, the ductwork was and quot;sweatingand quot;, causing this gradual leak and subsequent ceiling damage. We agreed for him to return with supplies to fix the problem. He was punctual, cleaned up after himself, and gave some good tips on prevention and maintenance. We will not hesitate to call him again, we just hope we don't have to. :) Now on to ceiling repair... <br />

GREAT SERVICE! Super fast! Even better prices!Very hot summer day 95+ degrees, 8 months pregnant wife at home when the AC goes out. The service guys were there in under an hour after I called! The house was cool and AC unit back up and running in a very short time. The best part was the pricing...MUCH, MUCH, lower than everyone else. These guys are great, will defiantly use again! They also replaced the batteries in a smoke alarm that was beeping, my wife couldn't reach it and it was driving her crazy, of course at no charge!

They were quick and caring about the problem. I only gave 4 stars for the money/value as I have no idea the end bill will be, but I did not ask either. Got to have heat.

Very honest. Wouldn't sell you anything you didn't need. We asked for a quote on a new furnace, which they could have sold us, but instead all we needed was a $75 part ! Nice to see such an honest company
