After 22 years of great service from our original HVAC units we were faced with the reality of replacing both units, both inside and outside due to the 2025 Federal Freon requirements. Our next step involved making appointments and meeting HVAC companies in person. We were instantly shocked as the equipment specs and pricing started returning for review. Only one company “Calvin Air, LLC” responded positively to every single phase of the process. From the initial appointment, to the quote response, to the equipment specifications, to the package cost, the super professional installation team, the system startup, and several follow up in person meetings and phone conversations during the first two weeks. We received two 17+ seer systems with humidity control (OMG) and our home has been transformed completely. Thank you AJ Calvin!

Hands down the best major purchase I've made as a homeowner. I inherited a decrepit a/c unit as well as a disastrous design for it. I had 2 units , 1 return flow and both units installed in perplexing places. My levelized billing being more expensive every month than the highest summer bill of houses almost twice my size was obvious I needed a new unit. My problem was not that all of the companies I got quotes from were extremely high, I was willing to pay it , I had no choice. My concern is that most guys talked over my head and left me with little confidence of what they'd change. They all agreed it was an awful design and their plan seemed to be just replace what you got with ours. Long story short, AJ put it in layman's terms and all along kept boldly stating I'd love this unit. He was spot on. I didn't even know ac units could control humidity as well temp. And although I wasn't looking for a bargain , it was much lower than any other quote. Not even in same ballpark. And this included him figuring out the best way to install them. Him and his guys added another air return and moved one unit into the most obvious and efficient place for it. Put a second one in the crawl space and almost made it looked like the crawl space was remodeled. And the guys who worked for him were very knowledgeable and professional. I was estatic. Ive now made 2 full months where I can compare apples to apples wirh tbe bill. May 2024 $22 a day , this last may $12 ....... the next month was similar. And technically these two months this year have been slightly hotter than last according to my bill. Granted, I'm sure I'm on the extreme side of a bad design , but it's not just relative to where I was starting , this guy knows what he's doing. And not only do I recommend his product , the guys customer service is really what I'd rate the highest. He made it a top priority to get back in touch with me when I called and always updated me on the progress. If I'm lucky enough to out live this unit, I'll call him in a second.

I would call this team The “Dream Team”….they delivered in every area of customer’s satisfaction.Calvin,Curt & Harry each were like domino effect.They were all about fulfilling their job titles and getting the job done. So many things has changed when it comes to quality services.These guys and one was very young, they all had that old school style about them “ all about the customer and satisfaction in getting the job done. Our ac/heat was not cooling well and our power bill was ridiculous. AJ came and gave us a great price, installed quickly and our power usage has gone down from $13-14 a day to $7.53 for the last 4 days!!! That’s almost half the usage which means great savings on our power bill and we are so much cooler! Our old unit was loud from the day we had it installed. This one we can barely hear and the dehumidifier makes the house much more comfortable. Every tech that came dressed very nearly, were very friendly and knew their job. We are 200% satisfied!

Calvin Air installed a new four ton heatpump in our home last week. The two servicemen, Curtis and Casey, brothers, were extremely friendly, respectful and very hard working. They were so appreciative of even a bottle of cold water. They came and finished in one day, leaving everything clean and working properly. It was a pleasure having them in our home. We LOVE our powerful COLD air! Thank you so much Mr. CALVIN!! ❤️

Calvin Air did a great job replacing my old dinosaur of an air conditioner!! Very quick to come out and look at it then installed it within a few days!! The house is cooling so much better now! AJ’s prices were also great compared to others! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

When I first called, the owner came to my house, inspected everything in person, and gave me a quote for the work. A few days later I decided to move forward, and he confirmed, so I secured financing and prepared for the project. His crew came out the next week, and shortly after, the owner returned to tell me they couldn’t do the job after all, citing manpower. My house didn’t change between his original assessment and when they backed out. He saw everything firsthand, so walking away after I had already committed was unprofessional and a major inconvenience. This wasn’t a case of me “holding it against” the company. It was a case of being quoted a firm price, committing to it, securing a loan, and then having the company back out after I had already invested my time and money. My review reflects my actual experience so others are aware.

Had the pleasure of having Mr Calvin himself come out to my house he was super professional extremely polite and in and out quickly …

AJ did a great job installing our new Bryant Central Heat and Air system. It just a few hours they had the 23 year old system out and installed the new system. Our new system is quite as compared to the old one. We should save some money in electric with the new unit SEER rating of 16 versus he old unit with a SEER rating of 10. I would recommend Calvin Air to anyone needing a new unit or repair work done on an existing one.

I called AJ Calvin with Calvin Air for a last minute evening call and he was at the property within 15 minutes. Got the work done at a reasonable rate. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Extremely thankful for Calvin Air! AJ came out last week to give us a second opinion after Hansen’s quoted us over $2K for our heat that wasn’t working due to a “broken gas valve”. AJ discovered that the valve was indeed NOT broken and just needed a repair, a less than $300 repair!!! I’m grateful for the time spent finding the true root of the problem instead of a cash grab.
