I called my home warranty company and the first day I could get a house call was 4 days out! I called Straight Cool and they were able to come out the same day. They were prompt, reasonably priced, and super friendly. I would totally recommend them to everyone. My A/C is working perfectly and I couldn’t be happier about the all services I received.

I've been a homeowner for over 25 years, which means I've dealt with my fair share of repair companies. It's hit or miss when you pick your own provider and even worse if it's a company your home warranty assigns. I can say without a doubt that this was the best experience I've had with a repair company. The guys were on time, polite and professional, cleaned up after themselves, and even told me they would be sure to close the gate to the backyard before they left. Great service.

Straight Cool does high quality work with a price that fit my budget. I called four other companies and they wanted to charge me a lot more because it was outside of normal hours. I was beyond grateful for the service and price I was given. They came out within an hour on a Friday night and installed a whole new unit efficiently. Would totally recommend them!!

Kid came to do maintenance didn't seem to know too much, he left and my thermostat was blank. Called them right away they stated when cleaning the unit he had to turn it off and breaker must've blown I advised him it was working fine before.. They text you to cancel appts last minute and on the day of, and on top of that they were texting the wrong number after giving them the prefered number everytime I spoke to them. They refused to come again because our system was "working weird" asked the lady to send to me in writing so I could show warranty company she took my info but I never received anything she stated she would send. Went with a dif company, they kept their appt and fixed my ac asap.

Pretty upset with there service! My home warranty made an appointment with them two days in advance so I took off of work for them to take a look into my A/C unit and they never showed up! I called them three times with no answer or call back I lost $400.00 worth of wages due to me not being at work and most importantly lost 5 hours of time that I could have been spending with my family I would never recommend!

8/10/20 Kierra and her team worked tirelessly with my home warranty company, so I may receive the maximum credit that I needed and that my unit was up to code. Dan, the on site technician, was patient and honest with all my inquiries. They never pushed a sale and were willing to work with my budget to make sure I had the better option in the long run. They gained my trust by providing me with all my options and allowing me to choose while considering my budget. Even after multiple quotes and opinions on my HVAC replacement, I choose SCM's integrity. Thank you SCM for saving my first summer in San Antonio.

The AC unit that was installed cycles on once every 2 hours and only for a brief amount of time. I called multiple times I keep getting told they will call me back and nothing happens. The technicians were very friendly but the system does not work properly. *** Update. The AC unit was originally set too low by technician and system could not keep up and I adjusted it to a higher temp accordingly to cool overnight. The company came out the following morning to do a check and charged me 55 dollars for a 5 minute visit, I was not told there would be a charge by the phone representative otherwise I wouldve cancelled.

A/C went out and they showed up right away. The technician was very polite and prepared. He told me exactly what was going on why it happened. He provided awesome pricing and prompt service, if I have an issue I know where to go first.

Straight Cool responded quickly to my service call. These guys were absolutely the best I could ask for. I appreciate their professionalism, courteousness, and knowledge. I just erased all my other entries for A/C repair in my Rolodex -- these guys are perfect! I know I can depend on these guys to get the job done right!

To get a tech out to give an estimate was a breeze and customer service on the phone super, but after that I'd never know we never received a bid and wasn't going to push it. If I'm not worth the time to sit down and write up a bid than I guess I shouldn't bug...

Michael with Straight Cool came quickly to help with a broken A/C. They worked to find and fix the problem. They were very courteous and I would definitely recommend them to friends.

A/C and heat went out. Called this company and they responded the next day and installed a new system. Not knowing anything about AC/Heating systems. They explained everything and walked me through the options. I found a great system at an affordable price and a great company for future use. Thanks !!!!! Back in Action !!!

Fast, friendly, professional and flexible. I had to reschedule on a couple of occasions and Abel was understanding and accommodating. He showed me the problem and walked me through next steps.

Was giving a false diagnosis the teach was so rude i had to insist on telling him to check my duck work and he didn’t want to He said compressor was bad he never put a multi meter $150 dollars gone for a false diagnose (8/1) Had another company come by today(8/2) because i wasn’t satisfied with what he told me turns out that my machine was over charged and he took the cover off the machine to red the compressor with the multimeter and he said your compressor is good he probably just assumed if he didn’t take this cover off and put the multimeter on which he didn’t so bless with finding this new ac tech company *please don’t waste you money thank god i didn’t buy into buying a new system Always get second opinions

Needed A/C service for a loud noise the system was making.... I didn't want to run it. Called Straight Cool, they scheduled me that day, had it fixed in no time. Friendly technician.

Maximo was a very nice young man that was very courteous and polite. And he explained and answered any questions that I asked him.
